Abstract

Indonesia’s beef market has long exhibited structural volatility, which became more pronounced during major disruptions such as COVID-19. Analyzing these fluctuations across different periods is crucial for strengthening market resilience. This paper examines beef price volatility in Indonesia across three critical periods, before the pandemic (2017–2019), during the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020 – June 2023), and after the pandemic (June 2023 onward), and identifies the key factors influencing it. Daily price data for beef, chicken meat, and eggs were obtained from the Indonesian Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) for 2017–2024 and analyzed using the GARCH (1,1) model and logarithmic regression with crisis dummy variables. The results show that beef price volatility increased significantly during the pandemic and remained high in the new normal period, confirming the long-term persistence of price shocks. Significant influencing factors include the COVID-19 pandemic, seasonal events (Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr), the price and volatility of chicken meat, and lagged beef imports from previous periods. The methodological contribution of this study lies in the use of daily data and a time-lag structure that captures short-term dynamics more accurately. These results underscore the need for structural reform, daily price monitoring systems, and adaptive market intervention to strengthen Indonesia’s food security and market resilience.

Abstract

Financial feasibility analysis was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of cassava farming based on the financial performance of the business. This study aims to analyze income and financial feasibility as well as the sensitivity of changes in production factors and cassava yield in Tlogowungu District, Pati Regency. The research was carried out over four months, from April to July 2025, in Lahar Village, Tlogosari Village, Regaloh Village, Suwatu Village, and Cabak Village, Tlogowungu District, Pati Regency. The research method used was a survey method with a total sample of 70 cassava farmers, determined through simple random sampling. The research data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. Statistical data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS statistical tests. The results of the study showed that the average cassava farm area was 2.45 ha, with productivity of 17,629 kg/ha, average production of 43,191 kg, and an average selling price of Rp1,844/kg. The total farming cost amounted to Rp33,892,956/ha/MT, while the revenue reached Rp82,381,143/ha/MT, and the income was Rp48,488,187/ha/MT. The EAT (Earnings After Tax) was Rp48,483,220/ha/MT, with a BEP (Break-Even Point) of 18,321 kg in units and Rp691/kg in currency value. The profitability ratio was 57.77%, indicating that cassava farming is profitable. The investment feasibility analysis showed a B/C ratio of 2.13, an NPV (including land investment) of -Rp265,933,808, and an NPV (excluding land investment) of Rp130,401,907, indicating that the farming enterprise is financially feasible. The IRR (Internal Rate of Return) was 293.65%, and the Payback Period (PP) was 35 months, which further confirms that cassava farming is feasible to operate. The sensitivity analysis revealed that a 10% increase in production costs, a 10% decrease in selling prices, and a combination of both cost increases and output decreases are sensitive to the financial feasibility of cassava farming.

Abstract

Tapioca flour production at CV Harum Mekar fluctuates. This condition causes losses, so the company needs to address the risks that occur. This study aims to analyze the level of risk, analyze the occurrence and sources of production risks, and to analyze effective mitigation strategies to address risks in the tapioca flour production process at CV Harum Mekar. The study was conducted in September-October 2025 at CV Harum Mekar. The location was determined purposively based on the consideration that the company is engaged in the agribusiness sector. The research method used is a case study with a quantitative approach. The sampling method uses purposive respondents consisting of 7 key informants. Data analysis uses the coefficient of variance (CV) and House of Risk (HOR). The results are that the risk level at CV Harum Mekar is classified as very high with a CV value of 39.88%. HOR Phase 1 indicates there are 15 risk events and 22 risk sources. The priority sources of risk obtained are lack of accuracy of packaging and storage workers, climate change, too high cassava prices, leaking storage warehouse roofs, less than optimal water quantity during the extraction process, intensive water change frequency, less dense grater eyes, unbalanced flour supply with flash dryer temperature, too much water quantity during the separation process and flour that falls on the floor is repackaged. Risk management strategies obtained 12 strategies with 5 priority strategies, namely more intensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training in each field for employees, more careful supervision at each stage of production, more intensive SOP training for machines for employees, making warehouse maintenance and machine replacement schedules and making contracts with cassava farmers.

Abstract

Rice prices play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economic stability and public welfare, as rice remains the country’s primary staple food commodity. Price fluctuations are influenced by various internal factors, such as production and stock levels, as well as external factors like exchange rates and import volume. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting rice prices in Indonesia during the period of January to November 2024. The data used are monthly time-series secondary data obtained from the Badan Pangan Nasional, Badan Pusat Statistik, and Bank Indonesia. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with six independent variables: production volume, demand, import volume, exchange rate, 2023 rice price, and national rice stock, and one dependent variable, the 2024 rice price. The results show that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on rice prices, with an F-value of 9.042 and a significance level of 0.026 (<0.05). Partially, production volume and national rice stock have a significant influence on rice prices, while other variables show no significant effect. The adjusted R² value of 0.842 indicates that 84.2% of the variation in rice prices is explained by the model, with the remainder influenced by external factors. These findings confirm that domestic factors, particularly production and national rice stock, are the main determinants of rice price stability in Indonesia.

Abstract

The concept of worship in every church has different understandings and views. This affects how a servant and congregation can carry out a service properly. Each finds a different understanding based on Bible digging and a group's agreement on worship. However, many also view worship as a routine or ritual that is carried out in a rigid and serious manner and ignores the philosophy and essence of worship. This study uses a qualitative method with an expositional approach to the text of Psalm 100:1-5, especially in the words jubilation and rejoicing to find the principles that will be used in Biblical worship procedures. The principles found will become a basic material that will be extracted into a pattern or arrangement that is applied to worship. The goal is that every church that does not have a Biblical concept or procedure for worship can adopt and adapt it according to the needs and doctrines of each church. The result is that worship can run well with the right expression, the right implementation, and the right motivation.

Abstract

The study, conducted in May 2024, focused on searching the Scopus.com database for literature on biopores, resulting in 208 articles published between 1985 and 2024 as the final dataset. Metadata was obtained from Scopus.com and analyzed descriptively. The dataset was exported into Excel CSV format and subsequently processed using VOSViewer (VV) version 1.6.20 to provide a clear overview of the research landscape. Findings revealed variations in the number of publications on biopores over time, with Kautz recognized as the most prolific scholar. The main publication outlets included the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, Soil and Tillage Research, and Geoderma. The dominant document categories were journal articles, conference proceedings, and reviews. Germany, the United States, and Indonesia emerged as the leading contributors to biopore-related research. Influential institutions in this field were the University of Bonn, Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF e.V.), and the University of Copenhagen. The results further indicated that biopores contribute significantly to enhancing soil organic carbon, thereby improving soil fertility and agricultural productivity. Moreover, biopores were shown to be an effective approach for managing organic waste by transforming it into compost, which in turn supports higher land productivity.
