Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance management strategies and practices implemented in the company and their impact on the productivity and success of the organization. The research method involves employee surveys and analysis of performance management-related documents. The results showed that PT Philti Jaya Bintang has adopted a performance management approach that focuses on individual performance measurement, skill development, and recognition of employee contributions. The research also identifies potential areas for improvement in the implementation of performance management, such as expanding employee development programs and improving communication between management and work teams. Although there are still challenges that need to be overcome, efforts to implement performance management at PT Philti Jaya Bintang have had a positive impact on employee productivity and engagement.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh dosen adalah belum semuanya mampu dan memahami bagaimana tahapan-tahapan dalam mengolah data penelitian yang akan di jadikan artikel untuk di publikasikan sebagai beban kerja dosen selain mengajar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi dosen dalam meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dan meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam mengolah data serta menghasilkan publikasi. Pelaksanaan Training of Trainer yang diikuti oleh 50 dosen pembimbing dilakukan dengan pendekatan pelatihan langsung menggunakan komputer yang telah diinstall Aplikasi Eviews Versi 12 dan JASP versi 0.16.3. Pelaksanaan Training of Trainer dengan menggunakan aplikasi Eviews dan JASP dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada prinsipnya peserta cukup semangat dan antusias mengikuti pelatihan tersebut, dengan adanya pelatihan seperti ini mereka dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang manfaat penggunaan aplikasi Eviews dan JASP. Aplikasi ini berguna untuk mengolah data yang dperlukan serta juga dapat diimplimentasikan untuk keperluan karya tulis ilmiah dan membimbing tugas akhir.

Abstract

Culture is one of the national identities that must be preserved and is a characteristic of a country that differentiates it from other countries. One of the cultures in Indonesia is Malay culture. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) will visit Tanjungpinang, Indonesia with the agenda of carrying out Community Service on Penyengat Island which will be accompanied by lecturers and students from STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang. The aim of implementing Community Service is to introduce Malay culture to foreign students, especially Malay culture on Penyengat Island. This activity is carried out in the form of direct outreach. The results obtained from this Community Service activity were introducing Malay culture to overseas students with a series of activities involving lecturers, students and the residents of Penyengat Island.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has various kinds of customs, tribes and cultures. Many Indonesian citizens work in Malaysia to improve its economy. However, many Indonesian migrant workers have problems in Malaysia, such as being treated inappropriately. The service activities carried out by STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang students were 14 students and 2 accompanying lecturers. Service activities were carried out at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI)- Johor Bahru, Malaysia on October 29th, 2023. The method used was participatory. The Indonesian Consulate General is a government agency to protect Indonesian citizens abroad, one of which is the Indonesian Consulate General in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Many Indonesian migrant workers become victims of human trafficking. There are also many Indonesian migrant workers who enter Malaysia without complete administrative evidence and without correct procedures or not in accordance with the recommendations of the law.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Deming Model-based performance management (PDCA) in PT. Bintan Jaya Samudra. The research uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. The sample used was purposive sampling. The informant in this study is Mr. Ruslan Jumas as the president director of PT. Bintan Jaya Samudera. The data analysis used in this study uses descriptive analysis using triangulation techniques and sources. The company plans by emphasizing discipline and carrying out internal training for each employee which has then been carried out and will later be evaluated periodically and followed up. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Deming Model in PT. Bintan Jaya Samudra is not applied perfectly, especially in the follow-up section (Act) because this company only gives bonuses to employees who manage to achieve the target but there is no punishment for employees who do not reach the target.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the performance management strategies implemented at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Tanjungpinang City. The research type used was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews. The sample used in this study was purposive sampling, with the informants being human resources supervisors at the relevant office. Data analysis was conducted to identify the strategies applied in performance management. The research findings showed that the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Tanjungpinang City had implemented several performance management strategies, such as human resource development, measurement and evaluation, reward and sanction provision, and the implementation of information and technology. However, there were several challenges, such as the lack of quality human resources. This study recommended the need for improvements in the performance evaluation system, ongoing training, and better utilization of information technology. These measures were suggested to support the implementation of more effective performance management strategies.

Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa anak-anak menjadi dewasa. Pada masa ini mereka mengalami perubahan baik secara fisik ataupun pola pikir. Para remaja menjadi lebih aktif apalagi terkait dengan perkembangan teknologi. Namun disini, pemanfaatan mereka akan teknologi hanya sebatas untuk hiburan seperti bermain game, menonton video dan lain sebagainya. Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membantu remaja khususnya remaja di Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring agar lebih berkreativitas dalam berkarya melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah workshop dengan sasarannya adalah remaja yang tergabung dalam Forum Anak Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring serta siswa-siswi SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang yang berjumlah 50 orang. Hasil kegiatan ini yakni meningkatnya kreatvitas dan pola pikir remaja di Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring dalam hal menjadi seorang influencer. Terlebih lagi sulitnya lapangan kerja pada masa sekarang memaksa kita untuk bisa dalam berbagai hal dan melakukan kegiatan yang dapat menghasilkan pendapatan. Melalui kegiatan ini remaja juga sekaligus diajarkan untuk menjadi wirausaha dan bahkan bisa membuka peluang untuk lapangan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Salah satu untuk menurunkan angka stunting yaitu penerapan DASHAT (Dapur Sehat) dengan memberikan makanan sehat dan bergizi, sosialisasi kepada ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, calon pengantin dan keluarga yang memiliki anak usia dibawah dua tahun (baduta). Tujuan program dapur sehat ini untuk memberikan kesadaran terhadap masyarakat untuk mengurangi serta mencegah bayi stunting dimana dapur sehat mencakup edukasi zat gizi yang diperlukan bayi dan konsumsi ibu hamil dan menyusui serta calon pengantin di Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi kepada kader posyandu, didampingi oleh kepala puskesmas dimana kegiatan tersebut berlangsung selama 40 hari, terhitung sejak tanggal 9 Oktober 2022 hingga 18 November 2022. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan gizi untuk baduta stunting memang dipengaruhi dari pola asupan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah menjadi tanggung jawab semua orang baik pemerintah dan seluruh masyarakat. Pada prinsipnya sistem kerja bank sampah mengadopsi sistem bank pada umum nya. Bank sampah ini hanya berbeda dalam bentuk tabungan nya adalah sampah. Pengkonversian tabungan sampah menjadi tabungan uang merupakan suatu bentuk perubahan yang ditawarkan oleh Bank Sampah. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat dari Bank Sampah Kembar Mandiri di Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat supaya masyarakat bisa mengetahui manfaat serta keberadaan dari Bank Sampah Kembar Mandiri ini. Sebagai solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu dengan melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya fungsi dan suatu manfaat dari Bank Sampah ini. Dari hasil kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut masyarakat Kelurahan Melayu Kota Piring memiliki peningkatan wawasan dan pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan serta fungsi dan manfaat dari bank sampah. Masyarakat baru tersadar bahwa sampah yang dibuang begitu saja ternyata masih bisa didaur ulang sedemikian rupa sehingga sampah tersebut mempunyai nilai dan bermanfaat untuk mengurangi volume sampah yang dibuang langsung ke tempat pembuangan akhir.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of HR strategies in employee development, employee involvement in collaborative and participatory approaches, while the purpose of this is to describe, explain, and know human resource development strategies, using some literature. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of observations and articles, journals, all of which were successfully collected and then analyzed. Which would like to see how the influence of HR strategy in employee development, because human resource employees are one of the crucial factors in human resource management. By involving employees to obtain long-term growth longevity and increase profitability in the midst of increasingly fierce industry competition. in a collaborative and participatory employee approach, meaning that the company involves employees effectively in the process of decision making, planning, and carrying out tasks. this approach also encourages employees to contribute, which empowers an inclusive work culture and actively participates in the development of organizational strategy implementation.
