Abstract

ABSTRACT This article discusses the strategy for implementation of school based on entrepreneurship in enhancing student autonomy and creativity through school cooperation. The implementation of vocational school based on entrepreneurship requires some strategies. Firstly, we can do it with educational program and practice executed by vocational school and by the activity of school cooperation. Its final purpose is to make vocational school grade have the soul of entreprenueurship and also improve student autonomy and creativity so that they can learn how to compete in creating work field. Abstract

Aktivitas pembelajaran untuk melatih dan meningkatkan kecepatan mengetik siswa dengan menggunakan sebuah program di komputer belum dilakukan oleh guru SMK Indonesia Raya Batang Anai. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan mengetik guru dan siswa. Padahal saat ini telah banyak program-program gratis yang ditawarkan di dunia maya (internet) sebagai alternatif metode mengajar. Program Typing Master merupakan salah satu program yang dapat dimanfaatkan guru dalam hal ini. Pelaksanaan pelatihan untuk guru dan siswa merupakan solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi hal ini. Pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah memanfaatkan program Typing Master sebagai media yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kecepatan mengetik siswa dengan teknik blind system dan 10 jari. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi sekaligus memberikan pelatihan mengenai pengoperasian program Typing Master. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan ini berjumlah 20 orang yaitu guru dan siswa SMK Indonesia Raya Batang Anai. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berjalan dengan sukses dan lancar karena mendapatkan dukungan dari banyak pihak. Peserta kegiatan memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dan sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan sehingga berniat akan serius untuk berlatih.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the activities of the assessment and depreciation of archives, constraints faced, and efforts made in overcoming the obstacles to the assessment and depreciation of records in the Education Office of West Sumatra Province. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative, with data sources of several key informants through interviews and direct observation to the object of research. Secondary data obtained from documents available at the location of the object of research. To test the validity of the data used Triangulation Technique. Based on the information from the informants, the archive assessment activities at the Office of Education in West Sumatra Province have not run optimally. It can be seen from the presence of archives that are piled up and not placed in the archive storage area. In addition, the depreciation activities in the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office were carried out in two ways, namely the transfer of archives and destruction of archives while the activities for submitting static archives to archival or ANRI institutions had not been implemented. Depreciation activities at the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office are not supplemented by documentary documents on the transfer and destruction of archives, lists of transferred files and other documents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: 1) identify exemplary lecturer Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang as educators in improving the quality of student learning activities, 2) Analyze the contribution of exemplary lecturer at the Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Padang on the quality of student learning activities. This study uses a correlational approach, method of data collection that proportional sampling method, determination of the size of the sample using the formula slovin. Samples of 100 students from Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The results of this study are 1) exemplary lecturer at the Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Padang as educators in improving the quality of student learning activities are currently on the criteria very well with the average indicators 4.2 and TCR 84; 2) exemplary lecturer at the Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Padang contributing to / effect on the quality of student learning activities with sig 0.001.

Abstract

This research aimed to measure: (1) Effect of ownership of Textbooks to use the smartphone as a source of learning in students of Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. (2) Effect of motivation to learn to use the smartphone as a source of learning in students of Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. (3) Effect of ownership of textbooks on learning motivation in students of Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The study was descriptive correlational. The study population was students of Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling  and the sample size in this study were 97 respondents. The data used are primary data. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis using path analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) the ownership textbooks significantly influence the motivation to learn (2) Ownership textbooks do not significantly affect the use of smartphones as a learning resource but indirect effect through learning motivation, (3) learning motivation influence directly and significantly to the use of a smartphone as a learning resource.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan kegiatan penerapan sanksi administratif keterlambatan pengembalian bahan pustaka, faktor-faktor penyebab keterlambatan pengembalian bahan pustaka, dampak penerapan sanksi administratif dan juga cara mengatasi keterlambatan pengembalian bahan pustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Padang. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan sumber data beberapa informan sesuai kriteria tertentu melalui observasi, hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sanksi administratif telah berjalan dengan baik karena pegawai perpustakaan dan mahasiswa UNP telah bekerja sama dengan baik menjalankan penerapan sanksi administratif sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku. Perpustakaan UNP belum melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi dengan optimal karena masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum mengetahui keseluruhan tata tertib dan ketentuan sanksi administratif yang berlaku. Perpustakaan UNP hanya menerapkan kegiatan sosialisasi dengan meletakkan banner dan membuat website. Mahasiswa UNP belum merubah perilaku mereka untuk tidak terlambat mengembalikan buku. Masih banyak mahasiswa UNP yang terlambat dalam mengembalikan buku. Faktor penyebab keterlambat pengembalian buku yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa UNP yaitu 1) lupa tanggal jatuh tempo pengembalian buku, 2) buku masih diperlukan, 3) pulang kampung 4) jadwal kuliah yang padat, 5) meminjamkan KTM ke teman dan teman lupa mengembalikan buku tersebut, 6) buku dipinjam teman dan 7) banyak tugas. Adanya sanksi administratif belum menimbulkan efek jera kepada mahasiswa UNP. Cara mengatasi keterlambatan pengembalian buku perlu kerjasama antar perpustakaan UNP dengan mahasiswa UNP. This study aims to describe the activities of administrative sanctions implementation of the delay in returning library materials, factors that cause delays in returning library materials, the impact of implementing administrative sanctions and also how to overcome delays in returning library materials at Library of Padang State University. This research method is descriptive qualitative, with data sources some informants fit certain criteria through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the information from the informants of this study, it can be explained that the application of administrative sanctions has gone well because Library employees and UNP students have cooperated well in implementing administrative sanctions in accordance with the applicable procedures. The Library of UNP has not carried out the socialization activities optimally because there are still many students who do not know the entire rules and the provisions of the administrative sanctions that apply. The library of UNP only applies socialization activities by placing banners and creating websites. Students of UNP have not changed their behavior to not late returning books. There are still many UNP students who are late in returning books. Factors that cause delays in returning books made by UNP students are 1) forgetting the return date of the book, 2) books still needed, 3) returning home 4) busy lecture schedule, 5) lending KTM to friends and friends forgetting to return the book, 6) books borrowed by friends and 7) many tasks. The existence ofadministrative sanctions has not caused a deterrent effect on UNP students. How to overcome delays in returning books needs collaboration between UNP’s Library and UNP’s students.

Abstract

Abstract

Two types of errors are one of the important topics in hypothesis testing. Studying the two types of errors is not only studying how the procedure determines the probability of making an error, but it is very important to study the theoretical concepts of the two types of errors. To achieve this goal, a learning design is needed that can facilitate students to construct their own concepts of the two types of errors. The learning design developed is local instructional theory resulting from the cyclic process of hypothetical learning trajectory. The type of research used is design research using the model developed by Gravemeijer and Cobb. The test subjects used in this study were students of the Ma thematics Education Study Program, FMIPA UNP who took the Elementary Statistics Course in the July – December 2019 semester. This research resulted in a very practical local instructional theory used to facilitate students in carrying out horizontal and vertical mathematization processes, so that students are able to construct their own concepts of two types of errors in hypothesis testing.

Abstract

Abstract : Objective: To determine the effectiveness of technology-based encyclopedias as learning resources to increase motivation and learning outcomes in the learning process. The method used in this article uses the literature review method, a source obtained on the Google Scholar website with problems in the past 5 years. From 8 articles, found the development of tenology-based encyclopedias as a very effective learning resource used in the learning process by using the ADDIE, 4-D development model, and Borg and Ball development models. Then in the use of technology-based learning resource encyclopedias this is very feasible to use in the learning process both in the class room and independently at home. So, the development of technology-based learning resource encyclopedia that is able to be a source of learning in addition to textbooks that are used by students to add insight, enrich information and understanding and can increase motivation and learning outcomes. Conclusion: This literature review found the use of technology-based encyclopedias as learning resources. Technology-based encyclopedias are one of the sources of appropriate and effective learning to increase motivation, learning outcomes, interest in reading to add insight, knowledge and understanding of students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Socioeconomic Status of Parents Against Learning Motivation, Influence Motivation Learning Interest Continue Study to Higher Education and Influence of Parents' Socioeconomic Status on Interest Continue Study to Higher Education.                The population in this study is the students of class XII SMK National Padang Academic Year 2017/2018 amounted to 77 students. Intruments in this study used questionnaires. Trial of research instrument with validity test and reliability test conducted on 30 students at SMK Nusatama Padang. Data analysis technique used is path analysis technique using SPSS ver program. 16.0.                The results of this study show: First there is a positive influence and significant socioeconomic status of parents to the motivation of students learning class XII SMK National Padang Year 2017/2018, meaning the higher the level of socioeconomic status of parents then the student learning motivation also increases. Second there is a positive and significant influence on the socio-economic status of parents on the interest to continue studies to college students of class XII SMK Padang National Academic Year 2017/2018, it can be interpreted that the higher socioeconomic status of parents will increase the interest of students of SMK Nasional Padang to continue education to university Thirdly there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation toward the interest of continuing study to college students of class XII SMK National Padang Year 2017/2018 which shows that the higher the students' learning motivation, the higher the interest of students of SMK Nasional Padang to continuing education to college. Keywords: socioeconomic status of parents, motivation to study and interest in continuing study to public universities
