Abstract

Creativity is a very important skill to have, without creativity a person will not be able to adapt to the developments that occur in the current era of globalization. The ability to think creatively is very important for students because through creative thinking, students are expected to understand, manage, and solve the problems they face. The creativity that students have can be a skill they have to face every opportunity and difficulty they will face. The method applied in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development of this LKPD refers to the development model proposed by Robert Maribe Brach with the ADDIE approach. ADDIE stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Learning by using LKPD based on creativity is effective and can be used in the learning process in grade IV elementary school students. The feasibility of learning media has been reviewed by subject matter experts, media experts, and trials on grade IV elementary school students. Validation assessed by material experts and media experts, shows that creativity-based LKPD is included in valid criteria and is suitable for use as teaching materials for teachers and students. It can be concluded that creativity-based LKPD is effective for science learning on photosynthesis material. For future researchers, they can develop better and better Learner Worksheets, besides based on creativity, LKPD can be developed based on other 4C skills, such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, innovation.

Abstract

The research that has been done is entitled “Development of ELKPD Based on Discovery Learning on the material structure and function of plant tissue in class XI Madrasah Aliyah”. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the from of ELKPD Based on Discovery Learning on the material structure and function of plant tissue in class XI Madrasah Aliyah which are valid, practical and effective. This study used the R&D research method with a 4D models (define, design, develop, disseminate). The test subjects in this study were class XI students of MAS Al-Ittihad Aek Nabara. The results of the media expert validation test obtained a percentage of 92% in the very feasible category and the results of the material validation test obtained a percentage of 96% in the very feasible category. The results of the practicality test assessment of the teacher’s response obtained a percentage of 89% in the very feasible category and the results of the practicality test assessment of students obtained a percentage of 99% in the very feasible category. The results of the assessment of the effectiveness test obtained an average percentage of 0,68 in the medium category. Based on the results of testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product, it can be concluded that, ELKPD based on discovery learning on the material structure and function of plants tissue in class XI madrasah aliyah which is developed is feasible to be used as additional teaching material for students in the process of learning biology.

Abstract

The research that has been done is entitled “Development of Biology Learning Modules Based on Discovery Learning on Plant Material for Class X High School”. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the from of biology learning modules based on Discovery Learning on plant material that are valid, practical and effective. This study used the R&D research method with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation). The test subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Pegajahan. The results of the assessment of the material and media expert validation test obtained an average percentage of 94,67% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality test assessment from the responses of educators and students obtained an average percentage of 87,77% in the very practical category. The results of the assessment of the effectiveness test obtained an average percentage of 0,67 in the medium category. Based on the results of testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product, it can be concluded that the biology learning module based on Discovery Learning on the plant world material developed is valid use as additional teaching material for students in the biology learning process and can be used independently. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan big book terhadap kemampuan mempredikksi bacaan cerita siswa kelas III di SD Muhamadiyah 28 Medan. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, uji Wilcoxon,dan uji hipotesis Mann-Whitiney dengan taraf signifikasi ∝= 0.05. Temuan dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan media big book terhadap kemampuan memprediksi bacaan cerita siswa tersebut dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan dilhat dari hasil validasi ahli isi dan ahli media dengan skor 76%, media ini juga dinyatakan praktis dalam penggunaannya dilihat dari 14 kriteria dengan persentase 85,71% dan penggunaan media big book ini juga sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memprediksi bacaan cerita siswa kelas III di SD Muhamdiyah 28 Medan dengan persentase 92,6% pada sampel dan 87,5% pada guru pada taraf Asym Sig 0,001 < dari taraf signifikasi 0,05. Sebagai hasil akhir dilakukan uji hipotesis Mann-Whitney dengan hasil signifikasi 0,002 sehingga, berdasarkan kriteria pengambilan keputusan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima

Abstract

The low high-level thinking skills (HOTS) of fourth-grade students in science subjects, especially in the ability to analyze and create. The main objective of this study is to improve the HOTS of fourth-grade students by developing learning media based on concrete objects. The research conducted in this study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method by applying the 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The study subjects were 32 fourth-grade students of SDN 09 Bilah Hilir. Data analysis used validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. Media and material experts assessed the media created as very valid (86% and 90%, respectively). Both teachers and students scored in the "very practical” range on the practicality test (95.3 and 94%, respectively). The N-Gain score in the medium category of 69.9% was used to measure media efficacy. The concrete object-based learning media developed is valid, practical and effective in improving students’ HOTS abilities in science learning.

Abstract

Learning activities in the new normal era in schools are starting to re-run a different learning process from before which must create creative learning so that it can produce outstanding students. Discovery learning-based worksheets are intended to provide direct learning knowledge and meaningful learning process processes so that they are able to direct students to find learning concepts. The purpose of this research is to produce LKPD-oriented learning material discovery in the plant world which is declared feasible, practical, and effective in its use in the process of learning activities. The development model in this study is 4D which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate, research subjects for students of 1st class (X IPA 1) of Senior High School of SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan. The research instruments are expert & media expert validation sheets on feasibility testing, practitioner validation sheets to determine practicality, as well as pretest and post-test sheets and student response sheets for effectiveness testing. The results of the study prove that the discovery learning-oriented worksheets developed are declared very feasible with a percentage of 85.5%, very practical with a percentage of 93.5%, and very effective with an increase in learning in the medium category which has been tested with n-gain with a score of 0, 5 and the student's response was very good with a percentage of 82.4%. The results of the study concluded that the discovery of learning-oriented student worksheets that were developed was very feasible, very practical, and very effective in their use in the learning process

Abstract

The research aims to determine: (1) the feasibility level of the module based on the local potential of Biology; (2) the level of practicality of the biology module; and (3) the level of effectiveness of the use of biological modules based on local potential of coffee plants (Coffea sp.) on the material of inheritance patterns. Development research includes the following stages: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation. The test subjects consisted of media experts, material experts, linguists, and 1 MGMP teacher with 40 students at MAS Miftahussalam, 10 students as small group trials and 30 students as large group trials. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and a test sheet. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the feasibility of the media was in the very feasible category (94.54%); (2) The biology module material is in the very feasible category (87.63%); (3) The language is in the very feasible category (91.66%); (4) Practicality obtained from MGMP teachers is in the very practical category (94.75%); (5) The trial of 40 students was in the practical category (76.48%); and (6) the effectiveness obtained by n-gain of 0.71 with the effective category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the biology module based on the local potential of the coffee plant (Coffea sp.) on the material of inheritance patterns is very feasible, practical, and effective in improving the learning outcomes of class XII students

Abstract

Traditional games must be adapted for the present since they have cultural values that need to be conserved for future generations. This study attempts to create an EFAS (Engklek Fun and Smart) medium version of a typical game product. With research experience at IES Al-Ittihadiyah Berastagi, this study applies the Research and Development (R&D) technique. Forty-five first graders of Islamic Elementary School (IES) Al-Ittihadiyah Berastagi became the study participants. The findings indicate that the EFAS medium is recognized as valid. The "Very Valid" category showed an 89.63% score for the EFAS medium. It is also claimed that the EFAS medium is useful. This information came from a survey of the students and teachers’ opinions. Twenty-five students completed a questionnaire on the EFAS medium, and the questionnaire received 9.6% in the "Very Practical" category. A score of 97.5% in the "Very Practical" category came from the teachers’ response to the supplied statement. The results of the two questionnaires indicate that the teachers and students’ replies are categorized as being very practical. Third, the EFAS medium is deemed operational. This was demonstrated by the fact that the students were able to respond to the ASK and DO question instruments both in writing and orally with a score of 92% during the learning process utilizing EFAS. Written responses to EFAS infer that it can be an "effective" medium, whereas oral responses indicate that the medium can help students develop their communication abilities. This justifies the declaration that the EFAS medium is legitimate, applicable, and useful for enhancing students' communication skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is an essential skill possessed by elementary school students in the 21st century learning era. One tool that supports the development of this ability is puzzle card board media. This research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of this media in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in elementary schools. The research method applied is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE research model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages. The product developed in this research is puzzle card board media which is adapted for science subjects, then its validity is tested by media experts and material experts, and distributed via questionnaires to teachers and class V students at SDIT Ummi Aida. The research subjects consisted of 29 class V students. The object of this research was the development of puzzle card board media. Based on the results of research and development, it was concluded that this puzzle card board media met the research criteria as evidenced by a media validation score of 93.7%, and a material validation score of 90.6% with a value range of 76%-100%, including in the very valid category. This research received responses from teachers with a score of 98.6% and responses from students with an average score of 86.7% in the practical or very good category for use. This shows that the puzzle card board media is included in the criteria of valid, practical and effective use as teaching material for teachers and students. The author recommends that this research is not only centered on improving critical thinking, but on developing creativity in accordance with 21st century learning skills
