Abstract

UMKM Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Darma menghadapi beberapa permasalahan dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Pertama, kemasan produk VCO Darma masih kurang menarik karena menggunakan botol plastik biasa tanpa merek dan logo. Kedua, jangkauan pemasaran VCO Darma masih terbatas pada area tertentu saja. Ketiga, UMKM ini belum memiliki izin SPP-IRT, yang penting untuk menjamin keamanan pangan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Keempat, promosi yang dilakukan masih minim sehingga produk VCO Darma belum dikenal luas oleh masyarakat, berdampak pada rendahnya omzet penjualan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian melakukan pendampingan dengan metode berbasis kebutuhan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada pelaku UMKM VCO Darma meliputi bidang pemasaran digital, yang sangat penting di era saat ini untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, pendampingan pengurusan izin SPP-IRT dan pendampingan pembuatan merek dan logo untuk kemasan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan bervariasi, meliputi ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, praktek langsung, dan pendampingan. Hasil yang dicapai dari program pengabdian ini antara lain: 1) Dihasilkannya disain logo dan merk VCO Darma yang menarik sehingga memiliki identitas yang kuat dan mudah diingat konsumen. 2) VCO Darma sudah memiliki SPP-IRT sehingga produk VCO Darma dapat beredar secara legal dan memenuhi standar keamanan pangan. 3) VCO Darma memiliki platform digital marketing sehingga produk bisa dikenal masyarakat luas. Dengan adanya program pendampingan ini, diharapkan UMKM VCO Darma dapat meningkatkan daya saing produknya, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan meningkatkan omzet penjualan

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of differentiated learning approaches on student learning outcomes in visual arts education at UPT SD Negeri 1 Pinrang. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group methodology, involving 60 fourth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received differentiated learning instruction tailored to individual learning styles, readiness levels, and interests, while the control group experienced traditional teaching methods. Data collection utilized visual arts performance assessments, student engagement observations, and learning outcome evaluations. Statistical analysis employed paired t-tests and independent sample t-tests to examine within-group and between-group differences. Results demonstrated significant improvements in the experimental group's visual arts learning outcomes, with mean scores increasing from 68.5 to 82.3, compared to the control group's improvement from 67.8 to 71.2. The differentiated learning approach showed particular effectiveness in enhancing creative expression, technical skills, and artistic appreciation among students with diverse learning preferences. Students in the experimental group exhibited higher engagement levels, improved self-confidence in artistic activities, and enhanced collaborative skills during visual arts projects. The findings suggest that differentiated instruction significantly impacts student achievement in visual arts education by accommodating individual learning differences and promoting inclusive educational practices. This research contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting differentiated pedagogy in elementary arts education and provides practical implications for educators seeking to optimize learning outcomes for all students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program Market Day sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan karakter kewirausahaan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan mengatasi keterbatasan kesempatan pendidikan praktis di sekolah formal, Market Day berfungsi sebagai platform yang efektif bagi siswa untuk mengalami aktivitas bisnis dunia nyata, seperti desain produk, interaksi pelanggan, penetapan harga, dan manajemen keuangan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan analisis literatur untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman siswa dan dampak program terhadap pengembangan kewirausahaan mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mengintegrasikan Market Day ke dalam kurikulum dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan individu yang mandiri, kreatif, dan adaptif, yang mendukung tujuan pendidikan dan ekonomi yang lebih luas. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa Market Day secara signifikan meningkatkan sifat-sifat kewirausahaan siswa, termasuk kreativitas, inovasi, kepercayaan diri, kemampuan beradaptasi, tanggung jawab keuangan, komunikasi yang efektif, manajemen waktu, dan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan masalah koordinasi, program ini terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Economics education is essential for developing students’ critical and analytical thinking, especially in understanding socio-economic issues. However, conventional teaching methods, which still dominate, often result in passive learning and low achievement. This is also evident at SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi, where most Grade XI students fail to meet the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). Observations and questionnaires reveal that learning tends to be monotonous with minimal student engagement. To overcome this, more interactive and student-centered approaches are needed. This study investigates the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by interactive multimedia on student learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was used. Two purposively selected classes were involved one as the experimental group, the other as the control group. Data were gathered through pre-tests and post-tests, and analyzed using an independent t-test and N-Gain. Results show that discovery learning supported by multimedia significantly improved outcomes. The experimental group scored an average of 72.34, while the control group scored 57.55, indicating moderate improvement. The findings suggest that this model can serve as an effective alternative for enhancing student participation and achievement in economics learning

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Wordwall interactive media in economics education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis of ten articles published between 2020 and 2025. The findings show that PjBL, when supported by Wordwall, enhances students’ understanding of economic concepts, learning motivation, engagement, creativity, and critical thinking. Wordwall functions not only as a digital assessment tool but also as a medium for reflection, reinforcement, and real-time feedback. Bibliometric mapping reveals that the keyword “technology” dominates the discourse, indicating a shift toward digital, participatory, and contextual learning strategies. The integration of PjBL and Wordwall emerges as a transformative approach in reshaping economics education to meet the demands of the digital era. This review also identifies implementation patterns and pedagogical considerations essential for maximizing the impact of this integration. The study contributes to the growing body of literature supporting interactive, student-centered learning and offers practical insights for educators and policymakers seeking to modernize economic instruction

Abstract

This study discusses the development of learning design for derivative topics based on Realistics Mathematics Education (RME). The design developed is different from the designs that have been developed by previous researchers, where in this study, the derivative concept was introduced through the flying fox trajectory, which refers to students' understanding of limits and average velocity. This development aims to obtain a valid, practical, and effective learning design in derivative topics to develop students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The development model combines the Plomp and Gravemeijer & Cobb models, which are divided into the preliminary research stage, the development or prototyping stage, and the assessment stage. In the preliminary stage, needs analysis, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and literature review are carried out. Product prototype development is carried out at the development stage, and formative evaluation consists of self-evaluation, expert validation, one-to-one, and small group phases. In this article, the study focuses on findings from one-to-one activities at the development stage. Through one-to-one activities, the resulting design was tested on three students with different abilities to find out whether this product could later be implemented in the classroom. After students learn to use the design, at the end of the activity, students are given a problem-solving ability test to determine the impact of the design on students' problem-solving abilities. The final product obtained is Local Instructional Theory (LIT) of derivative topics, valid, practical, and impact students' problem-solving abilities of RME-based teacher and student books

Abstract

This experimental research was carried out in class X  at  SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang Kota. This research aims to determine the effect of duolingo game as extramural English towards students vocabulary Mastery  at SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang. The research methodology uses a quasi-experimental design. The sample for this research consisted of 53 students, namely 29 students in class X Science two  and 24 ostudents in class X Social. Data collection techniques include tests and documentation. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Duolingo Game can improve the Vocabulary  Mastery  of class X Science two students at SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang Kota as Extramural English  . With an average posttest score of 86,42 and Paired T Test results with a significance level of 5% obtained Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,001 0,05 Therefore, it can be seen that ρ α, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This proves that duolingo game has a significant effect on students' ability to improve English vocabulary in tenth grade.

Abstract

The cultural approach in learning mathematics connects abstract concepts with everyday life, helping students understand mathematics meaningfully. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematics of the Seleman Kerinci’s Larik Panjang house, identifying mathematical contexts in real-world applications. Using an ethnographic approach with qualitative research methods, data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and interviews. The primary data collection instrument was the researcher, supported by observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. The study began with a literature review and geometric material analysis, followed by data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal mathematical elements in the house’s architecture, including: (1) plane figures such as triangles, rectangles, and rhombuses; (2) solid figures like octagonal prisms and rectangular beams; and (3) transformations involving reflection and rotation. These mathematical aspects demonstrate the integration of indigenous knowledge into architectural design. Ethnomathematics in traditional architecture is expected to serve as an engaging learning medium, making mathematics more relevant to students while preserving local wisdom as part of the nation’s cultural identity. This research contributes to the development of contextual mathematics education, highlighting the importance of cultural heritage in shaping mathematical understanding.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the pedagogical and professional competence of MGMP teachers in the Online Business and Marketing Department of West Sumatra in terms of: a) designing a website and b) creating a blog. Training activities take place on Wednesday and Thursday, September 30, 2020 and October 1, 2020 at the UNP Faculty of Economics computer Labor. There were 20 participants who took part in this training, namely teachers of MGMP Online Business and Marketing, West Sumatra Province. The methods and approaches used are as follows: 1) Lecture and question and answer methods. 2) Training methods and individual guidance. 3) The method of recitation or assignment. The results of this service activity are: 1) Increased teacher competence in designing websites. The size of this increase can be seen from 85% of West Sumatra's MGMP teachers of the Department of Online Business and Marketing being able to produce websites. 2) Increased teacher competence in creating blogs. The size of this increase can be seen from the 85% of the MGMP teachers of the Online Business and Marketing Department of West Sumatra being able to create a blog.

Abstract

Teachers of Accounting expertise at SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman are unable to: 1) Design learning oriented to higher-order thinking skills, 2) Design questions with the HOTS category, 3) Designing questions in accordance with the rules of writing questions. The solutions offered are: 1) Training and workshops Designing learning oriented towards higher order thinking skills, 2) Training and workshops Designing questions with the HOTS category, 3) Training and workshops to design questions in accordance with the rules of writing questions. The approach method used is: 1) Using needs- based methods, the community service team entrusts educational evaluation experts to provide training and workshops, 2) Using the method of lecturing, question and answer, discussion, assignment, and demonstration. The results achieved are: 1) Most (60%) teachers of Accounting skills were produced learning designs that were oriented towards higher order thinking skills, 2) The result of the design of questions with the HOTS category by the majority (60%) of the teachers of Accounting expertise, 3) The result of the design of questions in accordance with the rules of writing questions by the majority (60%) of teachers of accounting skills teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman.
