Abstract

This study investigates the impact of learning independence on self-efficacy and academic success among elementary students in West Papua, within an educational context characterized by limited resources and external support. A quantitative approach with a census sampling method was employed, involving 85 students. Data were collected using questionnaires on self-efficacy and learning independence, and multiple regression analysis was applied to assess the relationships between these variables and academic success. The results revealed that both self-efficacy and learning independence significantly contribute to academic success, with each factor mutually reinforcing the other to enhance student learning outcomes. In conclusion, educational programs aimed at improving self-efficacy and learning independence can significantly boost academic performance, particularly in resource-constrained environments. The study also highlights the potential of project-based learning and collaborative activities to increase student engagement and deepen their understanding of complex concepts. Educators can further support students by providing constructive feedback and emotional encouragement, fostering an environment that empowers students to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. This study suggests the development of community-based educational interventions that focus on these factors to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational financing system at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh and its impact on improving the quality of education. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the school's educational financing is sourced from the school committee, parental contributions, and grants from the foundation. Fund management is carried out transparently and accountably, with appropriate allocation toward operational needs and quality improvement efforts. Effective financial management significantly contributes to enhanced teaching quality, improved school facilities, and the professional development of educators. This study concludes that sound financial management is a key factor in enhancing the quality of education in private schools.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis puisi kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto masih tergolong rendah. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kegiatan menulis merupakan suatu kegiatan yang cukup sulit dilakukan oleh peserta didik di kelas tersebut. Mereka masih mengalami kesulitan menulis puisi yang sesuai dengan sistematika penyusunan seperti pemilihan diksi, penyisipan gaya bahasa, dan tipografi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan nontes (observasi, wawancara, pemberian stimulus secara langsung, dan dokumentasi). Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto. Objek penelitian yaitu hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto. Hasil pratindakan, nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 75, pada pratindakan perlu adanya peningkatan. Siklus I nilai rata rata kelas 78, pada siklus I masih butuh peningkatan. Hasil siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas mengalami peningkatan yaitu 82. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, keterampilan menulis puisi kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan metode mind mapping

Abstract

Andesite mining activities cause land degradation that requires revegetation efforts for ecosystem restoration. This study aims to evaluate the ecological feasibility of bamboo as an alternative revegetation species for post-mining sites compared to conventional pioneer plants through a systematic literature review. Analysis was conducted on 45 relevant scientific publications from indexed academic databases, focusing on adaptability, soil improvement, erosion control, and contribution to biodiversity. Results show that bamboo has significant advantages in root systems (fine root biomass 1.1-4.5 kg m⁻³), erosion control effectiveness, and carbon sequestration potential (6-13 Mg ha⁻¹ year⁻¹). Bamboo also demonstrates high adaptability to marginal land conditions and provides sustainable economic value through selective harvesting without damaging the root system. Compared to conventional pioneer plants, bamboo provides more stable long-term contributions to post-mining ecosystem restoration. This study recommends the use of bamboo as a primary component in andesite post-mining land revegetation programs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian dan pengembangan ini untuk mengembangkan modul seni berbasis kearifan lokal di Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung (UML). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan literasi budaya pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, FKIP, UM Lampung, yakni aspek (1) memahami diversitas budaya, (2) mengetahui budaya di lingkungan sendiri, (3) kepedulian terhadap budaya. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif etnografi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di UM Lampung tahun akademik 2022/2023 semester ganjil. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi pastisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Validasi data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara reciprocal. Penelitian ini menghasilkan profil kemampuan literasi budaya yang dikelompokkan menjadi tiga, yakni (1) memahami diversitas budaya terkait: keragaman upacara pernikahan adat di beberapa daerah di Nusantara dan Lampung, (2) mengetahui budaya sendiri terkait upacara pernikahan adat Lampung, (3) kepedulian terhadap budaya masih belum membudaya, diperlukan metode dan bahan ajar yang tepat untuk dijadikan solusi.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine how prospective teachers view the post-Covid-19 learning process and how various variables (Optimization of Learning, Optimization of Student Participation) affect post-Covid-19 pandemic learning conducted with IT-based Teaching and Learning Activities. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is the method used for data analysis in this study to analyze the data obtained after withdrawing data. This study involved Accounting Education students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, vulnerable class of 2018-2022 where these students experienced the learning process during the pandemic and post-pandemic. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to students online. The results showed that based on the views of prospective teacher students that learning optimization factors, optimizing student participation can positively and significantly influence IT-based Teaching and Learning Activities at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Google Forms for assignment submission in post-pandemic learning at public and private junior high schools. It is a qualitative study conducted through a non-experimental survey to explore students' perceptions from both public and private schools using several methods, including questionnaires, observation, and document analysis. The objectives of this study are to understand students' preferences regarding assignment submission methods, identify the advantages and disadvantages of Google Forms as a learning tool in enhancing student engagement and comprehension, and develop recommendations for educators and school institutions on optimizing the use of Google Forms as an educational medium. The subjects of this research are students from Public JHS 20 Surakarta and Private JHS Islam Program Khusus Muhammadiyah Delanggu Klaten. The results indicate that students prefer submitting assignments offline or in person, suggesting that the offline method is perceived as more effective than using Google Forms for assignment submission

Abstract

A positive learning environment is an important factor in improving student motivation and achievement. This study aims to analyze the influence of the learning environment, both physical and social, on student motivation and achievement at SD GMIT Airnona 2 Kupang City. Using a quantitative approach with a census design, all 88 students in grades 4–6 were used as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that a comfortable learning environment, positive social interactions, and teacher support contributed significantly to improving student motivation and achievement. These findings underline the need for improved facilities, teaching innovation, and parental involvement to create an optimal learning environment.

Abstract

Supervisi dalam konteks pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan supervisi di SD Lazuardi Tursina, Banyuwangi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian melibatkan supervisor atau kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi memiliki dampak positif terhadap profesionalisme guru, pengembangan diri, dan implementasi metode pembelajaran inovatif. Supervisor berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang membantu guru menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan. Kolaborasi antara supervisor dan guru menjadi kunci dalam mencapai kualitas pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami kompleksitas peran supervisi dalam mendukung pendidikan yang adaptif, progresif, dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

This study investigates how government assistance, family income, and local culture jointly influence economic welfare in Sumbawa Regency, Indonesia. Moving beyond “isolated variable” analysis, this study develops an integrated framework to address policy gaps where social protection outcomes often fall short despite major investments. It extends “welfare state theory” by incorporating cultural dimensions that are typically overlooked in conventional economic models. Using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were gathered from 201 randomly selected respondents among government aid recipients. Results show significant positive effects: government assistance (β = 0.342, p < 0.01), family income (β = 0.458, p < 0.001), and local culture (β = 0.231, p < 0.05). The model demonstrates strong explanatory power (R² = 0.687) and predictive relevance (Q² = 0.524). Findings reveal that family income remains the strongest welfare determinant, while effective government aid requires proper targeting and allocation. Significantly, local practices like gotong royong (mutual assistance) strengthen social cohesion, validating culture's role as an active economic determinant. This study contributes to Islamic economics literature by demonstrating how local cultural practices aligned with Islamic principles of ta'āwun (cooperation) and maslahah (public interest) enhance welfare outcomes in Muslim-majority contexts where Islamic values shape economic behavior. The research proposes practical recommendations for “culturally-sensitive” assistance programs that integrate Islamic social finance instruments (zakat and waqf) with income enhancement strategies and cultural capital development. its also emphasizes establishing monitoring systems that track both welfare indicators and cultural sustainability. These findings offer replicable frameworks for welfare policy design in developing countries where cultural and religious dimensions fundamentally influence development outcomes.
