Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri Lasoani. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study sample consisted of 18 students. Data collection methods included interviews, tests, and documentation. The analysis involved prerequisite tests, such as the normality test, and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-test with IBM SPSS Statistics version 23. The findings indicated that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, supported by Wordwall media, significantly influenced student learning outcomes. This was confirmed through hypothesis testing with a significant value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, thus leading to the acceptance of Ha and rejection of Ho. This result demonstrates that the PBL model with Wordwall media positively impacts student learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model with Wordwall media is effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri Lasoani. This study underscores the effectiveness of combining PBL with interactive media like Wordwall to boost student engagement and improve critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. It also highlights the role of technology in education, making learning more engaging and accessible. Future studies could examine the use of other media in PBL and its effect on learning outcomes in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Despite the fact that Islamic banking has developed significantly to date, business activities and the risks associated with operating financial institutions cannot be separated. When Islamic banking functions as a financial intermediary for Indonesian businesses, there will always be risks. Risk management can measure and mitigate risks to find solutions to problems. At Bank Syariah Indonesia, the implementation of risk management is going well. The implementation of risk management is generally divided into 8, namely: credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, operational risk, legal risk, compliance risk, reputation risk, strategic risk. The following is the implementation of good risk management: Risk management governance must go through internal control processes and risk management processes. Therefore, Banks must identify and manage risk management inherent in every banking system activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen lingkungan belajar dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 1 Lakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen lingkungan belajar memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap semangat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, aman, dan tertata dengan baik mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Namun demikian, manajemen lingkungan belajar di SDN 1 Lakuan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, minimnya teknologi pembelajaran, dan kerusakan atau kehilangan alat peraga. Meskipun buku pelajaran tersedia, jumlahnya belum mencukupi untuk seluruh siswa. Kondisi ini berdampak pada efektivitas pembelajaran dan tingkat motivasi siswa. Dukungan dari kepala sekolah, guru, serta pengelolaan ruang kelas dan kebersihan lingkungan sekolah turut berkontribusi dalam menciptakan atmosfer belajar yang positif. Dengan demikian, peningkatan manajemen lingkungan belajar secara menyeluruh sangat diperlukan agar motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal.

Abstract

Utilization of coastal plain area for farming are scarce due to the problems faced in the development of those lands such as low fertility, high percolation as well as evaporation rate. Temperature ranges from 40-60°C. In order to increase the utilization of the land, an attempt was done to study the effects of number of manure and irrigation rate on  the yields and soil water extraction of maize, groundnut, tomato and chilly pepper in sandy soil. A series of experiment was conducted from April to December 200I using completely randomized design. The treatments included 4 rates of manure i.e. 10, 15,20 and 25 MT/ha and 4 rates of irrigation I.e. 0.6 I/day, 0.9 I/day, 1.21/day and 1.5 I/day. The result of the experiment showed that the favourable condition to keep moisture content in sandy soil at field capacity and flushing of heat in the soil was achieved at irrigation rate of 1.2 I/day except for tomato which obtained the highest water extraction at irrigation rate of 0.9 I/day. Soil water extraction decreased between 0.15 to 0.55% when irrigation rate were reduced from 1.2 I/day to 0.9 I/day and 0.6 I/day on: maize, groundnut and chilly pepper. The highest yield was obtained at fertilization rate of 20 MT/ha except for maize which obtained the highest yield at fertilization rate of I0  MT/ha. Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve students’ reading interest in the Indonesian language subject for third-grade students at SD Inpres 3 Tondo. The subjects of this study were 25 students, consisting of 9 male and 16 female students. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: (a) planning, (b) implementation of action, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. The problem addressed in this study was the students’ low reading interest, which affected their participation and understanding of the learning material. To overcome this issue, the researcher implemented the use of poster media as a learning aid. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as written tests to evaluate learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading interest. In the first cycle, the classical completeness percentage reached 66%, and in the second cycle, it increased to 81%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of poster media in Indonesian language learning is effective in enhancing students' reading interest. The poster media made students more engaged and active in the learning process, thereby positively impacting their learning outcomes

Abstract

The objective of this study was to ascertain whether the guided practice method could enhance the competencies of second grade students at SDN 24 Palu. The objective is to enhance the reading aloud abilities of grade 2 students at SDN 24 Palu through the utilisation of the guided practice method, thereby enabling them to read with proficient and accurate pronunciation and intonation. This research is a classroom action research project, employing a research design based on the Kurt Lewin model of PTK, which encompasses the following four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The assessment was based on the observation of the reading aloud process. The subjects were 25 second-grade students from SDN 24 Palu. The action research process was conducted in two cycles. The data was collected in the form of a table of reading aloud skills, and based on this data, the researchers were able to determine the assessment of the reading aloud skill process. The aforementioned table of learning outcomes for grade 2 students at SDN 24 Palu was consulted. The results demonstrated that the initial observation yielded an average learning outcome of 60.96, with only 20% of the learning process deemed complete. The implementation of the guided practice method in Cycle 1 led to an increase in the average result for reading aloud skills to 76. The average learning outcome was 68.68 with a percentage of completeness of 60%. This reflected the results of the first cycle, whereby it was possible to increase the average student learning outcome in the second cycle to 87.68 with a percentage of completeness reaching 88%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the guided practice method can improve the ability to read aloud.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) edukasi riset peneliti belia tentang sejarah dan budaya lokal Papua bagi siswa SMA Negeri 7 Jayapura ini bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan keilmuan tentang konsep dasar penelitian sejarah serta mengembangkan keterampilan riset peneliti belia tentang sejarah dan budaya lokal Papua. Kegiatan ini berangkat dari pentingnya pemahaman sejarah dan budaya lokal sebagai bagian dari identitas dan jati diri generasi muda Papua. Dengan membekali siswa dengan keterampilan riset dasar, mereka diharapkan siswa mampu menggali, menganalisis, dan mendokumentasikan sejarah serta budaya lokal secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan PKM meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi (penyampaian materi dan diskusi dan simulasi), dan tahap evaluasi. Materi yang diberikan mencakup konsep dasar penelitian sejarah, langkah-langkah penelitian sejarah, teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi sumber sejarah (lisan, tulisan dan benda/artefak) serta metode analisis data sederhana. Selama kegiatan, siswa dibimbing untuk melakukan penelitian sederhana terkait sejarah dan budaya lokal di lingkungan mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar penelitian sejarah, kemampuan melakukan riset sederhana tentang sejarah dan budaya lokal Papua, serta kepuasan yang sangat baik terhadap kegiatan PKM yang meliputi isi materi, manfaat, metode penyampaian, dan penyelenggaraan kegiatan PKM. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan PKM menunjukkan adanya minat dan ketertarikan siswa untuk menjadi periset belia yang peduli akan sejarah dan budaya lokal daerahnya. Diharapkan kegiatan PKM ini dapat direplikasikan juga pada sekolah-sekolah menengah atas lainnya di Papua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada teks tetapi juga dapat memanfaatkan sumber belajar yang kontekstual dan berbasis kearifan lokal. Museum sebagai lembaga pelestari warisan budaya sangat berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar yang dapat mendukung capaian pembelajaran pada mata kuliah sejarah dan usaha pariwisata di Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Universitas Cenderawasih. Museum Loka Budaya Universitas Cenderawasih (UNCEN) merupakah salah satu museum pendidikan tertua di Tanah Papua yang menyimpan koleksi benda-benda Etnografi dan Sejarah Lokal yang merepresentasikan keragaman budaya serta dinamika masyarakat Papua. Namun demikian, pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar di lingkungan akademik masih belum optimal atau cenderung sporadis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pemanfaatan budaya lokal Papua pada museum Loka Budaya Universitas Cenderawasih sebagai sumber belajar mata kuliah Sejarah dan Usaha Pariwisata di Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Universitas Cenderawasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung ke museum, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap aktivitas mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran di museum. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan menekankan triangulasi sumber untuk menjamin validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pemanfaatan situs budaya lokal Papua pada Museum Loka Budaya UNCEN telah dilakukan melalui kegiatan kunjungan lapangan, observasi koleksi, penyusunan laporan dan pembuatan video wisata edukatif berbasis budaya lokal. Koleksi museum yang mencakup artefak arkeologi, benda-benda upacara tradisional, alat-alat musik, mas kawin serta benda-benda peralatan hidup masyarakat Papua terbukti relevan dengan kompetensi mata kuliah sejarah dan usaha pariwisata yang menekankan keterpaduan antara aspek historis dan potensi wisata budaya Papua. Pembelajaran di museum memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna bagi mahasiswa, menumbuhkan apresiasi terhadap warisan budaya lokal, serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam merancang produk-produk wisata berbasis sejarah budaya lokal. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan akses ke sumber referensi lokal yang memadai, namun dapat diatasi dengan penggunaan sumber-sumber sekunder dari buku maupun jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dengan materi pada pembelajaran tersebut.
