Abstract

Abstract

Research on the influence of the principal's leadership, work climate, and work motivation on the performance of high school education personnel in Malinau Regency aims to find out: 1) The influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of education personnel in Malinau. 2) The effect of the work climate on the performance of education personnel in Malinau. 3) The effect of work motivation on education personnel in Malinau. 4) The influence of the principal's leadership, work climate and work motivation together on the performance of education personnel in Malinau. This research uses correlational through a quantitative approach. The population in this study is all high school education personnel in Malinau Regency, consisting of civil servants and non-civil servants. The sample in this study amounted to 34 people taken using total sampling. The instrument used is using a closed questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are independent ttests and simple linear regression. The research results show that: (1) There was an influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of high school education personnel with a contribution of 75.4%. (2) There was an influence of the work climate on the performance of high school education personnel with a contribution of 84%. (3) There was an influence of work motivation on the performance of high school education personnel with a contribution of 81.2%. (4) There was an influence of the principal's leadership, work climate and work motivation together on the performance of high school education personnel with a contribution of 85.7%.

Abstract

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in spatial geometry through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in grade VI of SD Islam Terpadu Baiturrahman Buntok, South Barito. The study was conducted in two cycles, each of which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects consisted of 27 students. The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes, where only 40% of students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with an average score of 62, below the standard of 70. Learning that is still teacher-centered and the lack of use of contextual problems are contributing factors. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed an increase in student activity from 66.66% in cycle I to 74.07% in cycle II. Learning outcomes also increased from 71.76% in cycle I to 83.33% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the application of PBL is effective in improving student learning outcomes and activity in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Locomotor skills are fundamental components of motor development among elementary school students, particularly for students with motor impairments who often experience difficulties in coordination, step regularity, and movement balance. This study aimed to improve step regularity and locomotor movement balance through the implementation of footprint marker media based on the Direct Instruction model among fourth-grade elementary school students with motor impairments. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research participants were two fourth-grade students with motor impairments at SDN 009 Rantau Pulung. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed a gradual improvement in students’ locomotor abilities from the pre-cycle stage to Cycle II. The use of footprint marker media provided visual stimuli that helped students understand stepping patterns and movement directions, while the Direct Instruction model supported learning through demonstration, guided practice, immediate feedback, and gradual reduction of assistance. The findings indicate that the integration of footprint marker media and Direct Instruction effectively improved step regularity, movement balance, and independence among students with motor impairments. This study provides practical implications for the development of adaptive physical education learning that is more concrete, systematic, and inclusive.
