Abstract

This study aims to construct a substantive theory of agribusiness and productive waqf diversification as a sustainable financing strategy for Islamic educational institutions. The research is grounded in the fact that many Islamic schools and pesantren still depend heavily on a single funding source, such as student tuition, which creates financial vulnerability and limits institutional innovation. Although agribusiness and productive waqf have been discussed as alternative funding schemes, few studies have explained in depth how Islamic values shape the economic and managerial practices that sustain educational financing. Using a qualitative Grounded Theory approach, this study explores the social processes and meanings constructed by educational stakeholders through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis at a waqf-based school operating a productive agribusiness unit. Data were analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding to identify core categories and develop a conceptual model of value-based sustainable financing. The findings reveal that Islamic values such as amanah (trust), barakah (divine blessing), and productive waqf management serve as the moral foundation guiding the institution’s financial behavior. Agribusiness and waqf diversification not only strengthen financial resilience but also function as entrepreneurial learning media and instruments of spiritual character formation. The study develops the “Value-Based Agribusiness and Productive Waqf Diversification Model”, which integrates moral, social, and managerial dimensions as a theoretical basis for sustainable Islamic educational financing. Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of fostering entrepreneurial intention among vocational high school students as an effort to prepare graduates who are not only ready to work but also capable of creating business opportunities. However, entrepreneurial intention among Grade XI MPLB students has not been evenly developed, so it is necessary to examine the factors that influence it. This study aimed to analyze the effect of self-efficacy, creativity, and learning environment on entrepreneurial intention among Grade XI MPLB students at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consisted of 72 Grade XI MPLB students, all of whom were used as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and then analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS. The results showed that self-efficacy, creativity, and learning environment had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Creativity was the most dominant variable with a path coefficient of 0.427, followed by learning environment with 0.424, and self-efficacy with 0.285. The R-square value of 0.555 indicated that these three variables were able to explain 55.5% of the variance in entrepreneurial intention. Thus, improving entrepreneurial intention among Grade XI MPLB students can be achieved through strengthening creativity, enhancing self-confidence, and creating a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Purpose – This study analyzes the character education values embedded in the Mundong Dance choreographed by Christina Sri Asih Handayani at Sanggar Seni Solah Bawa, Sukoharjo Regency, and examines how those values can function as an arts-based medium for character formation. The study focuses on the dance accompaniment, movement, function, and meaning, and the character values these dimensions convey. Design/Methodology/Approach – The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a single instrumental case-study design. Data were gathered through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with four purposively selected key informants (the choreographer, the accompaniment composer, a studio trainer, and the studio owner), and documentation. Data were analyzed following the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing), with Lickona’s tripartite framework of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action used as the analytical lens. Trustworthiness was established through source and technique triangulation, member checking, and an audit trail. Findings – The analysis identifies four interrelated character education values in the Mundong Dance—skill, religiosity, cooperation, and simplicity—each of which can be traced across Lickona’s moral knowing, feeling, and action components. The findings indicate that a structured and continuous arts-learning process at the studio mediates the internalization of these values, positioning the dance as more than entertainment. Originality/Value – The study contributes an explicit, framework-based mapping of how a locally rooted creative dance operationalizes character education, offering a transferable arts-based pedagogical model relevant beyond its immediate cultural setting.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of secondary education financing policy through School Operational Assistance (BOS) and Regional Education Operational Assistance (BOPD) programs and their impact on access and quality at SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. The research employs a qualitative approach with instrumental case study design, utilizing in-depth interviews with key informants including school principals, finance vice-principals, teachers, and school committee representatives. Data analysis uses thematic analysis with inductive approach to identify patterns and themes related to policy implementation effectiveness. The findings reveal that financing policy implementation achieves 100% coverage for all public schools with National School Principal Numbers (NPSN), successfully eliminating financial barriers through the abolition of Monthly Student Fees (IBPD). The policy demonstrates transformative impact on educational access, particularly for students from economically disadvantaged families, supporting the 13-Year Compulsory Education program and equity principles. Strong positive correlation exists between adequate financing and educational quality achievement, with infrastructure and facilities identified as priority components for allocation. Strategic recommendations include reallocating book purchases from 10% to 5% and increasing infrastructure maintenance allocation from 20% to 25%, implementing priority-based financing model integrated with education quality report cards for enhanced policy effectiveness.

Abstract

Analysis of the Main Character's Inner Conflict in the Novel Wanita Metakil aims to identify the factors that give rise to inner conflict as well as the problem-solving strategies employed by the main character in accordance with the narrative structure of Wanita Metakil by Trijana PR. This study employs a literary psychology approach, a gender perspective, and literary function theory employing a descriptive qualitative approach. Information was gathered via textual examination and the documentation of conversations. supported by theoretical triangulation encompassing Freud’s psychoanalysis, Coser’s conflict theory, and Todorov’s structuralism. The findings indicate that the main character’s inner conflict emerges from a complex interaction of internal and external factors, social norms, and gender constructions within Javanese society. These conflicts are manifested in tensions between personal desires and social responsibilities, resulting in psychological pressure and moral dilemmas. Conflict resolution is achieved through coping strategies in the form of cognitive restructuring and emotional regulation. This study enhances the understanding of the interrelationship between character psychology, social norms, and gender dynamics in Javanese literary works. Keywords: inner conflict, literary psychology, gender   ABSTRAK Analisis psikologis batin tokoh utama novel Wanita Metakil bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan munculnya konflik batin serta strategi penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan tokoh utama sesuai dengan alur cerita dalam novel Wanita Metakil karya Trijana PR. Abstract

Javanese script is often considered a "bogeyman" or a frightening subject for elementary school students, one of which is for students of SDN Jombor 01, Sukoharjo. This is due to several factors, including the lack of student interest and technical difficulties in distinguishing similar character shapes as well as the educational background of the class teacher in teaching Javanese. The main objective of this activity is to increase student interest in learning, facilitate mastery of reading and writing techniques, and eliminate negative perceptions through pictorial media. Students are expected to no longer view Javanese script as ancient material, but rather as a skill that is still relevant to modern technology. The implementation method is carried out in stages including: (1) Socialization to change mindsets; and (2) Training using pictorial media and niteni techniques (comparing similar letters). The "learning through play" approach is integrated throughout the process to maintain student enthusiasm. The targeted output of this program is an illustrated "Prasaja Javanese Script Quartet Card" with different colors as the background. "Java is Easy". The urgency of this community service activity lies in the importance of transforming learning methods to facilitate memorization through a visual approach as an effort to preserve cultural heritage amidst the rapid flow of technology.
