Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi karena rendahnya penggunaan bahan ajar digital serta kurang inovatif dalam pemberian materi saat proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Hal ini berdampak pada kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar dan berpengaruh pada hasil belajar yang rendah. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan model Hannafin and Peck yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan utama (penilaian kebutuhan, desain, serta pengembangan dan implementasi). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu metode kuesioner dan tes. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian secara berurutan dari ahli isi mata pelajaran, ahli desain, ahli media, uji perorangan, kelompok kecil dan lapangan, yaitu 98,00%, 94,00%, 94,66%, 98,00%, 98,22%, dan 97,36%. Hasil uji efektivitas melalui posstest memperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e-book pada hasil belajar Siswa. Jadi E-Book berbasis pendekatan kontekstual layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the research trends and implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in improving various aspects of child development, the challenges of its implementation, and the direction of future research in the context of digital education for early childhood. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, with a bibliometric mapping approach and content analysis. A total of 17 articles were selected from the Scopus and DOAJ database in the period 2019–2024 for further analysis. The research findings show that the use of AR significantly enhances the learning experience to be more interactive, contextual, and enjoyable for children. In addition, AR has proven effective in conveying abstract concepts visually and helping to reinforce practical values such as financial responsibility from an early age. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, access to technology, uneven teacher training, and excessive dependence on technology are major obstacles to the widespread implementation of AR. The implications of this study highlight the importance of increasing technological support in educational institutions, developing AR applications that are aligned with the curriculum, and continuous teacher training. Thus, AR has great potential as an innovative medium in early childhood education, as long as it is balanced with the right implementation strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms of misconceptions in chemistry learning, the methods/instruments used to detect these misconceptions, and effective instructional strategies to address them through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review was conducted on 24 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025, obtained from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases (via Publish or Perish). Article selection was carried out in stages following the PRISMA flow, and the results were analyzed using a thematic content analysis approach. The review findings indicate that the topics most frequently associated with misconceptions are chemical bonding, acid-base concepts, chemical equilibrium, and reaction rates. The most commonly used instruments to identify misconceptions are three-tier diagnostic tests, followed by interviews and two-tier tests. Effective instructional strategies include the use of multiple representations, digital simulations, the 5E model, inquiry-based learning, and educational games. The study also revealed several research gaps, such as the lack of longitudinal studies, limited topic coverage in chemistry, and the underutilization of interactive digital technologies. Therefore, the development of innovative learning approaches and technology-based conceptual assessments is necessary to sustainably reduce misconceptions in chemistry learning.

Abstract

Education is a pivotal pillar in modern society, and technology has brought about major changes in how students learn. Online learning is becoming an increasingly popular form of education, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out. However, the challenge of maintaining student engagement and motivation in online learning environments remains a concern for many educators. This is where the concept of gamification erupts as an innovative solution to this problem. This study aimed to examine the effect of case- and project-based gamification models on student engagement and academic achievement in online learning in tertiary institutions. Quasi-experimental post-test only non-equivalent control group design was chosen as the method of this research. The subjects of this study were 117 students from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The instrument used to measure student engagement was a questionnaire developed by researchers with reference to the online student engagement (OSE) indicator; meanwhile, an objective test was to assess student academic achievement. The data were analyzed using a one-way multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) technique. The study results show significant differences in student engagement and academic achievement between groups of students taught using case and project-based gamification models and direct e-learning models. Case and project-based gamification models used in online learning were effective in increasing student engagement and student academic achievement.

Abstract

Using e-learning in higher education has many important benefits and advantages in todays world of education. Therefore, this research aims to develop e-learning based on the introduction, connection, application, reflection, extend (ICARE) learning model for developing teaching materials courses in the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The Hannafin and Peck development model was adopted as a foundational method, and the digital content developed was subjected to formative evaluation methods, including i) expert validation, ii) individual assessment, and iii) small group evaluation. To ascertain the quality of the developed content, the research engaged 3 expert evaluators, each specializing in media, instructional design, and content. Concurrently, individual evaluation was carried out with 3 students, followed by a small group evaluation involving 9 additional students. Data collection techniques involved both observational measures and questionnaire-based inquiries. The expert assessment showed that the design, media, and content dimensions all fell within the "very good" category. Student reactions, as measured through both individual and small group evaluations, consistently aligned with the "very good" category. Therefore, the attractiveness and practicality of electronic learning (e-learning) fell under the "very good" classification, due to the implementation of the ICARE learning model as the foundational design principle.

Abstract

Online learning is a growing trend in education during the corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the difficulties that online majors in non-English languages have when attempting to acquire English. The subject of this study involved using the questionnaire method for as many as 412 students and interviewing 15 students with a total of 17 questions. The results of this study indicate that there are several challenges faced by students during online learning; i) less familiarity with online learning as shown by 31% of students agreeing that online learning is a new learning method, ii) psychologically 30% of students choose strongly agree that they have limited opportunities to interact directly and freely with lecturers as well as with students, iii) limited facilities and infrastructure as much as 28% agree that the budget is limited to get quota or internet credit, and iv) limited internet access as many as 35% of students do not have good internet coverage to take online lectures. The findings of this study should be a reference for English lecturers to continue learning to innovate in providing online English learning by considering the existing challenges.

Abstract

General Background: Discovery learning has emerged as a pivotal instructional model aligned with 21st-century educational demands. Specific Background: Despite its recognized potential, comprehensive syntheses of its effectiveness, implementation patterns, and challenges remain limited. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies tend to explore discovery learning in isolated contexts without offering systematic insights across educational levels and recent developments. Aims: This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA framework to examine 18 peer-reviewed articles published from 2020 to 2024, aiming to explore (1) the predominant educational level applying discovery learning, (2) its impact on learning outcomes, (3) the model's effectiveness, and (4) challenges in its implementation. Results: The analysis reveals that discovery learning is most widely implemented at the junior secondary (SMP) level. It consistently enhances students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking, motivation, and academic performance. Novelty: This study uniquely synthesizes multi-year empirical evidence to highlight the adaptability and constraints of discovery learning across modalities, including technology-assisted instruction. Implications: Findings underscore the importance of targeted teacher training and infrastructure development to optimize implementation. This synthesis informs educators and policymakers of strategic directions for embedding discovery learning in modern pedagogical frameworks. Abstract

The 2016-2020 Strategic Plan of BPK RI necessitates audits to be conducted to advance people's welfare to the greatest extent possible as a reflection of the growing maturity of BPK RI as an accountability organization. This would require BPK RI to be able to examine and evaluate whether the government's development programs under RPJMN have achieved the desired outcomes or impact of increasing people's welfare. This paper aimed to find a practical approach to enhance BPK RI's audit design in order to be able to contribute to the optimization of people's welfare as required under the new vision of Renstra 2016- 2020. The authors use their experience on the recent formulation of BPK RI's Audit Policy 2016- 2020 (Kebijakan Pemeriksaan 2016-2020), in which the authors are actively involved. The authors also use reviews of existing audit design and study on the relevant theoretical and academic literature that provide the overarching study framework. The study concluded that BPK audits should be designed toward national development programs in RPJMN 2015-2019 which correlate directly with or possessing great leverage in the achievement of welfare indicators. AbstrakRenstra BPK 2016-2020 mensyaratkan pemeriksaan-pemeriksaan BPK dilaksanakan sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat mendorong terwujudnya pembangunan untuk sebesar-besar kemakmuran rakyat sebagai refleksi dari peningkatan kematangan BPK. Pemeriksaan BPK diharapkan mampu menilai dan mengevaluasi apakah program-program pembangunan yang didesain atau ditetapkan dalam RPJMN telah mencapai outcome maupun dampak yang diinginkan yaitu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mencari pendekatan praktis untuk memperkuat desain audit BPK agar dapat berperan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat seperti yang disyaratkan dalam Rentstra 2016-2020. Penulis menggunakan pengalaman profesional dalam membangun formula Kebijakan Pemeriksaan BPK 2016-2020, dimana penulis terlibat aktif dalam penyusunannya. Selain itu penulis juga menggunakan reviu atas desain audit yang ada saat ini serta studi literatur dalam sebagai bahan analisa studi. Hasil studi menyimpulkan bahwa pemeriksaan BPK seharusnya di desain untuk sesuai dengan RPJMN2015-2019 yang berhubungan langsung dengan indikator kesejahteraan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran podcast adalah suatu bentuk kegiatan belajar yang menggunakan rekaman audio digital sebagai media utama untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat digital. Gaya belajar merupakan suatu kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang dalam memahami proses pembelajaran. Gaya belajar terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu gaya belajar auditori, kinestetik dan visual. Pemanfaatan podcast dalam proses belajar mengajar menyimpan permasalahan yang dihadapkan dengan gaya belajar siswa yang beragam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis media pembelajaran podcast berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Systematic Literature Review dengan pengumpulan data dan mendokumentasikan artikel terkait pada penelitian serupa. Artikel yang dapat digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 15 artikel jurnal nasional yang diperoleh dari database Google Scholar yang terbit dari tahun 2020 sampai tahun 2025. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, jurnal paling banyak terbit di tahun 2022, metode penelitian paling banyak menggunakan model ADDIE, jenjang pendidikan paling banyak pada jenjang SMA dan mata pelajaran paling banyak pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dampak dari penelitian ini untuk pengembangan teori tentang kecocokan media pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar, kemudian memberikan rekomendasi kepada guru dan pengembang konten pembelajaran bahwa podcast sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Transformasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut integrasi pendekatan inovatif seperti flipped classroom dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Namun, sejauh mana integrasi kedua pendekatan ini dikaji dalam penelitian ilmiah masih belum terpetakan secara sistematis. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren dan kolaborasi penelitian terkait integrasi flipped classroom dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik. Data diperoleh dari basis data Dimensions.ai untuk periode 2021–2025 dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi VOSviewer. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan publikasi signifikan sejak 2023, dengan dominasi pada jenjang SMA dan mata pelajaran sains. Kata kunci yang sering muncul menunjukkan fokus pada pengembangan media, Kurikulum Merdeka, dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Kolaborasi penulis cenderung terbatas pada wilayah geografis tertentu, dengan institusi di Indonesia mendominasi kontribusi. Pendekatan penelitian yang paling sering digunakan adalah research and development, dengan enam kluster utama berhasil diidentifikasi. Meskipun demikian, integrasi antara flipped classroom dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi masih belum optimal. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi akademis dalam bentuk pemetaan kesenjangan metodologis, kontekstual, integratif, evaluatif, dan implementatif, yang dapat menjadi dasar bagi arah pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya.
