Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of professional competence on students' morals, to determine the influence and exemplary attitude towards student morals and to determine the effect of professional competence and teacher exemplary on student morals at MTsN 9 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using multiple correlations to determine the closeness of the relationship between the variables of professional competence (X1) and teacher exemplary (X2) on student morals (Y.) The population in this study were all class IX students of MTsN 9 Hulu. Sungai Tengah, which amounts to 158 people with a total sample of 61 people, uses the Slovin formula. The results showed that the effect of professional competence and teacher exemplary on student morals at MTsN 9 Hulu Sungai Tengah in 2020 can be concluded as follows: First, there is a very significant difference between professional competence and student morals. From the calculation of the correlation between X1 to Y amounted to 18.1%. Second, there is a significant influence between the exemplary teacher and student morals. From the results of the calculation of the correlation between X2 and Y of 50.9%. Third, there is a very significant influence between professional competence and teacher exemplary together on student morals. From the results of the calculation of the correlation using multiple regression analysis, it was found that the correlation R between X1 and X2 simultaneously to Y was 51.1%.

Abstract

Pandemic covid19 outbreaks brings many impacts in education sectors including to conduct and maintain teaching and learning at university. This study evaluates the use of digital online learning hosted by Islamic university in Indonesia. Students’ anxiety in joining and following the distance classroom is the major factor that was analyzed. quantitative approach was used to get and investigated the data beyond the sample students of university. Throwing the students’ perception in the online survey which was conducted to portray the data on the why students felt anxiety to get the digital online learning. Research findings explain about the students owning technological items in supporting students’ online learning and students’ anxiety while attending and joining the online classroom. The discussion discloses about 1) the readiness of students’ having online devices, internet settings, and students’ literacy in using online technology. 2) Moreover, it also elaborates students’ anxiety claiming that digital online learning scared and make them less confidence, bad feeling, and lack of enthusiastic to study. the writer concludes that students presume these followings; -prefer having online classroom using smartphones android rather than laptop/computer pc, -got trouble in internet connection while having online classroom, - sacrifice much money to consume internet quota to join online learning, - scared students due to the equipment needed, - do not feel confidence in joining the lesson due to many obstacles and barriers.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the character through the domain of cognition and behavior. That the domain of cognition and behavior consists of three domains of intelligence; Cognitive, affective and psychomotor play an important role in shaping personality. However, it should be realized that each domain has a specific function in stimulating the pattern of autonomous psychological traits. The method used is qualitative analysis based on critical analysis approach. The results of the study show that there are various patterns of individual character in thinking, acting and acting. Observing the existence of function limitations, it is necessary to balance the internal domains, harmonize and synergize them with other domains. This is intended so that the internalization of positive values ​​instilled in each domain for the formation of good character can be carried out in a directed, simultaneous and optimal manner. Full awareness (conscious awareness) thinking activities that are connected through the work function of the brain can basically build connectedness and influence each other between domains in shaping behavior. Its optimization requires harmonization between body and spirit, mind and heart, knowledge and charity. With it, the intellectual clarity that a person has is not only in the normative-idealistic but empirical-applicative aspects. Ihsan, who has a core of moral values, is able to move conscious awareness while still standing on his strong individuality to also bring benefits among others, including relationships with his natural environment.

Abstract

The need for various innovations in Islamic religious learning in schools is a necessity that must be carried out to develop the quality of education. One aspect that allows innovation in learning is the use of methods that vary according to the situation and condition of the class. The use of appropriate methods in learning is one of the steps that must be taken in order to achieve learning objectives. The proverbs method can be an alternative in responding to the demands of innovation and variation in the learning process. This study aims to describe the concept of the proverb method and its implementation in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Sources of data obtained from various books, books, and journal articles will be analyzed and presented in the form of a description. The results of the research show that the proverb method is a method of simulating something abstract with something more concrete and easy to understand. The Proverbs method also gives and motivates people to act according to the purpose of the parable if it is something the soul likes; on the other hand, it also encourages people not to act like the parable because it is something that is hated by the human conscience.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the habituation of religious activities to shape the religious character of students in ibtidaiyah madrasahs based on the perspective of empiricist philosophy. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses the miles and huberman model which is divided into three activities in data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. the philosophy of empiricism states that the environment greatly influences the formation of character and knowledge. The religious activities carried out will be experience and knowledge. Experience or knowledge that is carried out repeatedly will be a habituation that is expected to continue to be applied not only in the secluded but also in the home or community.
