Abstract

This study is based on the increasing tasks and responsibilities of employees at Kemranjen I and II Community Health Centers, particularly in the service and data management sectors in Kemranjen District. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of individual, job, and work experience characteristics on organizational commitment. This study employs a quantitative method, with data collection conducted through questionnaires and observations. The population consists of 121 employees, and the sampling technique used is total sampling, whereby the entire population serves as the sample. The analysis is performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework. The results indicate that individual characteristics, job characteristics, work experience, and quality of work life each have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Affective Events Theory explains how internal and external factors trigger positive emotions, thereby strengthening employees' emotional attachment, so it is recommended to optimize these factors to increase organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of social capital and human capital on theentrepreneurial intentions of former Indonesian migrant workers (PMI purna), withpsychological capital positioned as a mediating variable. Grounded in the Theory ofPlanned Behavior (TPB), the research analyzes how social networks, skills, workexperience, and psychological readiness shape entrepreneurial intentions amongreturnees. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed through thedistribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 100 purposively selected respondentsfrom a popolation of 476 former Indonesian migrant workers in Cihonje Village,Banyumas Regency. The four variables, namely social capital, human capital, psychological capital, and entrepreneurial intention, were measured using validatesindicators and analiyzed with PLS-SEM.The finding indicate that social capital and human capital positively andsignificantly influence entrepreneurial intentions. Psychological capital alsodemonstrates a strong direct effect and serves as a partial mediator thatstrengthens the relationship between both forms of capital and entrepreneurialintention. The R-Square value of 0,803 reflects strong predictive power of themodel, while the value of 0,604 for psychological capital confirms its essentialmediating role. These results highlight the importance of social support, competence development, and psychological readiness in fostering entrepreneurialbehavior. The study recommends empowerment programs that integrate social,skill-bassed and psychological components to enchance the economicindependence of former Indonesian migrant workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, brand image, and word-of-mouth recommendations on the decision to purchase Wardah cosmetics in Purwokerto. This study involved 120 students from Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto, Jenderal Soedirman University, and UIN Saizu Purwokerto who had used Wardah cosmetics, using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 through external and internal model evaluation. The validity (AVE > 0.5) and reliability (Composite Reliability > 0.7) test results showed that all instruments were valid and reliable. The research results were tested based on the path coefficient value and P value (< 0.05). The results show that product quality, brand image, and word of mouth recommendations have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase Wardah cosmetics in Purwokerto. The contribution of this study lies in the integration of the word of mouth variable into the cosmetic purchase decision model, thereby providing a more comprehensive understanding of the role of consumer-to-consumer communication in influencing purchase decisions, particularly for local cosmetic products among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Lifestyle, Brand Image, Brand Awareness, and Product Quality on iPhone purchasing decisions among college students in Purwokerto. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 108 students from three universities. Data analysis employed validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, F-tests, and t-tests using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that brand image and product quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while lifestyle and brand awareness do not show significant effects. The regression model obtained an Adjusted R Square of 0.572, meaning that 57.2% of purchasing decisions are explained by the four variables studied. These findings suggest that rational cognitive evaluation through product quality and emotional affective responses related to brand image are dominant factors influencing iPhone purchasing decisions among students in Purwokerto.

Abstract

High turnover intention in the healthcare sector is a strategic challenge because it can disrupt service continuity and increase the workload of both medical and non-medical personnel. This study aims to analyze the influence of Absenteeism, Affective Organizational Commitment, Organizational Justice, and Alternative Job Opportunities on Turnover Intention in health facility employees by referring to Social Exchange Theory. This study used a quantitative approach through a survey involving a population of 524 employees, with a final sample of 235 respondents working in three hospitals. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the relationship between variables. The results showed that Absenteeism and Alternative Job Opportunities had a significant positive effect on Turnover Intention, indicating that absenteeism and external job opportunities were strong driving factors for turnover intention. Meanwhile, Affective Organizational Commitment and Organizational Justice did not show a significant effect. The research model was able to explain some of the variance in turnover intention, indicating that behavioral factors and labor market dynamics were more dominant in shaping employee turnover decisions. These findings provide important implications for hospital management to strengthen retention strategies through controlling absenteeism, improving perceptions of fairness, and providing more competitive career development paths.
