Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of children's ability to recognize hijaiyah letters, differentiate hijaiyah letters and have not been able to pronounce hijaiyah letters correctly. This study aims to explain efforts to improve the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in early childhood with the help of the iqro' book at TK IT Khadijah Al Kubro. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This study consists of two cycles, consisting of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were group B, totaling 15 people. The results of the research and assessment of this PTK showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in early childhood with the help of the iqro' book, namely: it was proven that in the pre-cycle it was only 20%, increasing in cycle 1 to 33.3%, until in cycle 2 it reached a maximum increase of 87%. In addition, the efforts made by teachers in introducing the hijaiyah letters to early childhood at TK IT Khadijah Al Kubro are one by one reciting or reading the hijaiyah letters guided by the teacher using the iqro book. In addition, teachers also introduce the hijaiyah letters by writing several hijaiyah letters on the board.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that children's letter recognition abilities at Khadijah Al-Kubro Kindergarten had not developed optimally. The problem in this research is "Can the use of picture letter card media improve the ability to recognize letters in the Khadijah Alkubro Bangkinang City Kindergarten?". The aim of the research is to determine the increase in the ability to recognize letters by using picture letter card media in the Khadijah Alkubro Bangkinang City Kindergarten. This research method is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. This research was carried out from 29 August 2024 - 05 September 2024. The subjects in this research were children aged 5-6 years at Khadijah Al-Kubro Kindergarten, namely 15 children. Data collection in this research used observation and documentation sheets. The results of this research show that in cycle I there was an increase to 56% and in cycle II there was an increase to 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of picture letter cards can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 5-6 years at Khadijah Al- Kubro Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of reading hijaiyah letters using the tilawati method in group A children of TK 011 Permataku. The ability to read hijaiyah letters studied is to read hijaiyah letters randomly and distinguish hijaiyah letters that are almost similar. This type of research is class action research. The subjects of this study were 15 group A children consisting of 8 boys and 7 girls. The object of this research is the skill of reading hijaiyah letters using the tilawati method. Data collection techniques through observation and tests. Data analysis techniques carried out descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The success indicator in this study is said to be successful if the ability to read hijaiyah letters with good categories has reached a minimum percentage of 86%. The results showed that the ability to read hijaiyah letters can be improved through the tilawati method. The success is done with steps, reading together using tilawati props, giving children the opportunity to read alone using tilawati tones, giving greater opportunities to children whose improvement in the ability to read hijaiyah letters is still difficult and the teacher motivates and accompanies the child. The increase can be seen from the change in good criteria in each cycle, at the time of pre-action showing the results of 14%, then began to increase in Cycle I by 46% and in Cycle II by 86%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in language skills of children aged 5-6 years, Adiba Islamic School Kindergarten, Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District. This research is motivated by the lack of variety in learning and there are still many children who have not been able to reach language proficiency indicators. This research is classroom action research (CAR) The subjects of this research were 15 children in the arrahim class at Adiba Islamic School Kindergarten, while the object of this research is chain message games and the development of language skills. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle holding 2 meetings. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and documentation. Based on the results of research before the action, in the not yet developing category there were 7 children (46.6%), in the beginning to develop category there were 7 children (46.6%), in the developing according to expectations category there was 1 child (6.6%). In cycle II, children's language abilities experienced a significant increase. There are no more children in the underdeveloped category. 5 children (33.3%) were in the starting to develop category, 3 children (20%) were in the developing as expected category, and there were 7 children (46.6%) in the very well developing category. Thus, it can be concluded that the chain message game can improve the language skills of kindergarten children at Adiba Islamic School, Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District.

Abstract

For Generation Z learners, academic writing presents a paradox in higher education. While it offers valuable benefits, it also poses notable challenges (e.g., limited development of critical thinking skills, insufficient academic literacy, and a lack of familiarity with scientific writing conventions). In response to this paradox, project-based language learning (PBLL) and learning technologies offer innovative avenues to improve students’ writing products and processes. This article aims to develop and articulate the Technology-Infused Project-Based Language Learning (TIPBLL) model as a conceptual framework for academic writing instruction. Methodologically, this article employs a qualitative conceptual analysis through a structured synthesis of literature on PBLL, technology-enhanced language learning, academic writing pedagogy, and digital technology integration, particularly artificial intelligence. The TIPBLL model integrates PBLL principles, digital technology infusion, and academic writing pedagogy into a unified framework. This article analyses significant learning theories and pedagogical perspectives, including sociocultural theory, the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), the dual focus of writing (form and function), and PBLL within the PLATE framework. The findings of the conceptual synthesis highlight conceptual deficiencies in the literature, particularly the tendency to treat projects, technology, and writing as separate components. TIPBLL is then introduced as a learning model that positions technology as an integral component embedded across the stages of project-based academic writing. The article also discusses TIPBLL’s future directions for research and pedagogical practice. Overall, TIPBLL offers a potential framework for building academic writing instruction that is more authentic, collaborative, reflective, and aligned with the demands of 21st-century digital literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini dilaksanakan pada siswa di SMA Muhammadyah Bangkinang Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh penggunaan teknik pemetaan cerita terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa terhadap narasi teks di sma muhammadyah bangkinang. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test dan post test kuasi-eksperimental Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 42 siswa dari total dua kelas. Sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yang menghasilkan dua kelas dengan jumlah 23 dan 19 siswa di tiap kelas Kedua kelas tersebut kemudian ditempatkan secara acak ke dalam kelas eksperimental dan kontrol Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melaksanakan prosedur pemberian pre-test dan post-test. Pre test diberikan untuk melihat kemampuan dasar siswa dalam membaca sebelum penerapan metode Diskusi pemetaan cerita dilakukan. Posttest akan mengukur efektivitas penerapan metode Diskusi pemetaan cerita terhadap prestasi membaca siswa. Data dikumpulkan darı 30 item tes yang diuji kepada siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode Diskusi pemetaan cerita. Data dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS 22.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata tulas mahasiswa pada Pretest adalah 52.91 dan 58.84 pada Posttest Data analisis menunjukkan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.004 <0.05 itu berarti Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan teknik pemetaan cerita terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa terhadap narasi teks di sma muhammadyah bangkinang.
