Abstract

The Society 5.0 era has given rise to new citizenship challenges in the digital space, such as hoaxes, polarization of public opinion, hate speech, and low civic literacy. Civic education needs to transform from a theoretical approach to contextual, critical, and digital-based learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of issue-based civic education learning integrated with digital media in improving students' civic literacy in the era of Society 5.0. This approach places contemporary socio-political issues as the learning context that allows students to analyze real cases, test citizenship concepts reflectively, and formulate responsible civic attitudes and actions. The use of digital media strengthens this process by providing actual information sources, collaborative discussion spaces, and interactive media that encourage critical thinking and information literacy skills. The results of the study show that the integration of current issues and digital media has the potential to improve students' civic literacy, especially in terms of understanding citizenship issues, critical analysis skills, and awareness and responsibility in socio-political participation. Thus, this learning model is relevant to the character of Society 5.0 as a pedagogical innovation to strengthen civic competencies that are adaptive to the dynamics of digital society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran digital berbasis Pendidikan Pancasila dengan tema "Mematuhi Norma" serta menguji kelayakan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII di MTs Alkhairat Lobu Gio. Menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner validasi ahli, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa modul digital ini dikategorikan "Sangat Layak" berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan media. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keaktifan belajar siswa, yang dibuktikan dengan kenaikan rerata skor partisipasi kelas dari sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah tersedianya sumber belajar mandiri yang adaptif terhadap karakteristik siswa generasi Z. Nilai orisinalitas penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi nilai-nilai norma lokal ke dalam struktur modul digital yang interaktif untuk mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di tingkat madrasah.   Kata Kunci: Keaktifan Belajar; Modul Pembelajaran Digital; Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media Pop-Up Book digital berbasis kearifan lokal Sulawesi Tengah terhadap proses belajar siswa kelas IVA pada mata pelajaran IPS di SDN Inpres Lolu Sigi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek satu orang guru dan 24 siswa kelas IVA. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Pop-Up Book digital mampu meningkatkan perhatian, motivasi, dan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Media ini juga mempermudah pemahaman konsep IPS, khususnya materi keberagaman sosial budaya. Faktor keberhasilan pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi guru dalam mengelola media, antusiasme siswa, kualitas desain media, serta ketersediaan sarana seperti proyektor dan Chromebook. Kendala yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan perangkat dan ketergantungan pada sumber listrik. Secara keseluruhan, media Pop-Up Book digital berbasis kearifan lokal terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Kata kunci: Pop-Up Book digital, kearifan lokal, IPS, proses belajar, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Previous studies on the Kayori Ceremony of the Pendau Tribe have tended to focus on linguistic and literary analysis, leaving a research gap in the perspective of Civic Education. This study aims to fill this gap by exploring the cultural values within the Kayori Ceremony and its unique contribution to the formation of civic culture in Siweli Village. Using a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with 8 informants (traditional leaders, village officials, and youth), and documentation. The novelty of this research reveals that the Kayori Ceremony is not merely a mystical ritual but also functions as a "social laboratory" that internalizes the values of cooperation, religiosity, and social harmony as the foundation of local civic culture. Preservation challenges include internal factors, such as traditional leaders' commitment, as well as external factors, such as modernization. Efforts to preserve it through value transmission to the younger generation represent a form of civic responsibility. This study concludes that the internalization of Kayori strengthens civic identity and social integration within the framework of local wisdom, aligning with the pillars of Pancasila democracy.

Abstract

Self-confidence is the courage to do something good according to your knowledge and abilities. such as being able to solve problems well and having the courage to appear in public. This research seeks to (1) characterize the lack of self-confidence among students taking citizenship education, (2) explain how 4C skills are applied to increase students' self-confidence at MTs Alkhairaat Bobalo, and (3) identify the factors. which facilitate or hinder the application of 4C skills to develop students' self-confidence. A qualitative approach and descriptive research design were used as research methodology. MTs Alkhairaat Bobalo applies 4C skills in the following way, according to research findings: MTs Alkhairaat Bobalo's efforts to increase self-confident character through the use of 4C skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity are integrated into 4C skills. learning process. When students are not ready to learn and time is limited, the effective application of 4C skills at MTs Alkhairaat Bobalo is hampered. One way to help students develop the 4C skills of critical thinking, is to get them used to sharing their thoughts and encouraging questions. However, sometimes, students still struggle with shyness or fear of thinking or asking questions. Students' communication skills in conveying their ideas quickly and clearly are still relatively low. Collaboration, sometimes occurs during group assignments where they can explore their abilities together with their group friends but some of the students themselves cannot work together well. Creative, students can develop the skills they have but usually they cannot develop the skills they have. (3) The obstacles in implementing 4C skills at MTs Alkhairaat Bobalo towards self-confidence are two factors, namely internal factors, when students are not ready to learn and very long distances. As well as external factors, namely the facilities and infrastructure that the school has.

Abstract

The development of 21st-century education requires students to possess not only academic competencies but also collaborative skills, which have become essential in the learning process. However, preliminary observations at SMP Negeri 23 Sigi revealed that eighth-grade students' collaboration skills in Social Studies learning were still relatively low. This condition was indicated by limited student participation in group discussions, minimal interaction among students, and the suboptimal use of learning media that could encourage active engagement. Therefore, technology-based learning media such as Wordwall are considered a promising alternative for creating a more interactive, engaging, and collaborative learning environment. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of education-based Wordwall media in improving eighth-grade students’ collaboration skills in Social Studies learning at SMP Negeri 23 Sigi, to examine students’ collaboration skills during the learning process, and to describe the integration of Wordwall media into Social Studies instruction. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The research participants consisted of Social Studies teachers and eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 23 Sigi. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the use of educational-based Wordwall media was effective in enhancing students’ collaboration skills. Students became more actively involved in discussions, demonstrated productive teamwork, respected their peers’ opinions, shared responsibilities, and showed improvements in communication and group decision-making skills. Furthermore, the integration of Wordwall created a more enjoyable and interactive learning environment, encouraging optimal student engagement in Social Studies. The implications of this study suggest that Wordwall can serve as an effective digital learning medium to support the development of students’ collaboration skills and improve the quality of Social Studies instruction in schools.
