Abstract

The stem rot disease caused by the Ganoderma boninense is a type of disease that is deadly to oil palm plants and can cause a significant reduction in oil palm productivity. Difficulty in detecting disease infected oil palm plants is cause of the high risk of plan death due to the condition and risk of oil palm plants being affected by disease as early as possible. The system used is Long Range (LoRa) technology which utilizes radio frequencies as signal transmission between transmitter and receiver devices. The transmitter device is equipped with TGS 2611, MQ-138, MS1100 and TGS822 sensors as a tool for detecting ganoderma disease and is also equipped with a GPS sensor which functions to map trees affected by the disease. Meanwhile, the receiver as the recipient of the data that has been sent by the transmitter via LoRa will be forwarded to BIynk Apps via the internet network, thus forming an IoT (Internet of Things) system. This technology helps monitor oil palm plantations more efficiently because it can be monitored in real time on a smartphone application. The research results show that the four sensors can detect levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from ganoderma fungi with three classification; healthy, moderate and sick.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi smart green house berbasis IoT untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi green house. Sistem ini mengontrol dan memantau suhu ruangan, kelembapan ruangan, kelembapan tanah, dan pH tanah di green house melalui smartphone. ESP32 digunakan sebagai mikrokontroler, dengan Blynk App sebagai platform IoT untuk memantau dan mengontrol lingkungan sesuai kondisi optimal bagi tanaman jahe. Penelitian menggunakan jahe merah dan putih berumur ± 3 bulan. Pengujian dilakukan pada dua kondisi: tanah tanpa tanaman dan tanah dengan tanaman jahe. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sensor dapat mengukur pH tanah, suhu, kelembapan udara, dan kelembapan tanah dengan nilai error: pH 2%, kelembapan tanah 11% (jahe merah) dan 7% (jahe putih). Error sensor suhu ruangan dan kelembapan ruangan untuk kedua jenis tanaman adalah 3% dan 5%. Rata-rata kenaikan tinggi jahe merah 3,8 cm dan jahe putih 2,4 cm dalam 2 minggu, serta peningkatan jumlah daun masing-masing 3 helai (jahe merah) dan 4 helai (jahe putih).

Abstract

Traffic accidents are one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia. In 2022, there were 94,617 traffic accident cases recorded across the country, resulting in 28,131 fatalities. Motorcycles were involved in 73% of these cases. To reduce the number of motor vehicle accident fatalities, a detection system is needed that can provide real-time accident alerts, location data, and victim health information from distances. The design of this system includes an accident detection device placed on the vehicle and a heart rate detection device in the form of gloves. The accident detection system uses an ESP32 microcontroller, a Gyro MPU6050 sensor, and a GPS NEO6MV2 sensor. It detects accidents based on tilt data and sudden braking. Accident information is sent via WhatsApp chatbot, including the accident location coordinates. Tests showed an average tilt reading difference of 1.34°, an accelerometer reading of 1.89 m/s², and GPS coordinates with an 8.2-meter range. The heart rate detection system uses an ESP32 microcontroller and a MAX30102 heart rate sensor. It sends alerts via WhatsApp chatbot when the user’s heart rate is abnormal. Tests showed an average heart rate reading difference of 11.75 bpm

Abstract

Abstrak Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) merupakan salah satu langkah untuk mewujudkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. P5 merupakan kegiatan kokurikuler berbasis projek yang dirancang untuk menguatkan upaya pencapaian kompetensi dan karakter sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang disusun berdasarkan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL). Satu diantara tema yang dapat diterapkan  untuk mendukung pembelajaran adalah rekayasa dan teknologi. Rekayasa teknologi menawarkan kemudahan untuk membantu pekerjaan menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu cara untuk mengenalkan dan mengembangkan rekayasa teknologi di lingkungan masyarakat adalah dengan melaksanakan pelatihan dasar In House Training (IHT) di tingkat sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan IHT merupakan bentuk dari usaha untuk mengenalkan rekayasa teknologi dengan memberikan pemahaman secara teori, demonstrasi alat, pembuatan prototipe, dan uji coba alat. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang rekayasa teknologi, terbukti dari hasil presentase kuisioner yang dibagikan diperoleh rata-rata pada kategori sangat setuju mencapai 47% dan setuju mencapai 53%. Hal kuisioner ini membuktikan peningkatan pemahaman peserta dari penyajian materi dan meningkatkan penggunaan dan pengembangan rekayasa teknologi serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar untuk mengaplikasikan rekayasa teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini memiliki dampak sangat positif bagi mitra untuk menghadapi era digital dengan ide dan gagasan baru terkait rekayasa teknologi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada di sekitar. Kata kunci: in house training; P5; rekayasa teknologi; SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. Abstract The Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) represents a strategic initiative to cultivate the competencies and character traits outlined in the Pancasila Student Profile, as mandated by the Graduate Competency Standards (SKL). As a project-based co-curricular activity, P5 integrates thematic learning to reinforce holistic education. One such theme—engineering and technology—offers practical innovations that enhance effectiveness and efficiency in daily tasks. To introduce and promote technological engineering within school communities, basic-level In-House Training (IHT) programs have been implemented. These training sessions aim to build foundational understanding through theoretical instruction, equipment demonstrations, prototype development, and tool testing. This approach not only fosters technical literacy but also supports the broader goal of character and competency development in line with Pancasila values. This program successfully increased participant knowledge of engineering technology, as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire distributed, which showed an average of 47% strongly agreed and 53% agreed. This questionnaire proves the increase in participants understanding of the material presented and increases the use and development of engineering technology as well as increasing motivation to learn to apply engineering technology in everyday life. This program activity has a very positive impacton partners in facing the digital era with new ideas and concepts related to engineering technology to solve existing problems. Keywords: in-house training; P5; technological engineering; SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak

Abstract

Desa Tambatan terletak di Kabupaten Sambas, sebuah wilayah di Kalimantan Barat. Daerah ini merupakan salah satu daerah yang dekat dengan perbatasan Indonesia- Malaysia. Daerah ini menjadi salah satu daerah prioritas dalam pembangunan karena banyak masalah kesehatan, dan masih rendahnya perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tanii )KWT) Rose dan PKK Desa Tambatan. Prioritas masalah adalah pada aspek produksi, pemasaran, dan sosial kemasyarakatan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dan introduksi teknologi tepat guna. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sebesar 89,1%. Diperlukan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan agar dapat terus meningkatkan produksi olahan pangan lokal dan derajat kesehatan pada masyarakat sasaran.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak with the aim of providing training to students related to the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in smart home and smart farming systems. This activity was chosen because most of the Indonesian population does not have an understanding and knowledge of the IoT concept, especially the younger generation of school age. The implementation method includes socialization, training and direct simulation of making IoT-based smart home and smart farming prototypes using ESP8266 sensors as microcontrollers. The PkM activities succeeded in increasing the participants knowledge about IoT.  The results of this questionnaire prove the increased understanding of participants from the delivery of material and increased ability to use and develop IoT and increased learning motivation to apply IoT technology in everyday life. This proves the positive impact of the facilitator's involvement on partners, with this training it is hoped that new ideas or ideas will emerge from the younger generation to face the digital era and be able to identify and solve problems around them by utilizing Internet of Things technology.
