Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of sharia financial literacy, perceived convenience, perceived usefulness, service features and security on interest in using LinkAja Syariah e-money among generation Z in Serang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative methods. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 290 generation Z respondents using cluster sampling techniques. Partial test results show that sharia financial literacy, perceived convenience, perceived usefulness, and service features have a positive and significant effect on interest in using LinkAja Syariah e-money. However, the security variable has no significant effect. Simultaneous test results state that all variables together have a significant effect on interest in use. These findings reinforce the importance of sharia literacy and perceived ease of technology in encouraging the adoption of e-money based on sharia principles. Abstract

Aceh, as the region with the most absolute Muslim majority and the formal implementation of Islamic law in Indonesia, provides a unique context for studies on religious moderation. This study aims to explore the resistance strategies of Christian women in Aceh's educational institutions as  an alternative lens to understand the dynamics of religious moderation. Framing the discussion within James C. Scott’s theory of public and hidden transcripts and supported by functionalist perspectives, this research highlights the functional resistance of Christian women in asserting their religious identity and their right to religious education. Utilizing a qualitative method with data gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation in Langsa and Banda Aceh, this study finds two forms of resistance: hidden resistance manifested in the veiling practices during the Sharia enforcement period and public resistance through open identity assertion and demands for religious education rights. These findings demonstrate that women, as social agents, play a crucial role in advancing religious moderation. The study recommends that governmental bodies, particularly the Ministry of Religious Affairs, formally recognize and empower women as key actors in promoting religious moderation across Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates how employee skills and workplace diversity influence customer satisfaction, brand awareness, and employee retention in Indonesian restaurants in Taiwan. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research explores the direct and indirect effects of these variables, with customer satisfaction acting as a crucial mediator. The findings highlight that employee skills significantly enhance customer satisfaction, which directly strengthens brand awareness and customer retention. Likewise, workplace diversity enriches customer experience, improving satisfaction and broadening brand reach. Notably, customer satisfaction mediates the relationships between employee skills, workplace diversity, and retention, underscoring its pivotal role in linking workforce dynamics to business outcomes. This paper contributes to Human Capital Theory and Social Exchange Theory, emphasizing the strategic value of developing employee skills and fostering workplace diversity. Practical implications suggest that restaurant owners should invest in training programs and inclusive workplace policies to enhance customer experience, build brand loyalty, and reduce employee turnover, ultimately driving business success.

Abstract

Capital structure has been a long-standing topic of discussion, representing the proportional arrangement of debt, preferred shares, and common shares in a firm. It holds a vital role in maximizing the effective use of resources and improving cash flow for stakeholders. To examine this relationship in depth, panel data from 2018 to 2022 was gathered for eight pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The study assessed several primary indicators of capital structure, including the debt-to-equity ratio, short-term leverage ratio, long-term leverage ratio, and the total debt ratio. Company performance was evaluated using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while variables such as inflation, liquidity, growth rate, tax rate, and firm size were controlled to strengthen the analysis. The results indicate that all categories of debt ratios—whether short-term, long-term, or total—tend to have a considerable negative effect on ROA. On the other hand, some debt measures, notably short-term total debt, are positively associated with ROE. The long-term debt ratio, however, shows a negative but statistically insignificant relationship with ROE. Furthermore, among the various determinants of company performance, liquidity ratios are found to be insignificant, underscoring the characteristics of the link between capital structure and performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi digital marketing syariah yang digunakan oleh Toko EB Batik Tradisional, sebuah bisnis batik tulis yang berdiri sejak 1978. Pemilik, Mas Hisyam Sulaiman, mengungkapkan bahwa strategi marketing offline meliputi workshop membatik, podcast, dan belanja batik yang disatukan dalam showroom. Strategi marketing online meliputi penggunaan platform e-commerce dan branding awarness untuk social media. Mas Hisyam juga menerapkan akad syariah seperti mudharabah dan salam, serta istishna’ yang memungkinkan konsumen membayar di awal dan mengirimkan motif batik yang diinginkan. Dalam analisis, tidak ditemukan unsur riba, gharar, atau penipuan yang melanggar prinsip ekonomi syariah. Dalam sintesis, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Toko EB Batik Tradisional telah menerapkan digital marketing syariah yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah dan akad syariah, serta memungkinkan konsumen untuk membeli batik tulis premium secara nyaman dan aman.
