Abstract

The Belaniakan tradition is an ancient Sasak culture that until the time of Tetan was preserved by the Masbagek community. This research aims to determine the perception and participation of the Masbagek community in the bukakkan martial arts tradition. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The informant selection technique is purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that the Masbagek community's perception of the shopping tradition is positive towards the shopping tradition. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan kolaborasi model case method dan story telling dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XII IPS 2 di SMAN 3 Selong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung selama 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa dan guru sosiologi kelas XII IPS 2. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kolaborasi model case method dan story telling terlaksana sebesar 74% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 92% melebihi indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 85%. Hal ini berdampak pada tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 62% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 83% melampaui indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 75% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 75. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kolaborasi model case method dan story telling dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XII IPS 2 di SMAN 3 Selong.

Abstract

Parenting is a process where the children obtain the socialization pertaining to the implementation of norms and values that later on will formulate their personality in maintaining the lifestyle. Thus, the parenting is expected to bring the very positive contribution to children development, good parenting is be bound to the good influence of children pursuing their lifestyle. In fact, teens are pretty much swayed by the modern era that leads to the high life style. A teenager especially student is actually influenced by not only the family but also the peers, school and other environments. It leads to the very high possibility of them to adopt the lifestyle that served within the circumstances. The aim of this research is to employ the amount of influences of the parenting toward the student’s lifestyle of senior high school laboratorium percontohan UPI. This research utilizes the qualitative approach with description method and use the questionnaire as the primer data source. The technique for analyzing data, the research employs the Weight Means Score (WMS). the results shows that the parenting having by the student is categorized as good with the lifestyle also within the level of appropriate and in line with the norms and value. Statistically, the research found that the influence of parenting toward the student life style is 20.5% and environment contributed for the rest.

Abstract

Early childhood marriage is a serious problem in West Nusa Tenggara, especially in East Lombok, with the incidence rate continuing to increase despite local regulations prohibiting it. The main factors that cause early marriage include low motivation to go to school, psychological conditions, and the economic conditions of parents who force children to marry young. Local cultures such as merariq kodek also reinforce this practice, where early childhood is seen as ready for marriage. The service activity was carried out through 2 stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage of the activity on July 8, 2024, attended by 50 teenagers in Keranji Hamlet, Paremas Village, Jerowaru District. The counseling carried out by the service team from the Sociology Education Study Program, University of Mataram succeeded in increasing the awareness of the younger generation about the dangers of early marriage and the importance of education as the key to a better future. The results of the discussion also showed a change in positive attitudes, with participants unequivocally rejecting early marriage and agreeing to prioritize education. Efforts to educate and increase access to education need to continue to be strengthened as the main foundation to reduce the rate of early childhood marriage and form a quality generation in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the Think pair share learning model in class XI IPS 3 at MAN 1 Mataram. This research uses classroom action research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The stages of this research were carried out through initial observation, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this classroom action research were students of class XI IPS 3 MAN 1 Mataram, while the informants in the research were sociology subject teachers. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the level of students' problem solving abilities was (69%), asking questions (71%), and the teacher's application of the Think Pair Share model (75%). Furthermore, cycle II showed the level of problem solving ability (79%), asking ability (80%), and the teacher's application of the think pair share model (90%).

Abstract

Tim pengabdian melakukan kegiatan pengabdian bertempat di SDN 15 Ampenan, sebuah sekolah dasar negeri di Pulau Lombok, dengan tema pemanfaatan lahan tidak termanfaatkan di pekarangan sekolah. Kegiatan ini meliputi empat kegiatan yaitu observasi, koordinasi, sosialisasi dan pendampingan penanaman tanaman hortikultura dan tanaman obat. Tahap pertama yaitu observasi dan koordinasi yang dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2024. Permasalahan yang mendasar dalam pengembangan budidaya pekarangan adalah lokasi lahan sebagai calon lokasi penanaman sedikit ternaungi oleh bangunan kelas dan tembok. Tanaman yang sesuai dengan kondisi lahan yang telah dibersihkan secara bergotong royong setelah survey pendahuluan adalah tanaman kangkung darat, tomat, cabai, terung bulat dan terung Panjang, lengkuas, lidah buaya serta jahe. Setelah tim pelaksana menginisiasi pemanfaatan lahan dalam budidaya tanaman hortikultura, diperoleh hasil berupa pendampingan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sekolah berjalan dengan baik. Selain sebagai wadah pembelajaran proses tumbuh kembang tanaman, kegiatan ini jika diterapkan di rumah-rumah siswa diharapkan lebih lanjut dapat menjamin ketahanan pangan bagi keluarganya. Dukungan berkala ini harus dilakukan secara berkesinambungan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral untuk memberikan dukungan, menumbuhkan komitmen, dan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia di bidang terkait.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum merupakan bagian untuk meningkatkan sistem pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Pengembangan dan pembaruan kurikulum pendidikan sangat penting dan perlu dilakukan. Kurikulum pendidikan bersifat dinamis, kurikulum harus menyesuaikan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik sesuai dengan masanya. Perubahan kurikulum dengan demikian menjadi keniscayaan. Perkembangan IPTEKS yang sangat cepat menuntut kurikulum harus disesuaikan. Pada saat ini Indonesia sedang mengimplementasikan kurikulum baru yaitu Kurikulum Merdeka. Pada pelaksanaanya banyak guru yang masih kurang paham dalam pengimplementasiannya terutama pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan pengabdian pada masyarakat dengan topik Penguatan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). Teknik yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi beberapa tahapan diantaranya: persiapan dilakukan dengan koordinasi kepada mitra pengabdian pada masyarakat. Selanjutnya pelaksanaan yang berisi pelatihan tentang penguatan implementasi kurikulum merdeka bagi guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP Sosiologi. Tahap akhir yaitu evaluasi dan pelaporan. Evaluasi untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan yang akan dijadikan dasar ketercapaian tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penyusunan laporan tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Pada abad ke-21, berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk lingkungan sekolah, menghadapi tantangan seperti bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses internalisasi dan bentuk keterampilan abad ke-21 berbasis nilai-nilai multikultural dalam mencegah bullying di sekolah. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik digunakan, dengan data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi keterampilan abad ke-21 berbasis multikultural dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran, pembentukan kelompok heterogen untuk menanamkan toleransi, serta penanaman sikap saling menghargai dalam komunikasi. Keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti critical thinking dikembangkan melalui proyek dan pemecahan masalah, creativity difasilitasi dengan kesempatan yang setara dalam berprestasi, collaboration diperkuat melalui kerja kelompok, dan communication ditumbuhkan dengan memberikan ruang bagi siswa menyampaikan pendapat. Internalizasi keterampilan ini meningkatkan toleransi dan empati, yang berkontribusi dalam meminimalisir bullying di sekolah.

Abstract

Bullying is a problematic case in the school environment, and usually this bullying action is carried out by peers, which involves physical and psychological violence. This action occurs because of the urge to achieve and maintain a high social status among peers. The impact of bullying can range from physical to psychological disorders. There are several policies related to anti-bullying, but this cannot minimize the cases that have occurred. Apart from policies, preventive efforts also need to be carried out and implemented to prevent bullying behavior, one of which is through instilling multicultural values ​​in high school students in Mataram City. Therefore, we initiated this empowerment activity through the socialization of multicultural values ​​as a form of preventive effort to minimize bullying among students in high schools. This service activity is carried out through socialization with direct discussions starting with material presentations, questions and answers, discussions and evaluations. The results of the questionnaire before the service was carried out showed that only 31.8% of students in Mataram City high schools knew about bullying, while 68.2% of students did not know the forms of bullying. Regarding understanding of multiculturalism, the percentage of high school students in Mataram City who know about it is only 50.1%, while the remaining 49.9% do not know about multiculturalism. Apart from that, 100% of students at Mataram City High School have never participated in socialization on multicultural values, and as many as 59.1% of students have never participated in socialization related to bullying, while 40.9% of students have participated in socialization regarding bullying prevention. After community service and outreach, students' understanding increased, especially regarding bullying and multiculturalism, apart from that, 83.3% of students already knew and understood the impact of bullying and were very ready to implement multicultural attitudes and values ​​to prevent bullying in the school environment.
