Abstract

Starting in 2019 and 2020, the government began to make it mandatory to implement halal and NKV certification. The guarantee of food safety for beef products is not only halal certificates but also a Veterinary Control Number (NKV). Responds from non-Muslim consumers on the purchase intention of meat products with halal and NKV certificates are supporting factors in convincing sellers or producers to carry out the certification process. Therefore, this study aims to identify and analyze the influence of several factors, such as awareness, the role of certification, health reasons, and the parts of the halal marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place). This research was conducted on 124 non-Muslim respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected online and analyzed using PLS (Partial Least Square). The results show that awareness, the role of certification, health reasons, and the halal marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) affect the purchase intention of non-Muslims towards beef. There needs to be a role from various parties regarding information about halal and hygienic products. For example, sellers can inform consumers that the products they sell have been confirmed halal and the cleanliness of their products if an outbreak infects livestock at a certain time. Each group of respondents has differences in terms of factors influencing purchasing interest due to beliefs and habits. Keywords: beef, halal certification, food safety, purchase intention

Abstract

Hydroponics is a method of cultivating plants without soil that is popular with Indonesian people. Its spread in Indonesia is supported by information openness via the internet and social media. Internet users reaching 77.2% have created a demand for hydroponic training. The urgency of training services is needed because hydroponic cultivation requires special skills. In the city of Bogor, there are business units that provide hydroponic training with limited face-to-face services which are very vulnerable to schedule limitations and social restriction policies by the government. The aim of this research is to formulate a strategy for developing a hydroponics training business in the city of Bogor. The approach uses qualitative methods with the Business Model Canvas framework to map digitalization adaptation and describe existing business models. Alternative strategies are formulated using SWOT analysis which combines internal strategic issues in the form of strengths and weaknesses with external strategic issues in the form of opportunities and threats. The formulated alternative strategy is implemented into the prototype canvas business model. Customer Response Index analysis is carried out to support SWOT analysis to obtain input based on responses from consumers. The research results found that digital adaptation was limited to business model marketing channels. Strength strategic issues lie in segmentation based on demand, service flexibility, and digital marketing adaptation. The weakness issue is dependence on one product and dependence on business partners. Strategic issues of opportunity are opportunities for product diversification, new partnerships, and conversion of training into digital products. The strategic threat issue is the opportunistic risk of business partners. The formulation of an alternative strategy recommends diversifying service products by adding services that are still in the hydroponics business line.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze retention conditions based on the turnover rate of permanent employee in the last 10 years, identify potential mining technical specialization professions, and determine operational division that primarily needed in implementing the mining specialization function as well as alternative strategy for implementing the mining specialization function. This study uses quantitative methodological analysis approach based on turnover rate calculation, labor gap identification, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) processed in Super Decision v. 2.10 software application. The determination of mining specialization profession is done by qualitative methodological analysis approach. As a result, PTFI's permanent employee turnover rate tends to increase in 2020 reaching 2,4%, and the mining specialization profession can be applied to as many as 24 job codes based on the Indonesian Standard Position Classification. Geoengineering division has a primary need in implementing the mining specialization function with the dominance of permanent workers who leave reaching 67,9% and have an educational background of S1 for geology, hydrology and geotech engineer professions. The final result of this study shows in the opinion of three selected experts that the main priority of the strategy for implementing the mining specialization function in the DCP at PTFI is determining qualifications, followed by strategies in the form of career planning, training, education, and candidate selection, with also providing remuneration for mining specialization workers. The results of the SEM-PLS analysis shows that mental workload has a significant effect on performance (p-values 0.045 sig.5%) and PTSD symptoms have no effect on performance (p-values 0.885 sig.5%) but has a significant effect on mental workload (p-values 0.026 sig.5%). The Chi Square test shows a significant correlation between the predictor of assignment location with PTSD symptoms (p-values 0.019 sig.5%) and performance (p-values 0.032 sig.5%). The managerial implications then proposed to obtain healthy mental and optimal productivity of PTFI rescue officers, including handling PTSD symptoms, facilitating coping strategies, analyzing the influence of competence to mental workload, implement structured program to deal with traumatic events exposure, measuring the stress level, and measuring behavioral elements that support employees' perceptions as citizen of the organization. Abstract

Sandy coastal farming has become a crucial livelihood strategy in Indonesia's marginal coastal areas, yet technology adoption remains uneven across farmer households. This study examines how the economic behavior of farmer households influences the intensity of sandy coastal farming technology adoption and analyzes how changes in internal and external factors impact adoption, production, labor allocation, income, and expenditure. Using primary cross-sectional data from 196 farmer households in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, the study applies an integrated household economic model estimated as a system of simultaneous equations using the Two-Stage Least Squares method. Technology adoption is represented through the allocation of cultivated land and the use of soil-improving inputs, allowing for the examination of adoption intensity within a unified household decision framework. The results show that adoption intensity is primarily driven by household income and family labor availability, with cultivated area acting as a key transmission channel linking income to input use and production outcomes. Higher returns from sandy coastal farming induce substitution toward hired labor rather than proportional increases in family labor. Simulation results indicate that output price incentives strengthen adoption through income and scale effects, while reductions in irrigated land weaken adoption by tightening household resource constraints. These findings underscore the significance of income stability and access to resources in maintaining high adoption intensity in marginal land systems.
