Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the main issues in education in Indonesia and propose sustainable solutions so that education policymakers, stakeholders, and academics can increase their awareness and knowledge of the education conflict. This paper systematically reviews the literature on educational conflicts in Indonesia from 2000 to 2021. The journals used as the main reference in this study are quality journals indexed by Scopus. The literature sources were obtained from a trusted institution called Taylor Francis Online. This institution is located in the UK and is a well-known multinational company publishing books and academic journals. Several issues are found in the literature, but the crucial issues that are most often discussed and need serious attention in the literature are the limited number of skilled teachers, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of learning materials, high cost of education, low quality of education, and the minority of disabled groups.

Abstract

Abstract: Steganography is a field of science that studies the technique of hiding information in digital media to protect data from third-party detection ketiga (Atawneh et al., 2013; Michaylov & Sarmah, 2024; Sitompul et al., 2018). This article reviews steganography through three philosophical perspectives: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. Ontologically, steganography explains the existence of hidden information in host media and its interactions. Epistemology plays a role in the process of developing and validating knowledge related to hiding and detection techniques. Meanwhile, axiology highlights the ethical benefits and risks, including the use to protect privacy and the potential for misuse in cybercrime. Steganography, with this comprehensive understanding, plays an important role in data security and information technology.Keywords: Steganography, Ontology, Epistemology, and AxiologyAbstrak: Steganografi adalah bidang ilmu yang mempelajari teknik penyembunyian informasi di dalam media digital untuk melindungi data dari deteksi pihak ketiga (Atawneh et al., 2013; Michaylov & Sarmah, 2024; Sitompul et al., 2018). Artikel ini meninjau steganografi melalui tiga perspektif filosofis: ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Secara ontologis, steganografi menjelaskan keberadaan informasi tersembunyi dalam media host dan interaksinya. Epistemologi berperan dalam proses pengembangan dan validasi pengetahuan terkait teknik penyembunyian dan deteksi. Sementara itu, aksiologi menyoroti manfaat dan risiko etis, termasuk penggunaan untuk melindungi privasi dan potensi penyalahgunaan dalam kejahatan siber. Abstract

This research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the implementation of the outdoor study method on the learning outcomes of Christian religious education and character education for class X odd semester students at SMA Negeri 1 Tampahan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive and significant influence from the implementation of the outdoor study method on the learning outcomes of Christian religious education and character education for class X odd semester students at SMA Negeri 1 Tampahan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive statistics. The population of this study was 40 people so it is called population research. The instruments in this research were a closed questionnaire for variable X and a multiple choice written test for variable Y. There is a positive and significant influence of the implementation of the outdoor study method on the learning outcomes of Christian religious education and character education for class X odd semester students at SMA Negeri 1 Tampahan for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely rcount > rtable (0463>0.312), tcount > ttable (3.220 > 2.021), Y ̂="56.22"+0.38X, r2 = 21.4%. So the hypothesis test states that Ha is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence of the implementation of the outdoor study method on the learning outcomes of Christian religious education and character education for class X odd semester students at SMA Negeri 1 Tampahan for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The problems in this research are: 1) what are the variations in teaching of Christian Religious Education teachers in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/2024, 2) what is the learning motivation of class VIII students in the Christian Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/ 2024, 3) Is there a positive and significant relationship between variations in teacher teaching and the learning motivation of class VIII students in the Christian Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/2024?. The aims of this research are 1) to determine the variations in teaching of Christian Religious Education teachers in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/2024, 2) to determine the learning motivation of class VIII students in the Christian Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/2024 , 3) to determine the relationship between teacher teaching variations and the learning motivation of class VIII students in the Christian Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Harian T.A 2023/2024. This research includes correlational research. The population in this study was all 30 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Harian. Data collection in this research was carried out using a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation formula and t-test. a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.595 rtable (a=0.05; IK=95%; n=30) namely 0.361, thus a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) a significant relationship test was obtained The value of tcount > ttable is 3.918 > 2.048, thus it can be seen that there is a significant relationship between variable Christian Religious Education at SMP Negeri 2 Harian FY 2023/2024. acceptable.

Abstract

The development of technology today has grown very rapidly, this is marked by the birth of remote sensing technology. In order to maximize data visualization services, the Batu Bara district agriculture and plantation office has successfully implemented the WebGIS application. The data displayed on the WebGIS is data on agricultural tools and machinery, district boundaries, irrigation boundaries, rice field boundaries, farm roads, and district roads. All data can be displayed well on Google Maps-based WebGIS. The data is displayed based on the coordinate points in the database. There are 5 stages in this study, namely, literature study, data collection, data normalization and analysis, visualization, and implementation. The data can be accessed publicly, as a service to the community so that the community can find out and get more transparent information. This is one of the innovations of the Batu Bara district agriculture and plantation office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PAK teacher's professional competence on the learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP N 1 STTU Julu in the 2023/2024 Learning Year. The research hypothesis is that there is an influence of PAK teacher's professional competence on the learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP N 1 STTU Julu in the 2023/2024 Learning Year. The study population was all VIII grade students of SMP N 1 STTU Julu as many as 44 people, because the subjects in this study were less than 100 so this study was a population study. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 20 items prepared by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire test was conducted on 32 class VIII students at Pakpak Kirana GKPPD Foundation SMPTK using 20 questionnaire items and after being tested the results of the validity of the questionnaire test were known to the value of rcount> table = 0.395-0.715> 0.349 there are 20 questionnaire items that can be used as research instruments. And the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.877. has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence between the influence of the professional competence of PAK teachers on the learning outcomes of students in class VIII of SMP N 1 STTU Julu Learning Year 2023/2024. With the relationship test obtained rcount> rtable, namely 0.329>0.297, with a significant relationship test tcount> ttable, namely 2.391>2.021 the coefficient of determination is 10.82%. This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This study suggests that teachers should always improve their professional competence as a PAK Teacher, so that the learning outcomes of Class VIII students of SMP N 1 STTU Julu Learning Year 2023/2024 will be better.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the importance of a growth mindset in Christian religious education as an effort to improve the quality of student learning. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using several stages such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that education has an important role in developing children's intelligence, mindset and personality. Christian religious education teachers have the responsibility to develop students' mindsets through implementing a Growth Mindset and appropriate teaching strategies. This research concludes that developing a Growth Mindset can help students achieve better academic success and personal development. By having a growth mindset, students see challenges as opportunities to learn and develop and do not respond to them as obstacles. By having a growth mindset, students also have more self-confidence. Based on the research results, it is recommended that Christian religious education teachers continue to strengthen the application of the Growth Mindset in their teaching. In addition, further research can be conducted to observe the effectiveness of the teaching strategies used in developing a Growth Mindset in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of giving reinforcement on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan in the 2023/2024 Learning Year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of all VIII graders at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan totaling 110 people with a sample of 44 people. Data were collected with a questionnaire of 35 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to theory. The questionnaire test was conducted on 30 students in the same place, namely SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan, the questionnaire of variable x was tested and it was found that all items were valid. With the validity test rcount (0.40 - 0.69) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.883190. The results of the validity of the questionnaire test of variable y with the validity test rcount (0.38 - 0.78) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.8558508.

Abstract

The research aims to determine how much influence the application of the Active Learning learning model has on the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education for class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong Learning Year 2023/2024. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence of the Active Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education for class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. Quantitative research method using a Pre-Experimental Design approach in the form of a One Shot Case Study. The population of all class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 109 people. The purposive sampling system was 32 people. The research instrument is a closed number and posttest. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.369>r(table(a=0.05,n=32))=0.349 and tcount=2.172 >t(table(a=0.05,dk=n -2=30))=2.042 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Active Learning learning model and students' Christian Religious Education learning outcomes. b) Regression equation Ŷ = 65.81 + 0.17X. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 13.6%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=4.575 > Ftable=1.62 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the Active Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education for class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR), adalah teknologi dengan konsep menggabungkan dimensi dunia nyata dengan dimensi dunia maya yang di tampilkan secara realtime. Smartphone memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi Augmented Reality dengan murah serta dapat diakses oleh banyak pengguna. Augmented Reality dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai bidang salah satunya adalah sebagai sarana pendidikan untuk anak–anak.Augmented Reality dapat digunakan untuk menciptakan sebuah lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dimana anak–anak dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan objek dunia maya sehingga anak–anak pun dapat bermain sambil belajar. Augmented Reality yang ditujukan kepada para guru dan orang tua sebagai alat pembelajaran untuk anak–anak usia dini. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan Unity sebagai media pembuatan desainnya dan Vuforia SDK sebagai penyimpanan database markernya yang nanti nya saling berhubungandan berbasis Android. Aplikasi pengenalan jenis buah-buahan berbasis Augmented Reality dapat membaca marker pada kertas cetakan maupun kartu–kartu pengenalan jenis buah-buahan yang akan menampilkan model 3 dimensi di layar perangkat Android.
