Abstract

Di era digital yang semakin terhubung, kesadaran akan pentingnya privasi data menjadi aspek krusial yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini, khususnya kepada siswa sekolah dasar yang merupakan pengguna aktif teknologi namun masih minim pemahaman terhadap risiko digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesadaran siswa terhadap privasi data pribadi, menggambarkan perilaku digital mereka, serta mengidentifikasi faktor- faktor yang memengaruhi kesadaran tersebut di UPT SD Negeri 9 Tanrutedong. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara terhadap siswa kelas IV–VI, guru, serta orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah mengenali bentuk- bentuk data pribadi seperti nama, alamat, dan foto, namun masih kesulitan dalam membedakan informasi yang boleh dan tidak boleh dibagikan. Simulasi interaktif dan diskusi kasus berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa untuk lebih berhati-hati saat menggunakan perangkat digital. Faktor pendukung utama berasal dari pendampingan guru dan orang tua, sementara keterbatasan pemahaman serta lemahnya regulasi penggunaan teknologi di sekolah menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Kesimpulannya, meskipun kesadaran privasi data di kalangan siswa mulai tumbuh, dibutuhkan edukasi berkelanjutan dan sinergi antara sekolah dan keluarga untuk menciptakan budaya digital yang aman dan bertanggung jawab sejak usia dasar.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and the digitalization of banking services have significantly transformed the delivery of financial products, particularly through digital banking platforms. While digital banking offers efficiency and convenience, it also gives rise to legal issues related to consumer protection, especially concerning the imposition of hidden fees through misleading advertising practices. Hidden fees are costs that are not transparently disclosed to consumers at the initial stage of product promotion, causing consumers to make financial decisions based on incomplete or inaccurate information. In the context of banking law, such practices raise serious legal concerns regarding transparency, fairness, and the accountability of banks toward consumers. The Indonesian legal framework has incorporated consumer protection principles, including the obligation of transparency, good faith, and prohibition of misleading advertising in banking services. However, regulatory arrangements specifically governing hidden fees in digital banking advertisements remain fragmented and lack explicit enforcement mechanisms, potentially leading to legal uncertainty and consumer vulnerability. This study aims to analyze the legal protection afforded to consumers against hidden fees arising from misleading advertising practices in the digital banking sector. The research employs a normative legal method using statutory and conceptual approaches by examining banking regulations, consumer protection laws, and legal doctrines related to transparency and liability. The findings indicate that banks may be held legally liable when hidden fees result from misleading advertisements, insufficient disclosure of costs, or violations of the principles of transparency and good faith. Therefore, clearer and more comprehensive legal regulation is necessary to strengthen consumer protection and ensure legal certainty in digital banking practices.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menjadi sangat penting bagi anak usia dini di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Maryam di Desa Kanna dalam membentuk karakter moral anak melalui Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) bertema Pendidikan Karakter dan Literasi Generasi Emas. Dengan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TPA Maryam berhasil menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti kedisiplinan, empati, sopan santun, dan kejujuran melalui kegiatan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, hafalan surat pendek dan doa harian, praktik ibadah, serta kegiatan penunjang. Keberhasilan ini diperkuat oleh dukungan orang tua, masyarakat, dan pemerintah desa. Terjadi perubahan sikap positif pada anak-anak, seperti meningkatnya kesadaran beribadah dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa TPA tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat belajar membaca Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga sebagai wadah efektif pembentukan karakter moral untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of job placement, work environment, and leadership on job satisfaction and performance, both directly and indirectly, as well as to examine the influence of job satisfaction on personnel performance. Methodology/approach: This study predominantly uses primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 46 respondents, namely personnel from the Riau Regional Police Public Relations Division. It was conducted using the SEM model with the SmartPLS program. Results/findings: Job placement has no effect on job satisfaction, while work environment and leadership have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Job placement and leadership have no significant direct effect on performance, while work environment has a significant direct effect on performance. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance. Job placement has no effect on performance through job satisfaction. Conclusions: Findings indicate that work environment and leadership significantly increase job satisfaction, which in turn positively impacts employee performance. Job placement, however, does not show a significant direct or indirect effect on performance through job satisfaction. Contribution: The contribution of this research is to connect the media with the police and its role as a conveyor of information to the public through the mass media. Limitation: This study was only conducted at one agency, namely the Riau Regional Police Public Relations Division, so the results cannot be generalized to other agencies, either within the police force in other regions or non-police organizations.

Abstract

This management is a result of community service, a 2022 research project that will be incorporated into community service at Malang National Vocational School. This involves installing sprinkler pipes and nozzles based on the distance and height of the existing plants, using flexible pipes. Because the park is located near a basketball court, the flexible pipes were replaced with permanent pipes for safety. Because our partners are still using manual irrigation, we will be developing an automated system, namely sprinkler irrigation. Surface irrigation is implemented in Indonesia because agricultural land used to have abundant water, while currently, the amount is decreasing. An irrigation system that increases the effectiveness and efficiency of water use is one solution needed to maintain land productivity, one of which is a sprinkler irrigation system. Sprinkler irrigation systems are generally applied to crops with high economic value. This includes determining the layout design of the sprinkler irrigation network, the required capacity of the sprinkler irrigation network, and the appropriate pump type for planning the sprinkler irrigation system. Based on the results of community service activities carried out at SMK Nasional Malang, namely sprinkler irrigation in the park, which produces results, namely the efficiency of garden irrigation water and makes it easier for users, it can be concluded that: the level of user enthusiasm is very high, this is realized by coming to the location on time with a very strong motivation to gain some understanding and insight related to Sprinkler irrigation. The evaluation results show that the increase in air efficiency is very good, namely 50%.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the professional capacity of teachers through mastery of modern educational technologies. The implementation of this program is based on several issues identified within the partner institution, including teachers’ limited understanding of artificial intelligence, their low ability to integrate coding into learning activities, and the suboptimal use of digital tools and media in the classroom. These challenges contribute to students’ low digital literacy and the insufficient application of project-based learning that aligns with current technological developments. The training program was designed to strengthen teachers’ competencies in implementing AI-based coding instruction through participatory approaches and hands-on practice. The learning modules were developed contextually to meet the specific needs of the partner school, enabling teachers to adapt them easily into their teaching practices. The results of the program indicate significant improvements in teachers’ understanding of fundamental AI concepts, their ability to integrate coding into the learning process, and their capacity to apply digital technologies ethically and effectively. Enhanced student engagement was also observed, as learners became more enthusiastic and active in participating in project-based learning activities involving AI applications. Although the program faced several limitations, such as inadequate technological equipment and limited implementation time, it has established a strong foundation for the development of more structured and sustainable follow-up activities. Overall, the outcomes demonstrate that strengthening teachers’ competencies in artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in fostering an innovative digital learning ecosystem aligned with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Self efficacy dalam literasi informasi bagi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta sangat penting di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil self efficacy dalam literasi informasi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta di era digital. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantatif. Populasi yang digunakan mahasiswa Pendidikan biologi perguruan tinggi swasta di Jawa Timur. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara random sampling dengan N=613. Instrumen menggunakan rubrik self efficacy dalam literasi informasi. Pengukuran instrumen menggunakan skala linkert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah rerata pada 3 (tiga) perguruan tinggi swasta 59,2. Kesimpulan secara umum rerata profil self efficacy dalam literasi mahasiswa masih rendah. Saran perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran berbasis digital pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

The urgency of this research arises from intensifying competition among law faculties and study programs in South Sulawesi, which demands a clear strategic positioning and distinctive profile for each program. This study aims to analyze the distinctiveness of law study programs in several universities in South Sulawesi by employing a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) approach to identify internal and external factors influencing their competitiveness and differentiation. Using a qualitative descriptive design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and an extensive review of institutional and policy documents. The findings indicate that program differentiation can be systematically developed through market needs analysis and benchmarking, the formulation of visions and missions grounded in institutional core values, and curriculum development aligned with each university’s core business and regional characteristics. The strengths of the examined law programs include lecturer competence, relatively adaptive curricula, and networking with local legal and governmental stakeholders, while weaknesses are evident in limited facilities, constrained research resources, and insufficiently structured internship schemes. Opportunities are created by the high demand for qualified legal professionals and the dynamic evolution of national regulations, whereas major threats stem from intense inter-program competition and shifting higher education policies. The novelty of this study lies in its SWOT-based comparative mapping of multiple law study programs within a single geographic region, simultaneously identifying their substantive differentiation. The research contributes strategic recommendations for enhancing program competitiveness by strengthening flagship academic offerings, expanding collaboration with legal institutions, and optimizing internal resources to improve academic quality and competitive positioning at regional and national levels.

Abstract

Abstrak: Forum Komunikasi Pengembangan Makla (FKPM) menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan data STM dan pemakaman yang masih berbasis manual, sehingga menyebabkan keterlambatan dan rendahnya akurasi informasi. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengurus FKPM dalam pengelolaan data STM dan pemakaman melalui pelatihan pembuatan file Excel menjadi file CSV, yang kemudian digunakan dalam aplikasi manajemen berbasis cloud. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan, dengan 25 peserta dari pengurus FKPM dan STM. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 96,17% dan keterampilan sebesar 92,86% dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi berbasis cloud. Implementasi teknologi ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data serta transparansi informasi kepada masyarakat, yang berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan kualitas layanan administrasi pemakaman.Abstract: The Forum Komunikasi Pengembangan Makla (FKPM) faced challenges in managing STM and cemetery data manually, leading to delays and inaccurate information. This service program aimed to enhance FKPM administrators' abilities in data management by training them on converting Excel files into CSV, which are then used in a cloud-based management application. The method involved socialization, training, and mentoring, with 25 participants from FKPM and STM administrators. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-activity questionnaires. The results showed a 96.17% increase in knowledge and a 92.86% improvement in skills in using cloud-based information technology. This implementation successfully improved data management efficiency and transparency, significantly contributing to the enhancement of cemetery administration services.

Abstract

Human physiology is a core subject in nursing education, providing essential knowledge for understanding the human body and applying this knowledge in clinical practice. Despite its importance, many nursing students face difficulties in mastering complex physiological concepts, leading to gaps between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Addressing these challenges is crucial to ensure that future nurses are adequately prepared to deliver safe and effective patient care. This study aimed to evaluate nursing students’ understanding of human physiology concepts in basic biomedical science education and to explore differences based on gender and semester level. A descriptive cross-sectional design was conducted with 50 nursing students from the second and fourth semesters at Famika University. Data were collected using a validated 25-item multiple-choice physiology test. Content validity was reviewed by experts, and a pilot test yielded a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.82, confirming good reliability. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 with descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and chi-square tests, applying a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that second-semester students achieved higher comprehension scores (77.75%, Good) than fourth-semester students (68%, Fair). Male students also performed better (81.25%, Good) compared to female students (74.52%, Fair). These findings suggest that variations in students’ understanding may be influenced by academic workload, prior learning experiences, and learning motivation. Strengthening physiology education through active learning strategies and better integration of biomedical science content into the nursing curriculum is therefore recommended.
