Abstract

Background: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on child growth and development and the future quality of human resources. Karanganyar Village in Pekalongan Regency is recorded as one of the areas with the highest prevalence of stunting, thus requiring the active role of Posyandu cadres in toddler screening activities to detect and address stunting early. Purpose: To identify the role of Posyandu cadres in toddler stunting screening activities as part of efforts to accelerate stunting reduction. Method: This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of 5 active cadres as primary informants, 2 health workers as supporting informants, and 10 mothers of toddlers as triangulation informants. Sampling techniques used purposive and accidental sampling. Results: Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) cadres play a role in basic health services, early detection of nutritional disorders, and recording and reporting toddler growth data. Despite obstacles such as limited measuring instruments, minimal training, and a lack of incentives, cadres continue to demonstrate a high level of commitment to their duties. Conclusion: The role of cadres in toddler stunting screening activities significantly impacts the success of stunting reduction programs. However, this success requires ongoing training, logistical support, and an adequate incentive system. Suggestion:  The role of cadres is needed through policies that provide technical, structural, and social support so they can optimally and sustainably carry out their functions in stunting prevention efforts. Keywords: Posyandu cadres; Stunting; Toddler screening Pendahuluan: Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang berdampak jangka panjang terhadap tumbuh kembang anak dan masa depan kualitas sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to implement a TB control program at the Wiradesa Community Health Center based on Pekalongan Regency Regulation No. 5 of 2018. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model approach. Data collection techniques were through in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Context aspect was in accordance with regulations, but still faced challenges of social stigma and an unsupportive environment. In the Input aspect, trained human resources and adequate facilities were available, but limited cadres, employee rotation, limited funds, and a lack of modern detection tools were obstacles. The Process aspect showed data-based and cross-sectoral planning, but its implementation was hampered by the workload of officers, low patient awareness, and geographical constraints. Monitoring was carried out routinely every 3 months despite a lack of supervisors. The Product aspect showed fluctuating CDR and treatment success rates that had not yet reached the national target, and the detection of suspected TB tended to decrease. In conclusion, although regulations and commitments were in place, the program required strengthening human resources, diagnostic tools, anti-stigma socialization, cross-sectoral work, and adaptive funding support to achieve TB elimination. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Posyandu in increasing mothers' awareness of balanced nutrition in Rowosari Village. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 13 informants, consisting of 4 mothers of young children, 8 Posyandu cadres, and 1 midwife. The results of the thematic analysis based on role theory revealed five main indicators: role expectations, role performance, role pressures, role support, and evaluation-innovation. The findings indicate that Posyandu plays a crucial role as a center for community nutrition information and education; however, it faces challenges such as low mother participation, limited Posyandu cadres, insufficient training, and inflexible education schedules. Nevertheless, the cadres demonstrated initiative through practice-based educational innovations and digital approaches. This study emphasizes that the effectiveness of Posyandu is highly dependent on cross-sectoral support, cadre capacity, and contextual and interactive educational approaches.

Abstract

Islamic fintech in Indonesia has grown rapidly, offering services such as peer-to-peer lending and crowdfunding aimed at meeting the needs of MSMEs. However, in Wonopringgo there remains a gap in terms of limited understanding and supporting infrastructure. This study seeks to explore the potential integration of Islamic fintech in supporting MSME growth in Wonopringgo, while also identifying the challenges and solutions required. The research applies a qualitative exploratory approach, using primary data from interviews with fintech practitioners and secondary data from journals and related literature. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model and SWOT approach. Findings show that MSMEs often face difficulties accessing conventional financing due to collateral requirements and lengthy processes. Islamic fintech emerges as an alternative through sharia principles, unsecured capital, micro-financing, and flexible payment systems. With strong partnerships between fintechs, local institutions, and government, integration could enhance the performance of MSMEs in Wonopringgo.
