Abstract

The outreach activity on native chicken farming, incorporating the use of semi-intensive housing systems and locally sourced feed, was carried out to enhance the capacity of farmers in Bontomangape Village, Takalar Regency. This article focuses on examining participants’ enthusiasm and perceptions toward the appropriate technologies introduced. The extension methods used included material presentation, practical simulation, participatory discussion, and the distribution of evaluation and perception questionnaires. The results showed a high level of enthusiasm among participants, as reflected in full attendance, active engagement during sessions, and participation in hands-on practice. Overall, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and positive perceptions, as indicated by the questionnaire analysis: 90.6% strongly agreed that the outreach activity increased their enthusiasm, and 92.4% strongly agreed that the program elicited positive perceptions. These findings suggest that a participatory and context-based approach to agricultural extension can foster positive acceptance of farming innovations. Further follow-up in the form of mentoring and demonstration programs is needed to ensure sustainable technology adoption.

Abstract

In an effort to foster a reading culture, the Indonesian government has launched various initiatives to improve literacy, particularly among the younger generation. Schools, as formal educational institutions, play a strategic role in shaping students' intellectual and moral development. In this context, school principals hold a central role as leaders—not only in promoting literacy culture but also in instilling Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, and the pursuit of knowledge as a form of worship. This study aims to examine the role of school leadership in enhancing the literacy culture at SMP Negeri 21 Batang Hari. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving principals, teachers, the head librarian, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the principal plays a key role in mobilizing, guiding, motivating, and setting an example in fostering literacy at school. Islamic values are integrated into activities such as reading as a form of reflection (tadabbur), building unity (ukhuwah) through shared reading sessions, and modeling appropriate reading manners (adab). The study concludes that effective, inspirational leadership rooted in Islamic values is essential in creating a school environment that holistically and meaningfully supports the development of a literacy culture.

Abstract

This community service aims to introduce innovations in the process of processing seaweed into chips as a superior local food product in Wanci Coastal Village. This village has a great potential in seaweed production, but its utilisation is still limited to raw products, so the added value for the local community is not optimal. Through this activity, technology transfer was conducted to process seaweed into chips using simple yet efficient drying and frying methods. The training involved farmer groups and housewives as the main actors. The results showed that this innovation not only improved the technical skills of the community, but also opened up new business opportunities with products that are highly competitive in the local market. The response from the community was very positive, as seen from the increase in production and market demand. Thus, this programme is expected to become a model for other coastal areas in developing the potential of local natural resources in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Empowerment activities are very important in improving skills and economic independence. One form of empowerment is through batik training with the shibori technique which is a folding, tying and dyeing technique that will produce unique motifs. This shibori batik making training was carried out for PKK mothers in Sebamban Baru Village. This activity aims to train the skills of PKK mothers in Sebamban Baru Village in working and being productive. The method applied in this activity is a combination of theory and direct practice, including the provision of materials, accuracy. In this training, participants use tools and materials that are easy to find. Direct practice and Evaluation. This activity was held on February 12, 2025. The results of the implementation of this activity were the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of PKK mothers in learning how to make batik with various unique motifs using the shibori technique. In addition to being used for themselves, the results of shibori batik also have the potential to be sold, so that they can increase the value of the fabric and contribute to the welfare of the community.

Abstract

The financial management training at TK Bustanul Athfal Lhong Raya aims to enhance the capacity of the school administrators in managing finances transparently and accountably. The issues faced by the administrators include a lack of skills in structuring financial documents and limited use of technology. This training involved the school principal, treasurer, teachers, and representatives from the school committee as participants, covering topics such as budgeting, cash flow recording, and the preparation of simple financial reports. The methods combined theory and practice to ensure participants could implement what they learned in their daily activities. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in managing financial documents in a more structured and transparent manner, as evidenced by their ability to create daily cash books, annual budgets, and more systematic financial reports. Post-training monitoring confirmed that most participants had applied the taught materials in managing school finances, although further assistance is required, especially in the use of financial technology. This activity successfully established a better financial management system, increased transparency, and built trust among the community in the financial management of TK Bustanul Athfal. This training provides a strong foundation for accountable and sustainable financial management in TK Bustanul Athfal Lhong Raya Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Patanyamang Village, located in Camba District, South Sulawesi, is an area with a high potential for landslide risks. One of the disaster mitigation efforts carried out is mapping the distribution of bamboo plants as soil-retaining vegetation. This activity was conducted through a community empowerment approach with the Forest Farmers Group (KTH) in Patanyamang, utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The GPS introduction training was led by practitioners from Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, followed by bamboo coordinate data collection involving local community members.The activity was divided into three groups based on hamlets, namely Mangai Hamlet, Bontotanga Hamlet, and Laelbata Hamlet. Each group was trained to use GPS devices to identify bamboo locations in their respective areas. The data collection results showed that the Mangai Hamlet group obtained 17 coordinate points, the Bontotanga Hamlet group obtained 8 points, and the Laelbata Hamlet group obtained 13 points. The use of GPS technology proved effective in mapping the distribution of bamboo, serving as an initial step in landslide disaster mitigation in the area. However, these coordinate points only reflect bamboo locations that are directly accessible. To acquire a more comprehensive distribution dataset, further analysis using satellite imagery or remote sensing is required. This activity provided benefits in enhancing the community’s capacity, especially in GPS technology utilization, and raised awareness of the importance of bamboo conservation as part of disaster mitigation efforts. Abstract

Penyakit birokrasi (Patologi) dalam pelayanan KTP elektronik (KTP-el) lebih sering terjadi pada kecamatan-kecamatan yang letaknya jauh dari ibukota Kabupaten Lampung Tengah yang letaknya paling ujung dari wilayah Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah: Bagaimanakah Patologi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam birokrasi pelayanan Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP-el) di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah? Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, maka dapat dikemukakan kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Patologi birokrasi dari tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang tidak sesuai dengan tuntutan pekerjaan adalah petugas perekaman KTP-el kurang profesional dalam bekerja, petugas perekaman KTP-el jika saat menginput data jaringan internet mengalami gangguan signal, petugas perekaman KTP-el menghentikan pekerjaannya sampai signal jaringan internet membaik dan tidak mau mencari solusi lain. Akhirnya pekerjaan yang seharusnya dapat diselesaikan pada hari itu harus tertunda dan dikerjakan keesokan harinya. 2) Patologi birokrasi dari rekrutmen pegawai masih tradisional, ini terjadi karena keterbatasan anggaran pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil, sehingga tidak mencari tenaga perekaman KTP-el yang menguasai keterampilan informasi telekomunikasi, melainkan merekrut tenaga yang ada dan diberi keterampilan perekaman KTP-el. 3) Patologi birokrasi dari penetapan pegawai tidak objektif, tidak rasional (baik pendidikan, pelatihan, pengalaman, minat dan bakat) adalah kurangnya tenaga operator KTP-el, dimana untuk setiap kecamatan hanya ada satu tenaga operator KTP-el, sehingga saat operator KTP-el tidak masuk karena izin atau sakit tidak ada yang menggantikannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) Mengetahui analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (2) Menyusun design soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) (3) Mengetahui kevalidan dan praktikalitas soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (4) Mengetahui efektifitas pengembangan soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN 51 Sumarambu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri atas 5 tahapan yaitu: (1)analyze, (2)design, (3)development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluate. Berdasarkan tahap analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan peneliti di SDN 51 Sumarambu, maka dibutuhkan sebuah inovasi baru terutama dalam bahan ajar berbentuk buku, dalam hal ini dikembangkan Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV. Selanjutnya Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots divalidasi oleh tiga orang ahli sebagai validator diantaranya ahli bahasa 85% (sangat valid), ahli materi 92% (sangat valid) dan ahli desain 81% (sangat valid). Hasil yang sangat memuaskan dan positif dengan nilai akhir yang diperoleh melalui uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik sebesar 88.7% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan 89,5% dari guru kelas IV dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kemudian untuk hasil efektifitas dengan melibatkan 18 peserta didik dengan hasil 73% (efektif). Soal evaluasi berbasi HOTS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to: examine teachers’ perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum; identify teachers’ understanding of its structure and implementation principles; describe the strategies applied by teachers in implementing the curriculum; and illustrate teachers’ expectations regarding the sustainability of Merdeka Curriculum implementation at the primary education level. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers at the madrasah. The findings indicate that teachers hold generally positive perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum, recognizing it as more flexible and student-centered. However, teachers’ understanding remains varied, particularly in the technical aspects of lesson planning. The strategies used include teacher collaboration, the use of local media, and contextual project-based learning. Teachers also demonstrated creativity in overcoming limited resources. Furthermore, they expressed the need for ongoing training, adequate learning facilities, and strong collaboration among schools, parents, and the government. These findings reflect teachers’ dedication to supporting the ongoing educational reform.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan, merancang, serta mengetahui validitas dan praktikalitas penggunaan media AR dalam pembelajaran tentang organ pernapasan manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan 17 siswa kelas V dari SD Negeri 229 Sidobinangun. Sementara itu, fokus penelitiannya adalah pengembangan media pembelajaran AR yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Data penelitian telah dikumpulkan melalui angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Berdasarkan evaluasi para ahli, media pembelajaran AR mendapat nilai validitas yang sangat tinggi. Ahli bahasa memberikan persentase sebesar 86%, ahli materi sebesar 87%, dan ahli media memberikan nilai sebesar 75%. Hasil yang memuaskan tercapai dari hasil uji kepraktisan yang mencapai 91% oleh siswa dan 92% oleh guru kelas V, menunjukkan tingkat praktis yang sangat baik dalam penggunaannya. Media AR yang telah dikembangkan memiliki kualitas yang baik untuk digunakan karena telah memenuhi berbagai kriteria keberhasilan dan sangat mendukung siswa dalam mencapai sasaran belajar mereka.
