Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior or PHBS is a conscious application of behavior as a result of learning to enable individuals to provide help to themselves and the surrounding community in the health sector. One of the efforts implement PHBS is to wash hands before and after doing activities. The socialization was carried out at Sukabumi 2 Elementary School with the subjects of grade IV and V students to promote PHBS as an effort to prevent disease. Activities are carried out in elementary schools because at this level it is considered necessary to understand more deeply about their lifestyle. In the implementation of socialization using the "Community Education" and "Practicum" methods because the implementers provide new knowledge about PHBS and directly practice behaviors that reflect PHBS, namely washing hands properly. The students have quite understood the material because in this school the school's residents are aware of taking care of themselves and their environment.

Abstract

Kurang maksimalnya dalam menggunakan media sebagai alat untuk menyalurkan materi mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa menurun. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Cooperative learning tipe TGT pada siswa kelas 6 SD. Pembelajaran ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus penelitian. Setiap siklus memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan evaluasi serta refleksi tindakan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa SD kelas V yang terlibat. Data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Tes tersebut digunakan untuk mengukur keberhasilan hasil belajar siswa, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis data deskriptif, yaitu mencari rata-rata siswa, tingkat penyerapan, dan persentase belajar. Analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 2,5 dengan kategori kurang aktif dan siklus II sebesar 5,6 kategori aktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada siswa kelas 6 SD secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS.

Abstract

Implementation of the Reading aloud strategy to increase understanding of educational literacy in the SDN Merdeka Mangunharjo 6 curriculum. This study aims to improve students' literacy understanding through fun reading strategies.The subjects of this study were all 21 grade III students consisting of 12 boys and 9 girls. The research was carried out for 2 meetings, where each meeting was started by giving ice breaking with the aim of increasing students' enthusiasm before receiving learning in any form, after that giving literacy and then continuing with giving a question that was used to measure the level of students' understanding of the reading contained in the pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of literacy after using the reading aloud strategy.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that can be used to convey messages from the teacher to students so that they can stimulate the mind, feelings, interests, and students' attention so that the learning process can take place effectively. The problems that occurred at SDN Banjarsari 2 in class V showed that many students tended to feel bored, students looked lacking active in the learning process, and the material presented is difficult for students to understand. It was from here that the researcher was interested in conducting research entitled The effect of flashcard media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in social studies at SDN Banjarsari 2. Based on the background of the problems that have been occurs, then it is formulated "Is there any effect of flash card media on the learning outcomes of class V students in the social studies subject at SDN Banjarsari 2. This type of research is quantitative by using an experimental model One Group Pretest Posttest. Data collection techniques in this study are: observation, questionnaire, test, and documentation. Analysis of the data obtained from the results. This study uses descriptive and differential data analysis. Judging from the average score of students before using the flash card media, namely 57.61%, it is in the low category. Meanwhile, after using the flash card media, the average value of students, namely 77.61%, is in the medium category. From the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it can be seen that the tcount is 7.35. With a frequency (dk) of 21-1 = 20, at a significant level of 0.05 obtained ttable = 2.086, therefore tCount > tTable at a significant level of 0.05, then the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which means that the application of flash card media affects social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN Banjarsari 2.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada siswa kelas I di SDN Curahgrinting 3 Probolinggo adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa, terutama pada kemampuan berpikir logis dan kesulitan dalam menganalisis masalah matematika. Sejumlah siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berhitung mereka. Beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan khususnya saat diberikan tugas berhitung secara tertulis Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada materi berhitung menggunakan media berbasis quiz flashcard. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli materi, serta angket respon guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase 95% dengan kriteria sangat layak tanpa revisi, ahli media memperoleh persentase 97,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak sesuai revisi, respon guru memperoleh persentase 95% dengan kriteria sangat layak tanpa revisi, serta respon siswa memperoleh rata-rata 96,1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis quiz flashcard bermuatan kearifan lokal layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of difficulty and power of difference in multiple choice items in order to determine the weight of each item so as to determine the level of students' understanding of learning. This research was conducted on October 25-29 2022. This analysis uses multiple choice item variables because it is easier to accommodate all learning material and easier to collect score calculations on student tests. This study uses a quantitative method whose writing uses aspect measurements, calculation formulas and certainty of numerical data. We collect data through students' answers to Indonesian language exam questions and then process the data by calculating the formula so that we get raw scores from the multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that the level of difficulty of the multiple choice questions at SD Negeri Kedungdalem 2 is still not good enough and needs improvement in the preparation of the questions.

Abstract

Currently reading literacy in Indonesia is very low, due to a lack of interest in reading. This has happened since childhood, we are not used to reading. Reading literacy is the ability to understand in the form of written language needed by society. Mastery of literacy is important for increasing the achievements of the millennial generation in achieving success. Literacy cultivation must be carried out early on and realized because it is the main capital in creating an intelligent nation. Literacy activities are really needed for students to improve their reading quality. However, it is very unfortunate, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, it resulted in a decrease in the quality of children's literacy, especially at the Kindergarten level who will enter Elementary School. The method of this research is in the form of interviews and observations of grade 1 elementary school teachers, namely by increasing the reading and writing literacy culture movement for grade 1 students of SD Pabean Probolinggo. Based on the results of the interviews and observations that we conducted, it was stated that of the 29 students, there were 8 students who could read and 22 students who could not read. Where this shows that, the level of students' writing ability is higher than reading ability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of students' learning motivation in thematic learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research was conducted at SDN Kertosuko 3 with research data obtained from interviews using descriptive quantitative methods. The research was conducted by analyzing interest in learning and student learning outcomes which were calculated based on an authentic assessment system. The results of the study show that student learning motivation has an important role in student learning outcomes. this is evidenced by the acquisition of learning interest scores and the results of students' written tests.

Abstract

Learning media is a means of influencing a teaching and learning process.  In the absence of learning media, it is difficult for KBM to be implemented effectively.  Without realizing it, learning media has an important role in addition to teachers and students as the main objects in the learning process.  In this case it can be concluded that if the learning media is minimal/less then it will hinder the creation of real educational goals.  Besides that, the full contribution of the school is also very much needed in creating competent teachers in order to be able to form a conducive and enjoyable student learning enthusiasm that can get encouragement in increasing student motivation in learning.  The effectiveness of the assessment is also necessary in the teaching and learning process, because with the assessment the teacher can determine the abilities of each individual/student.  Assessment does not only focus on the learning outcomes that have been obtained, but also on the process of how students learn.  Assessment also functions as a relationship that influences each other and there is reciprocity between students and teachers, assessment in education also aims to find out the increase in student learning activities, in order to improve and enhance student learning at school and at home.  Problems that often occur related to learning media usually occur in schools located in remote areas, which are far from the reach of the government.  It can be exemplified by the lack of supply of textbooks and infrastructure such as projectors, etc. that can support success in learning.  In this case students have difficulty finding learning resources, so the teacher must contribute to creating learning media to cover these deficiencies, because the teacher has a very big role in changing student learning.

Abstract

Assessment is a series of the most important in learning. Assessment also provides objective feedback on what students have learned and is used to determine the effectiveness of learning. The research method is a guide for researchers about how to carry out research steps that are used to find, prove and various information or results that have been obtained from observations. This study uses qualitative and quantitative research models to analyze the questions. If the questions are analyzed qualitatively, this is done by examining aspects of the validity of the validation form, the aspects of which are: Material, Structure and Language. From the results of research activities at Ketopen Elementary School regarding written tests. The group got very satisfying results, because we got a lot of insight about the written test in detail starting from the definition, function of the test, examples of written tests and even how to make written test questions. From some of the results of group interviews with teachers at SDN Ketompen, the next step is for the group to compose questions in the form of HOTS-based descriptions in science learning for class VI. Written in the form of a description is a question that contains questions, where the questions are answered by expressing the thoughts of the test takers. So the way to make HOTS and LOTS questions is guided by the bloom taxonomy in which there are indicators and division of cognitive levels which are complemented by operational verbs starting from C1 to C6 where levels C1, C2, and C3 are the lost question categories. and starting at level C4, C5 and C6, it means the HOTS question category.
