Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of biology E-Modules on environmental change materials integrated with Wahdatul Ulum in class X SMA/MA, which are valid, practical, and effective with the Four-D model, which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research was conducted on class X-A students at MAN 2 Model Medan. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data were obtained through validation test sheets, practicality test sheets, and effectiveness test sheets. Meanwhile, qualitative data was obtained through suggestions and criticisms from validators and educators. Data collection instruments were carried out by observation, validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test. The results of this study illustrate that (1) A score of 90,38% (Very Valid) was obtained on material testing, 97% (Very Valid) on media validation testing, and 96,66% (Very Valid) on religious validation testing. (2) A score of 80% (Practical) was obtained in the practicality test, which included testing the educator's response, and 78% (Practical) in testing the students' response. (3) A value of 0,53 (Moderate) or (Quite Effective) was obtained on the student learning outcomes test by evaluating the pre-test and post-test, referring to the N-gain scale.

Abstract

This research aims to develop TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) based learning media on ablution material with the aim of increasing students'understanding. TPACK uses an approach that integrates technology, pedagogy and content knowledge to create effective learning experiences. The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects in this research were 20 people. Data collection techniques were obtained through validation tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests by expert people. Data collection instruments using questionnaires and student responses. The results of the research show that the development of TPACK-based learning media on ablution material is effective in increasing students' understanding. Students show improvement in understanding the steps of ablution, the meaning of the associated symbols and the relevance of daily life practices. This research contributes to the development of a learning model that can be adopted in the context of religious education, especially regarding ablution material. This learning media helps students understand the procedures for ablution so that they gain a valid, practical and effective understanding.

Abstract

The research entitled "Development of Komipa Media to Improve Students' Scientific Thinking at MIS AL-Musthafawiyah" was carried out by students who have scientific thinking in the field of Natural Sciences (Natural Sciences). This research shows that teachers use discovery in teaching materials. The aim of this research is to measure the development of students' scientific thinking by using comics as a learning medium. Previously, teachers used traditional media and rarely used comics. This research is an RND (Research and Development) study following the ADDIE model. The number of class III students at MIS Al-Mustafawiyah who took part was 18 people. Collection methods include questionnaires, interviews, and tests before (pretest) and after (posttest). The comic material assessment results show very high accuracy of up to 95%. In terms of language, the figure is 91.66%, which is also considered very important, and for media products it reaches 93.3% and in terms of design it gets a score of 80%.  Teachers' responses to the use of comics as a teaching medium show that comics are a very valid learning medium with a rating of 89.9%. Meanwhile, students' opinions on comics show that learning comics is very practical with a score of 89.2%. which will occur pre and post tests provide the most effective N growth of 86.7%. Based on research results, it is proven that komipa media is very easy and effective in improving students' science/scientific thinking skills at MIS Al-Mustafawiyah and is used by teachers as a solution, especially when the material changes the form of objects.

Abstract

Learning media innovation Flanchard, or flannel and cardboard, evolved from bookbased image media into three-dimensional flannel flanchard media.The goal of this study is to create a flanchard-based learning medium that is reliable, useful, and efficient.The research methodology utilized is the research and development (R&D) ADDIE development model, which consists of the following five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.The 24 students in class VIII at SMP Swasta Bina Siswa served as the study's subjects.Expert and media expert validation sheets for testing feasibility, practitioner validation sheets for testing practicality, pretest and posttest sheets, and student response sheets for testing effectiveness were the instruments used in the research.The study demonstrates that the developed Flanchard-based media is said to be very feasible with a percentage of 84%, very practical with a percentage of 86%, and very effective with an increase in learning in the high category, which was tested with n-gain with a score of 0.7 and participant responses.Keywords: Flanchard, biology learning outcomes, development research. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i3.pp1308-1319

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran siklus air tiga dimensi guna meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa TPI Syifaurrahma. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) diadaptasi dari model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar pre-test dan postest, angket guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Berdasarkan dari ahli materi diperoleh nilai 92% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Ahli media diperoleh nilai 93% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan dari data hasil uji coba kepraktisan dari respon hasil angket 26 siswa mendapatkan presentasi nilai sebesar 97% kemudian hasil angket dari respon guru wali kelas V memperoleh nilai 95% termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji evektifitas diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan posttest yang mengalami perubahan signifikan dan mendapat nilai N-gain sebesar 0,99 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah menggunakan media siklus air mampu meningkatkan keefektifitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student understanding in class IV after being given a valid, practical and effective Pop-Up Book media on the material of the force motion of objects. The method used in this research is Research and Developmet (R&D), using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This Pop-Up Book media has been validated by several experts including media experts and material experts. The percentage of results from experts on Pop-Up Book Media gets very valid and very practical criteria with a score of 86% on media experts and a score of 84% on material experts, a score of 92% from teacher responses, a score of 98% from student responses. From the results of N-Gaind with a score of 0.87 high category, therefore this study shows that there is an effect of using this learning media on increasing students' scientific thinking in learning the force motion of objects, this can be proven in the pro-test results which have a significant increase of 93.75 which is very effective compared to the pre-test results with a percentage value of 51.25 in the ineffective category. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that using Pop-Up Book Media is very feasible, practical, and effective to be used in learning science on the material of the force motion of objects to improve the scientific thinking of elementary school students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of LKPD based on scientific literacy. The research method uses development or R&D, which is applied to the 4D model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Sources of data were obtained through questionnaires or distributed questionnaires to determine validation and practicality tests, while data obtained through pretest and posttest were used to determine the effectiveness analysis of the developed LKPD. Data analysis techniques use quantitative methods, namely by calculating using Likert scale values and N-gain. The population in this study were 30 students of class X IPA 1 at Prima Tembung Private High School. The sampling used in this study is probability sampling, where every student has the same opportunity. The validity test of LKPD is used to evaluate the developed LKPD, which is measured using instruments in the form of validation from media experts and material experts. The results of the practical test for teacher and student responses were 75% and 79.62%, respectively, indicating that LKPD was very practical. The analysis of the LPKD effectiveness test was obtained through an N-gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category in improving students' scientific literacy abilities. Thus, scientific literacy-based LKPD on ecosystem material for class X high school developed by researchers proved to be valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Research purposes this is to produce a product in the form of a water cycle diorama media that is feasible, practical, and effective for increasing the ability to think critically. Methods applied in research This is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The population in this research was class V Mis Madinatussalam students, consisting of 30 students. Meanwhile, sampling in this study used a total sampling technique or used the entire population as the research sample. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research were interviews, tests, and questionnaires. This research uses qualitative data through observation, interviews, and LKPD, while quantitative data is used through pre-test and post-test. In this research, the data obtained was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis is used to describe the product development process. Quantitative analysis is used to describe product quality assessments, response questionnaires, and test learning outcomes through effectiveness tests. The results of data analysis are used for product improvement. The use of diorama media at the time is feasible, practical, and effective for students in fifth-grade elementary school. The effectiveness of diorama media was measured using the N-gain test. The average pre-test and post-test was 0.41, with a percentage of 41% in the medium category. Future researchers can develop diorama media on different subjects to improve other 4C skills, such as creative thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the poster-assisted Decision Making cooperative learning model on the creative thinking skills of students in class X Madrasah. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sample of this research is the students of class X IPA Madrasah Aliyah which consists of class X IPA 1 totaling 30 students as the experimental class and X IPA 2 totaling 30 students as the control class. The instrument in this research is in the form of a test in the form of essay questions with 1 item with indicators of creative thinking Fluency, Flexibility, Originality and elaboration. Analysis of creative thinking ability data using test formulas also with the help of Microsoft Excel 2010 Software. The prerequisite test proved to be normally distributed and homogeneous. The result of the test calculation is that it is worth 2.21076 and is worth 1.6973 so that it shows that it is accepted. The conclusions in this study explain that there is an effect of the poster-assisted Decision Making type cooperative learning model on biology material on the creative thinking skills of class X Madrasah students.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) are the ability to solve problems, think creatively, think critically, give arguments, and make decisions. Giving an understanding of HOTS makes students have the capabilities according to the 21st century so that they are able to compete and get more space in various sectors needed in life. To realize HOTS student teachers must be more innovative in using learning media, one of which is by using pop up book media. This study aims to see the effect of pop up book learning media on the HOTS ability of students on science and weather material and its effect on class III humans at MIS Nurul Huda binjai. This research framework uses a quasi-experimental design where the research design used is a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques using pretest-posttest. In analyzing the data, researchers used validity, reliability, normality tests with the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. For the validity test, 10 valid questions were found, for the reliability test the results of Cronbranch's alpha = 0.640 (reliable). In the Wilcoxon normality test, the output of the statistical test was found to be Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.001 because the value of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05) there is an effect of using pop up book learning media on students' HOTS abilities. For the Mann-Whitney test, the Asymp.Sig value is found. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. It can be said that there are differences in the HOTS of students between the experimental class and the control class. This means that there is an effect of using Pop Up Book learning media on the HOTS abilities of class III students on science material in MI.
