The analysis is performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework. The results indicate that individual characteristics, job characteristics, work experience, and quality of work life each have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Affective Events Theory explains how internal and external factors trigger positive emotions, thereby strengthening employees' emotional attachment, so it is recommended to optimize these factors to increase organizational commitment.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study analyzes the forms and functions of code-mixing in the language used during the E-KTP megacorruption trial and explores its implications for teaching Indonesian Language and Literature at the senior high school level. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the data were drawn from transcripts of selected trial sessions obtained from CNN Indonesia’s YouTube channel. The dataset is limited to courtroom utterances produced by judges, prosecutors, and witnesses. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data consists of transcripts of the E-KTP Megacorruption trial taken from videos on CNN Indonesia's YouTube channel. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation and observation, while data analysis included reduction, presentation, and drawing and verification of conclusions.. Main Findings: The analysis identifies 21 instances of code-mixing, consisting of 12 words and 9 phrases. Code-mixing primarily functions as a tool of social control, particularly to clarify legal terms and convey perspectives within formal judicial discourse. Most code-mixed forms have equivalent expressions in Indonesian without altering meaning. This study is limited by its focus on a single legal case and a relatively small dataset. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on code-mixing in Indonesian courtroom discourse, an area rarely examined in previous studies that mainly address informal contexts. Additionally, the study contributes pedagogically by applying legal discourse findings to the teaching of negotiation texts in secondary education.

Abstract

High turnover intention in the healthcare sector is a strategic challenge because it can disrupt service continuity and increase the workload of both medical and non-medical personnel. This study aims to analyze the influence of Absenteeism, Affective Organizational Commitment, Organizational Justice, and Alternative Job Opportunities on Turnover Intention in health facility employees by referring to Social Exchange Theory. This study used a quantitative approach through a survey involving a population of 524 employees, with a final sample of 235 respondents working in three hospitals. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the relationship between variables. The results showed that Absenteeism and Alternative Job Opportunities had a significant positive effect on Turnover Intention, indicating that absenteeism and external job opportunities were strong driving factors for turnover intention. Meanwhile, Affective Organizational Commitment and Organizational Justice did not show a significant effect. The research model was able to explain some of the variance in turnover intention, indicating that behavioral factors and labor market dynamics were more dominant in shaping employee turnover decisions. These findings provide important implications for hospital management to strengthen retention strategies through controlling absenteeism, improving perceptions of fairness, and providing more competitive career development paths.

This study aims to analyze the usefulness of digital applications for motor vehicle tax payments. The TAM and TPB models are frameworks for explaining the behavior of technology users towards digital samsat applications. The ease of using the digital Samsat application is expected to increase the effectiveness of the ease of tax payment transactions, compliance, and increase regional original income from the motor vehicle tax sector. This research is important to do because it has an impact on the ability to increase regional income from the PKB sector for one period or one year. The results of the study involving 108 respondents showed that the use of digital samsat applications is highly dependent on taxpayer behavior. Taxpayer behavior in this study was able to mediate the relationship between perceived usefulness and use of digital Samsat applications. This shows a change in the attitudes and behavior of taxpayers who increasingly require effectiveness and efficiency in the tax payment process. Taxpayer behavior has not been able to mediate the relationship between ease, security and quality in the use of digital Samsat applications. This can also be seen as an independent variable, taxpayer behavior does not affect the use of digital samsat applications. Perceptions of ease, security and quality of digital samsat have an influence on the use of digital PKB applications. While ease and benefits do not affect the digital samsat application.
