Abstract

The growth of MSMEs in Gorontalo Province plays a significant role in driving the regional economy, yet challenges in utilizing digital marketing strategies remain a major obstacle to optimizing business performance. On the other hand, customer satisfaction is a key factor that can strengthen the relationship between marketing strategies and business outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing strategies on MSME business performance in Gorontalo with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 52 purposively selected MSME respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that digital marketing strategies have a direct and significant effect on business performance with a T-statistic value of 2.003 and a P-value of 0.045. Customer satisfaction also has a direct and significant effect on business performance with a T-statistic of 5.699 and a P-value of 0.000. Furthermore, the mediation analysis reveals that customer satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between digital marketing strategy and business performance (T-statistic = 5.232; P-value = 0.000). These findings highlight the critical role of customer satisfaction in enhancing the effectiveness of digital marketing. Therefore, MSME actors are encouraged to focus not only on technical aspects of digital marketing but also on service quality and customer satisfaction in a comprehensive manner.

Abstract

The phenomenon of digital transformation has significantly reshaped the operational landscape of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. However, many MSMEs have struggled to adopt digital technology effectively due to limitations in human resources and weak leadership during change management. This study aims to explore the role of adaptive leadership in managing human resources during the digitalization of MSMEs using a qualitative approach based on a narrative review. Data were synthesized from relevant national and international literature published within the last five years. The findings reveal that adaptive leadership plays a critical role in creating a flexible work environment, fostering organizational learning, and reducing resistance to digital change. Adaptive leaders not only formulate strategies but also promote human capital development through participatory training and cultural transformation. These insights emphasize that the success of MSME digitalization depends not only on technological readiness but also on leadership quality capable of navigating uncertainty with a reflective and collaborative approach. This study contributes conceptually to leadership theory development within the digital MSME context and offers a basis for designing MSME empowerment policies rooted in leadership capacity building.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan arsip pemerintahan merupakan bagian integral dari reformasi birokrasi. Aplikasi SRIKANDI (Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis Terintegrasi) hadir sebagai solusi nasional untuk memperkuat efisiensi, transparansi, dan keamanan dokumen pemerintahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi SRIKANDI di Bappeda Litbang Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dengan menyoroti persepsi dan respon pegawai terhadap aplikasi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan dualitas respon: sebagian pegawai mengapresiasi percepatan proses surat dinas, sementara yang lain menunjukkan resistensi karena alur birokrasi yang dianggap kompleks. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan kapasitas SDM, penyederhanaan prosedur digital, dan sosialisasi berkelanjutan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman implementasi teknologi informasi dalam sektor publik, khususnya pada manajemen kearsipan di tingkat daerah.
