Abstract

This study examines the implementation of customer-driven excellence strategy in the Umrah travel industry in Depok City by investigating the relationships between service quality, brand credibility, perceived value, and customer-driven excellence outcomes. Using a quantitative research approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 105 customers who have utilized Umrah travel services within the past two years. The measurement model demonstrated excellent reliability and validity, with all constructs meeting stringent psychometric criteria for convergent and discriminant validity. The structural model reveals that all three hypotheses are strongly supported, with brand credibility emerging as the most influential factor (β = 0.398, p < 0.001), followed by perceived value (β = 0.356, p < 0.001) and service quality (β = 0.285, p < 0.001). The integrated model explains 74.2% of variance in customer-driven excellence, demonstrating strong explanatory power and large predictive relevance (Q² = 0.486). These findings provide empirical evidence that successful customer-driven excellence strategy requires integrated approaches prioritizing brand credibility development while simultaneously enhancing perceived value and service quality. The study offers valuable insights for Umrah travel operators seeking to optimize competitive advantage through comprehensive customer excellence strategies that address both functional and emotional dimensions of religious tourism services.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to disentangle the effects of investing-related knowledge, investment motivation, required starting capital, and perceived risk. In 2019, 453 full-time students and employees enrolled in the Management Study Program participated in this study. This study used a non-probabilistic sampling method called purposive sampling, in which a predetermined set of criteria had to be met in order for the sample of 212 students to be selected. The data in this study was gathered by distributing questionnaires to students using data collection tools. Data analysis techniques such as the use of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software, version 23.0, for descriptive and inferential statistics based on multiple linear regression. Statistically significant positive effects of motivation, minimum capital, and perception of risk on investment interest were found in this study. This study also found a positive effect of investing knowledge on investment interest, although the effect was not statistically significant.

Abstract

This article focuses on reproductive health education and prevention of early marriage among adolescents, especially 9th grade junior high school students. Given the high rate of early marriage that has a negative impact on the health and future of adolescents, this program aims to increase adolescent knowledge about the importance of reproductive health and the risks associated with early marriage. Adolescence is a phase of human development that occurs between childhood and adulthood, usually ranging from 10 to 19 years of age. However, this age limit can vary depending on cultural and social contexts. Characteristics of adolescents such as Physical Development, Adolescents experience significant physical growth, including hormonal changes that affect body growth, sexual development, and appearance. Cognitive Development In this phase, adolescents begin to develop the ability to think abstractly, make decisions, and understand the consequences of their actions. Sometimes teenagers also Teenagers often face various challenges, including pressure to excel in school, mental health problems, promiscuity, and the risk of risky behavior such as drug use and premarital sex. Until early marriage occurs, Early marriage is a marriage that occurs to individuals who are still under the legal age for marriage, which is usually determined by law in each country. In many places, early marriage often occurs in teenage girls under the age of 18. so to reduce the risk of early marriage we as students provide counseling on this matter. Counseling activities are carried out using interactive methods involving presentations, discussions, and the use of visual media such as power points, videos, and images to facilitate understanding of abstract concepts. The results of the activity showed that the participants were very enthusiastic, with many questions asked and a significant increase in knowledge after participating in the counseling. However, there were several obstacles faced, such as the lack of focus of some participants which may be caused by individual factors and environmental conditions. This program is expected to have a positive impact on efforts to prevent early marriage and increase adolescent awareness of reproductive health. In addition, this report also includes details of the budget and implementing team involved in the activity, as well as recommendations for future program development.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Content-Based Instruction (CBI) in enhancing Maritime English proficiency among cadets at Sorong Merchant Marine Polytechnic. A quantitative approach was used, employing pre-test and post-test evaluations, along with a questionnaire to assess cadets’ language development and perceptions. The study involved 24 fourth-semester cadets in the Nautical Studies program. Results showed a significant improvement in Maritime English proficiency, with average test scores increasing from 69.7 (pre-test) to 95.7 (post-test), demonstrating a substantial 26-point improvement. Statistical analysis (paired t-test, p < 0.05) confirmed the significance of this improvement. The questionnaire results indicated that cadets viewed the CBI approach as highly effective, with an average satisfaction score of 4.5 out of 5. This research highlights the success of CBI in bridging the gap between language acquisition and real-world maritime contexts, suggesting it could serve as a valuable model for Maritime English instruction in similar educational settings. The findings support the integration of CBI into maritime curricula to better prepare cadets for the linguistic and operational demands of the global maritime industry.

Abstract

The importance of parents knowing good parenting for the development and growth of a child, especially in the formation of early childhood character. Because in the formation of a child's character, the first person who provides character education for their child is the parent. With the development of the times, the parenting pattern of parents towards children has decreased and decreased, most parents are busy with work so that they cannot accompany the growth and development of their children optimally. In addition, many parents do not understand about parenting, how to raise children well, which is in accordance with religious values and socio-moral values of life, most parents see that children, after entering adolescence, are considered capable of managing and taking care of their own lives so that many children have bad relationships due to lack of parental control in the growth and development of children and character education of children. Based on these problems, a work program on Good Parenting was planned which was held in the Jayamulya Village Hall. The purpose of implementing the program is to provide information and further direction for the Community and parents on how to educate children based on character education with and efforts to implement character education programs for children. Provide insight into great parents with character. Activities are carried out using the caramah method and discussion. In the implementation of this activity, it was delivered through a Seminar, where the implementation brought in experienced speakers who had broad insights related to character education. The target in the work program is the Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) group. Abstract

The wake effect is an aerodynamic interaction between turbines in a wind farm, where wind flow is blocked by turbines ahead, leading to a total power loss of 10-25%. The wake effect can be controlled by adjusting the yaw-offset angle, pitch angle, tip-speed ratio, or a combination of these strategies. This research aims to compare and determine the most effective control strategy to maximize total wind farm power production. The method involves analyzing and simulating various control strategies to reduce the wake effect. A Gaussian wake-effect model is used to simulate wind flow patterns, turbine interactions, and total wind farm power. Data is generated from simulations under wind speeds of 3 m/s and 10 m/s, and turbine spacing of 7D and 12D. Results show that total wind farm power production increased by 11.41%, 2.21%, 0.00%, and 12.70% for yaw-offset angle, pitch angle, tip-speed ratio, and a combination of the three, respectively. The study identifies the combination of these parameters as the most effective strategy for reducing the wake effect. Proper wake-effect control can significantly boost total wind farm power production, with broader potential applications for commercial wind farms in the future.
