Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program wajib baca dalam membangun budaya literasi di SD Negeri 1 Gelgel. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program wajib baca telah diterapkan secara konsisten dan berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung kegiatan literasi. Program ini meningkatkan minat baca dan kemampuan literasi siswa, serta memperkuat karakter disiplin dan percaya diri. Namun, tantangan tetap ada, seperti keterbatasan bahan bacaan dan perbedaan minat baca siswa. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan penyediaan bahan bacaan yang lebih beragam, pelatihan guru dalam strategi literasi efektif, dan keterlibatan aktif orang tua. Program ini menjadi contoh baik praktik literasi yang terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan literasi dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas 2 di SD Negeri 3 Duda Timur. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif strategi pembelajaran literasi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa di kelas 2 di SD Negeri 3 Duda Timur. Rendahnya tingkat literasi di Indonesia, khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar, menjadi latar belakang perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan minat baca siswa sejak dini. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 di SD Negeri 3 Duda Timur, dan metode pengumpulan data kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Siswa mulai menjadi lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelas, lebih antusias dalam memilih dan membaca buku, dan mulai menunjukkan kebiasaan membaca secara mandiri. Metode ini tidak hanya meningkatkan minat baca siswa, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi mereka. Lingkungan belajar menjadi lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan, dan guru membantu siswa belajar secara lebih kreatif dan individu. Oleh karena itu, strategi literasi ini terbukti berhasil dalam menciptakan budaya membaca yang positif dan berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh program Literasi Pagi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas tinggi di SDN 5 Tonja. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap lima siswa serta satu wali kelas yang aktif terlibat dalam kegiatan literasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Literasi Pagi memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat baca, keterampilan memahami bacaan, serta kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tulisan siswa. Sebanyak 88% siswa menyatakan senang mengikuti kegiatan ini, dan 85% menunjukkan ketertarikan membaca buku baru secara mandiri. Perbedaan kemampuan membaca juga tampak jelas antara siswa yang aktif dan yang kurang aktif mengikuti program, di mana siswa aktif menunjukkan pemahaman bacaan yang lebih baik serta peningkatan dalam aspek kosa kata dan penyampaian gagasan. Selain itu, kegiatan Literasi Pagi turut mendukung keberhasilan siswa dalam pembelajaran lainnya, khususnya mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, melalui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman teks. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Literasi Pagi tidak hanya menumbuhkan kebiasaan membaca, tetapi juga membangun budaya literasi yang menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan baik di sekolah maupun di rumah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 4 Tembuku dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share yang mengintegrasikan analisis cerita rakyat Nusantara sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Think-Pair-Share dapat meningkatkan keterampilan diskusi siswa, yang meliputi kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan jelas, menyampaikan ide secara terstruktur, serta mendengarkan pendapat orang lain. Selain itu, penggunaan cerita rakyat Nusantara sebagai media pembelajaran menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, relevan, dan bermakna. Cerita rakyat tidak hanya melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, tetapi juga memperkenalkan nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar pendekatan ini diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, berpikir kritis, dan kolaborasi di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari atas permasalahan kurangnya media pembelajaran sebagai sumber belajar dalam menguatkan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada siswa di sekolah dasar. Lukisan wayang kamasan sebagai salah satu kearifan lokal di Provinsi Bali khususnya di Kabupaten Klungkung belum banyak digunakan sebagai salah satu media dalam pembelajaran terkait dengan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila yang sedang gencar-gencarnya diupayakan terkait dengan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun inovasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal lukisan wayang Kamasan untuk menguatkan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Denpasar, 2) untuk mengetahui validitas inovasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal lukisan wayang Kamasan untuk menguatkan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Denpasar, 3) untuk mengetahui efektivitas inovasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal lukisan wayang Kamasan untuk menguatkan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Denpasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation dan evaluate). Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan subjek penelitian teknik quota random sampling dengan jumlah sekolah sebanyak 24 sekolah dasar di Kota Denpasar. Hasil penilaian ahli isi pembelajaran sebesar 92,19% (sangat baik), hasil penilaian ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 90% (sangat baik), hasil penilaian ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 96% (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba perorangan sebesar 89,88% (baik), hasil uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 93,85% (sangat baik), hasil uji coba lapangan sebesar 92,19% (sangat baik). Hasil uji efektivitas memperoleh nilai thitung = 43,352 sedangkan ttabel = 2,069. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berupa lukisan wayang kamasan efektif diterapkan dalam menguatkan profil pelajar Pancasila di SD.

Abstract

The writing skills of third-grade elementary school students are still low. This is due to the use of conventional teaching methods and the lack of digital media in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of serial image media based on the Picture and Picture model in improving the writing skills of third-grade students. The study employed the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The methods and instruments used for data collection included interviews, observations, questionnaires, and essay tests. The research subjects consisted of 11 third-grade students. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative, quantitative, and inferential descriptions. The results of the dependent sample t-test showed a tcount value of 4.86, while the ttable value at a 5% significance level with degrees of freedom (11 – 1) = 10 was 1.795. These results indicate that tcount (4.86) > ttable (1.795), thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the serial image media based on the Picture and Picture model is effective in improving the writing skills of third-grade students and is suitable for use in learning narrative text material in the Indonesian language subject. The implication of this study is that the serial image media encourages students to be more active in discussing, composing stories, and developing their understanding both independently and in groups.

Abstract

Changing learning activities from online to offline has several difficulties, where if children learn at home or are held online it is rather difficult to get children to concentrate. In addition, the lack of innovative learning media affects student learning outcomes. This study was conducted with the aim of developing an audio-visual learning video on the theme of culture, as well as analyzing the feasibility and effectiveness of audio-visual learning videos on the theme of culture to stimulate the language development of kindergarten children. The product was tested by 3 expert lecturers and 15 students. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. Development research uses data collection methods with questionnaires and uses observation questionnaires (non-test). Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the study found that the design of audio-visual learning videos received very good qualifications, the feasibility test of learning videos showed the results of learning videos developed were very feasible to use in learning, and the effectiveness of learning videos based on t-tests, where the hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that learning videos are effectively applied to early childhood in kindergarten.

Abstract

The low problem-solving ability of students in understanding economic activity concepts, along with the lack of relevance between the material and real-life contexts, poses a challenge in teaching Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at the elementary school level. To address this issue, this study developed a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based instructional video that connects the material with local wisdom. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, involving 38 fourth-grade elementary students, subject matter experts, design experts, and instructional media experts. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, student comprehension tests, and observations. The data analysis techniques used included quantitative descriptive analysis to assess media validity and a t-test to measure its effectiveness. The results showed that the PBL-based instructional video had a very high level of validity, with an average rating above 90%. Furthermore, the t-test results indicated a significant difference between students’ pre-test and post-test scores (tvalue = 9.620 > ttable = 1.687), demonstrating its effectiveness in improving students’ problem-solving skills. In conclusion, the integration of PBL with instructional video has proven to be an innovative solution in IPAS learning, helping students understand economic concepts through real-life contexts and local wisdom, as well as enhancing their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The lack of student learning motivation during the learning process caused by the lack of enthusiasm of students when learning is still low. One of the factors that cause the lack of student learning motivation is the use of learning models that are less varied. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) learning model assisted by interactive multimedia on beginning reading skills in Indonesian language in grade I elementary school students. Quasi-experiment research, with a nonequivalent pos-test only control group design with a research population of 211 grade I elementary school students. This research data collection method uses observation. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). The results of the t-test analysis obtained a t-count value equal to 8.205 and t-table 1.672. Based on the calculation of the t-test obtained t_count more than t_table so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is a significant effect on the application of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) model assisted by interactive multimedia on beginning reading skills in Indonesian Language in grade I elementary school students. The implication of this research is that the application of the SQ4R model assisted by interactive multimedia increases motivation and has a significant impact on the beginning reading skills of grade I elementary school students.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of elementary school students in Indonesian language subjects remain a persistent issue, primarily due to the continued use of conventional teaching methods that emphasize rote learning and teacher-centered instruction. This approach limits students' active participation, inhibits critical thinking development, and reduces their motivation for independent learning. To address this challenge, this study investigates the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive PowerPoint media in enhancing students’ cognitive understanding. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample consists of 55 fifth-grade students, divided into an experimental group taught using PBL assisted by interactive PowerPoint media and a control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected using multiple-choice objective tests and analyzed through descriptive statistics and t-tests to compare learning outcomes between the two groups. The results reveal a statistically significant improvement in students' cognitive knowledge competence in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings demonstrate that integrating PBL with interactive power point media is an effective strategy to enhance students’ cognitive understanding and learning motivation. The study underscores the importance of adopting innovative and student-centered teaching models to improve cognitive learning outcomes in Indonesian language education at the elementary level.
