Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang masa depan hukum waris dan wasiat di Indonesia mencakup beberapa aspek penting yang dapat memperbaiki sistem yang ada dan memberikan manfaat lebih besar bagi masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research). Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan, seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan manuskrip. Analisis dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif-analitis. Validitas data dijaga dengan melakukan triangulasi sumber, yaitu membandingkan berbagai referensi yang membahas topik serupa untuk memastikan akurasi informasi. Pendekatan ini dipilih agar dapat memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan komprehensif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa modernisasi hukum waris agar lebih selaras dengan nilai-nilai kesetaraan gender. Hal ini termasuk menghapus diskriminasi terhadap perempuan dalam pembagian warisan serta memastikan bahwa hak-hak mereka diakui secara adil dan setara, serta memastikan bahwa kepentingan anak-anak diutamakan dan bahwa hak mereka dilindungi secara tepat.

Abstract

Introduction: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) significantly increases the risk of both short-term and long-term cardiovascular disease (CVD) in women. Effective risk stratification during pregnancy is crucial for targeted interventions. This study aimed to compare the performance of established cardiovascular risk prediction models in a cohort of pregnant women with GDM in Padang, Indonesia. Methods: A prospective cohort study was conducted involving 350 pregnant women diagnosed with GDM at two major hospitals in Padang, Indonesia, between January 2022 and June 2023. Baseline demographic, clinical, and laboratory data were collected. Three established CVD risk prediction models – the Framingham Risk Score (FRS), the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) Pooled Cohort Equations (PCE), and a modified version of the PCE adapted for GDM (PCE-GDM) – were applied to calculate individual 10-year CVD risk scores. The primary outcome was the development of any major adverse cardiovascular event (MACE), defined as myocardial infarction, stroke, or cardiovascular death, or new-onset hypertension requiring medication, within one year postpartum. Model performance was assessed using discrimination (c-statistic) and calibration (Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test). Results: The mean age of participants was 32.4 ± 5.1 years. The prevalence of pre-existing hypertension was 8.6%, and the mean pre-pregnancy BMI was 28.5 ± 4.7 kg/m². During the one-year follow-up, 25 (7.1%) women experienced a MACE. The PCE-GDM model demonstrated the best discrimination (c-statistic = 0.82, 95% CI 0.76-0.88), followed by the PCE (c-statistic = 0.75, 95% CI 0.68-0.82), and the FRS (c-statistic = 0.68, 95% CI 0.60-0.76). The PCE-GDM also showed good calibration (χ² = 8.3, p = 0.41), while the FRS and PCE tended to underestimate risk (χ² = 18.5, p = 0.02 and χ² = 15.2, p = 0.06, respectively). Conclusion: The PCE-GDM model, specifically adapted for GDM, showed superior performance in predicting short-term cardiovascular risk compared to traditional models in this Indonesian cohort. These findings highlight the need for GDM-specific risk stratification tools to improve cardiovascular risk management in this vulnerable population.

Abstract

Every individual or every citizen is expected to be able to live a life of benefit to the nation and state and be able to anticipate developments and changes in the future. For this reason, provision of science, technology and art is needed which is based on religious values, moral values and national cultural values. These basic values are used as role models and life guidelines for every citizen in the life of society, nation and state. One of the learning contents that concerns understanding the unity and awareness of citizens in a country is citizenship education. Comprehensively, this article will discuss the concept, nature and existence of citizenship education learning, especially in elementary schools through literature studies. Literature studies are carried out by analyzing and generalizing various theories that are relevant to the problem being studied as material for developing concepts according to what is being studied. Researchers reveal that citizenship education is a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations to become Indonesian citizens who are intelligent, skilled and have character as mandated by Pancasila and UUD1945. In general, citizenship education is a very important subject. important. for students, it has visible characteristics from objects, scope of material, learning strategies, to the final goal of this education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari aplikasi DuoLingo terhadapkemampuan pengucapan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahmetode kuantitatif. Data pada penelitian ini didapat melalui pre test dan post test. Rata – rata skorpre test dari kelas eksperimen adalah 15,694 dan dari kelas control adalah 14,417. Setelahmendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi DuoLingo, skor rata – rata dari kelasexperiment meningkat menjadi 18,944. Sedangkan skor rata – rata kelas control yang tidakdiberikan pembelajaran dengan DuoLingo meningkat sedikit menjadi 16,305. Hasil dari T- testjuga menunjukkan bahwa skor rata – rata post test dari kelas experiment lebih tinggi daripadakelas controlHal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi DuoLingo berpengaruh terhadapkemampuan pengucapan siswa di kelas X SMA N 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan koordinasi mata tangan dengan kualitas servis bawahpada permainan bola voli. Metode penelitian  adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 475 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian adalah purposive sampling, dengan pertimbangan berjenis kelamin perempuan dan bisa melakukan servis bawah. Sehingga sampel berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu tes lempar tangkap bola untuk mengukur koordinasi mata tangan dan tes kemampuan servis bawah untuk mengukur kemampuan servis bawah. Berdasarkan analisis statistik, uji korelasi menggunakan SPSS 25 diperoleh koefisien variabel bernilai positif dengan nilai r hitung 0,527 nilai taraf signifikan 0,00 < 0,05 koefisien determinasi 0,278 atau 27,8%. Hasil ini dimasukkan dalam peta korelasi berada pada kategori sedang. Kontribusi koordinasi mata tangan dengan kemampuan servis bawah permainan bola voli sebanyak 27,8%, sedangkan 72,2% dipengaruhi oleh kondisi fisik lainnya. Kesimpulannya bahwa koordinasi mata tangan memiliki keterkaitan yang signifikan dengan kemampuan servis bawah bola voli

Abstract

This study aims to develop effective and engaging basic English grammar learning materials using the YouTube social media platform for eleventh-grade students at SMK Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which includes five phases: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Data collection techniques included expert validation, student questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. A total of 20 students participated in the trial implementation. The results of media validation showed a feasibility score of 86%, while content validation reached 93%, indicating that both the media and materials are valid for instructional use. Student feedback revealed high practicality, and learning outcome analysis showed significant improvement, with average post-test scores increasing from 75 to 93.2. These findings suggest that integrating YouTube as a learning platform can enhance students’ understanding of basic English grammar and contribute to a more interactive and student-centered learning environment.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the important factors that influence students' academic success, especially in Biology learning which requires deep understanding and high learning interest. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the role of teachers in motivating Biology learning in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach, and data were collected through a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale distributed to 33 students. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the role of teachers in motivating learning, both through a conducive classroom atmosphere, innovative learning methods, and providing constructive feedback. In conclusion, teachers have a significant role in generating students' learning motivation. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving teacher competence in motivational aspects to create a fun and effective learning experience for students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. This study used 2 classes, namely experimental and control classes, the experimental class, namely class X-4, was taught using the STAD type cooperative learning method and the control class, namely class X-1, was taught by the lecture method, which only asked students to pay attention to the material provided by the teacher. Data collection was carried out through a test form, the number of test forms in the form of 30 questions. Data analysis used the t-test statistical test to determine the difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught with the STAD type cooperative learning model. The experimental class students showed better understanding, the STAD type cooperative learning model was proven effective in student learning outcomes. The average pre-test score of the experimental class was 82.42 and increased to 92.37 post test scores, showing an increase of. While the pre-test value of the control class that did not use the STAD type cooperative learning model only increased from 87.17 to 88.45, showing an increase of. The results of the t-count hypothesis 4.13> t-table 2.000 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Rejection of H0 indicates that there is a significant difference between the post-test scores of experimental and control class students.

Abstract

Kesehatan anak usia sekolah dasar sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola hidup sehari-hari seperti kebiasaan makan, kebersihan diri, dan aktivitas fisik. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang kurang memahami pentingnya pola hidup sehat, sehingga rentan terhadap gangguan kesehatan seperti obesitas, kurang gizi, dan penyakit menular. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa sekolah dasar tentang pentingnya menjaga pola hidup sehat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif yang meliputi penyampaian materi interaktif, demonstrasi cuci tangan pakai sabun, senam bersama, kuis edukatif, serta refleksi komitmen sehat. Metode ini dipilih agar siswa dapat belajar sambil bermain dan langsung mempraktikkan kebiasaan hidup sehat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 95% kegiatan edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang pentingnya hidup sehat. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi. Mereka aktif bertanya saat sesi penyampaian materi, semangat mengikuti simulasi cuci tangan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif tidak hanya bagi siswa, tetapi juga mendorong sekolah untuk mendukung program pembiasaan hidup sehat secara berkelanjutan.
