Abstract

The fact that LKPD is still presented to students at school in the form of handouts printed by teachers is the inspiration for this research. The aim of this research is to create an E-LKPD product using the Nearpod application built on the RADEC platform. Development research using the ADDIE development model is this type of research. Research tools include questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the elementary school level E-LKPD supported by the RADEC-based Nearpod application are classified as very valid. In the very practical field on the practicality questionnaire, both teacher response scores and student scores are very practical. The N-Gain score % test is applied to the efficacy category. So the resulting E-LKPD can be said to meet the criteria of being correct, useful and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The percentage test of the N-Gain score in the effective category is used to measure effectiveness. Therefore, it can be said that the E-LKPD implemented has fulfilled all valid, practical and effective criteria for improving student learning outcomes in science and science subjects using the Nearpod application based on radec as well as interest and enthusiasm for learning

Abstract

This research was conducted because of several findings in the field in the form of technological devices, facilities and infrastructure that are still not being utilized optimally by teachers in the learning process to support interesting and enjoyable learning. E-book teaching material based on the PBL model assisted by the kvisoft flipbook maker application in class IV elementary school which is valid, practical and effective as a solution to overcome the problems found in initial observations. This research activity uses a type of Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. At the analysis stage, observations and interviews were carried out with teachers and students at three schools, namely SDS IT Dar El Iman, SDIT Sabihisma 1, and SDIT Sabihisma 2, Padang city. At the design stage, a teaching material was designed based on the facts obtained. At the development stage, the teaching material that had been designed was validated to find out whether the product was valid for implementation expert validators (material, language and media) as well as one expert from the FGD teacher so that an overall average validation result of 89.33% was obtained with a very valid category. The results obtained after evaluating the practicality test of the teacher response questionnaire with an average score of 93.30% were in the very practical category and the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 88.59% which was in the very practical category. In the effectiveness test, the learning outcomes obtained an average score of 91.16 with an N-Gain Score of 67.15%, including the quite effective category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SDN 10 Bandar Buat, Padang City, which is caused by teacher-centered learning and a lack of linking the material to real contexts. This study aims to describe the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RMAT) approach in improving learning outcomes on plane geometry material. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 28 fifth-grade students of SDN 10 Bandar Buat, Padang City. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The research instruments were observation sheets for teaching modules, teacher and student activities, and evaluation questions. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed an increase in the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. The average value of learning outcomes increased from 68.33 in cycle I to 84.56 in cycle II. In addition, teacher and student activities also increased with a very good category in cycle II. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) approach is able to improve the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 10 Bandar Buat, Padang City.

Abstract

Although ethnomathematics has been widely examined in previous research, studies that specifically integrate the traditional food getuk as a concrete medium in the development of Canva-based student worksheets (LKPD) for teaching fraction addition remain very limited. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Canva-based LKPD incorporating ethnomathematical representations of getuk in improving students’ ability to solve word problems involving fraction addition. A quantitative approach was employed using a 4-D Research and Development (R&D) design, involving 25 fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through classroom observations, expert validation, and formative tests, and were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and descriptive statistics. The results indicate that the developed LKPD falls into the “highly valid” category in terms of language, content, and visual design, and is effective in improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by a Z value of –4.548 with p < 0.001. These findings reinforce constructivist and ethnomathematical theory by demonstrating that concrete experiences grounded in local cultural practices can facilitate deeper understanding of fraction concepts. The study concludes by underscoring the importance of integrating local cultural media into the development of contextual teaching materials, recommending the use of getuk as a concrete medium in fraction instruction, and opening avenues for further research employing stronger experimental designs and larger sample sizes.
