Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the stages of students' onto-semiotic approach to solving mathematical problems. This research is based on the mathematical object of the onto-semiotic approach, namely language, concepts, propositions, procedures, situations, and arguments. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological type. The research subjects were high school students of eleventh grade. The technique of taking the subject is using a purposeful sampling technique. The research instrument used a test in the form of a linear program description question. The results of the study show that the onto-semiotic approach contains language stages including changing contextual objects into variables, writing mathematical symbols, writing mathematical models, and others; the concept stage includes students creating and filling in tables by grouping the objects in the problem to make it easier to solve mathematical problems; the proposition stage consists of the reasons students cannot replace variables; the procedure stage include simplifying coefficients and constants, how to get the value of each variable, and others; the situation stage includes writing a mathematical model that will be used to find the value of each variable, find the point of intersection of the line, and others.

Abstract

Multimedia pembelajaran adalah salah satu sarana pendidikan yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa untuk memahami materi matematika yang bersifat abstrak. Terlebih untuk siswa tunagrahita yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam berpikir. Siswa tunagrahita sangat membutuhkan keberadaan multimedia pembelajaran. Akan tetapi, pada kenyataannya ketersediaan multimedia pembelajaran untuk siswa tunagrahita masih sedikit, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa tunagrahita terutama pada materi operasi hitung penjumlahan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kelayakan multimedia pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi pada siswa tunagrahita. Pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif yang diungkapkan dalam distribusi skor dan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari penilaian ahli dan uji coba, multimedia pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat valid dengan skor 5,00. Kepraktisan multimedia pembelajaran memperoleh skor 4,777 dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil tes prestasi belajar siswa berhasil mencapai KKM, serta respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat positif dengan persentase 92%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran efektif. Sehingga multimedia pembelajaran layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi pada siswa tunagrahita.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku matematika bergambar yang valid dan praktis, serta menyebarluaskannya kepada pengguna sebagai upaya pengembangan pembangunan pendidikan berkelanjutan melalui program peningkatan literasi numerasi dan penguatan implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan pengembangan atau Reseach and Development (RD). Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV SD pada salah sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Kudus. Sebelum produk diujicobakan secara terbatas di sekolah maka dilakukan kegiatan validasi terlebih dahulu kepada tiga pakar yakni pakar konten matematika, pakar kebahasaan dan pakar media pembelajaran. Hal ini dilakukan agar prouk yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan apa yang menjadi tujuan penelitian. Untuk melihat keefektifan dari produk yang dikembangkan maka dilakukan analisis n-gain ternormalisasi. Hasil dari uji coba skala terbatas diperoleh data bahwa produk berupa buku matematika bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas IV dengan kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi penelitian lain dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penelitian lanjutan misalnya dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran berupa komik 3D untuk siswa diskalkulia atau siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dalam matematik.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a teaching module product based on Fort Van Der Wijck's ethnomathematics to improve students' numeracy skills in plane material and determine the feasibility of the product in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The type of research used is the research and development method (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen in class VII students using a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The research results obtained by the validity analysis from the assessment of material, media, and cultural experts obtained an average of 3.73 valid criteria. The practicality analysis of the response questionnaire obtained an average of 98.25% very positive criteria. Analysis of the effectiveness of the student learning evaluation test results with a completeness of 90% with an average score of 89.6 and an average Gain score of 0.70 or medium predicate. The results of the students' numeration ability test with 85% completeness with an average of 7.81 and an average Gain score of 0.499 or moderate predicate. These data indicate that the teaching modules developed in this study are feasible to use.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is entering the era of the digital world where it is a special challenge for schools to be able to keep up with changing times. Teachers and students must be able to keep up with technological developments so that they have digital literacy competencies that are used to operate various learning technologies. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the stages of development of the e-module project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile (P5) with the theme of local wisdom for elementary school students in phase B. The subjects of this research are elementary school students. The research method used in this research is RnD (Research and Development) with the ADDIE research model. However, in this research the researchers only used the initial stages, namely analysis and design. The results of the independent curriculum analysis show that the researchers designed the creation of e-module media with the theme of local wisdom with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile being creative, global diversity and independence. Media development is carried out in an effort to increase students' digital literacy. In making the product, researchers used Microsoft Word and Canva software to design the module, then the team carried out the design process through the Heyzine application. There are various product improvement processes to obtain the best design.  The implications of this research are The use of digital technology in this E-Module encourages students to be more active and critical in understanding the material, which in turn improves their digital literacy skills.

Abstract

The Impact of synchronous Learning on Educators' Workload The coronavirus outbreak, particularly in the Republic of Indonesia and the Russian Federation, has fundamentally altered the teaching and learning process. The in-person teaching and learning process transitions to an online format. Educators and learners must be prepared for execution. Educators must adapt their instructional methods for online platforms to ensure the continuity of teaching and learning. This presents significant obstacles and obligations, particularly for educators who are initiating the online teaching process. This study aimed to ascertain if Synchronous Learning exacerbates the physical, mental, and financial burdens on teachers. The employed methodology was quantitative, utilizing an online-distributed questionnaire as the tool. The research samples comprised 20 educators employed at private senior vocational institutions in Indonesia and Russia. The teacher burdens variable indicates that the average responder perceives the burden as high, as seen by an average value of 0.730, which falls within the range of 0.501 to 1. This concludes that Synchronous Learning significantly increases instructors' workloads. It proves that synchronous learning imposes additional physical, emotional, and financial burdens on teachers.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penggunaan pengajaran yang berbeda di sekolah dasar menjadi subjek latar belakang penelitian ini. Selain memahami keterbatasan penggunaan pembelajaran yang berbeda oleh instruktur, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjamin bahwa semua siswa saat ini memiliki akses ke kesempatan belajar yang disesuaikan dengan minat, bakat, dan gaya belajar masing-masing. Dengan menggunakan observasi kelas dalam berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran dan wawancara dengan guru kelas empat, penelitian ini menghimpun data dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Guru dan instruktur kelas empat SDN Doplang menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Beberapa tantangan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran yang berbeda disorot oleh temuan penelitian ini. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berbeda terhambat oleh batasan waktu. Mengelola ruang kelas secara efektif adalah tantangan berikutnya dengan pengajaran yang berbeda. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian ini, para pendidik harus memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang logistik penerapan pengajaran yang berbeda di kelas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi TAI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo. Rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa menjadikan latar belakang penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengamatan (observation), Tes Kemampuan Numerasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan soal tes berbentuk essay pada tiap siklus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa dan persentase ketuntasan siswa yaitu pada siklus I dan siklus II. Pada observasi siklus I persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 63,125% dan dengan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 18,35%. Sedangkan pada siklus II persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 86,875% dan dengan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 81,25%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo dengan ditandai meningkatnya hasil tes kemampuan numerasi.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, students' critical thinking skills are still low, so teaching materials that support learning are needed. In the learning process, educators have not developed teaching materials that are following technological advances, and existing teaching materials use more routine questions so that students only accept and follow the flow and rules rather than experimenting and finding answers or solutions on their own. Therefore, this study aims to produce an open-ended based mathematics e-module product on a system of two-variable linear equations for class VIII students of junior high school, to determine the feasibility of the product in terms of valid, practical, and effectiveness, to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills after using e-module. This is development research with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at a Public Middle School in Purworejo for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through questionnaires and tests. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques use validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The results of this study are open-ended-based mathematics e-modules to improve students' critical thinking skills. The product test results showed that the e-module validity score obtained a percentage of 80% from material experts and 82.5% from media experts. The results of the practicality test of the e-module obtained a percentage of 78% from the limited test and a percentage of 74% from the wide test. The results of the effectiveness of open-ended-based mathematics e-module products, namely the N-Gain test, obtained 0.6 in the medium category. The data shows that the e-module developed in this study is categorized as feasible. Students' critical thinking skills after using open-ended-based mathematics e-modules have increased.

Abstract

The current mathematics learning process is often conducted in a blended manner, combining offline and online learning. Therefore, online learning requires instructional media that support the learning process and are appealing to students. However, the instructional media currently used to support online learning are limited and less relevant. This study aims to develop interactive mathematics learning media in the form of ethnomathematics-based e-comics that are valid, practical, and effective for middle school students. The research method employed is development research using the ADDIE model. The research subjects included middle school teachers and students. In the limited trial phase, 2 teacher and 32 students participated, while the large-scale trial involved 3 teachers and 57 students. Data collection instruments consisted of validation sheets for material and media experts, student response questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test questions validated by experts. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to assess the feasibility of the product. The research findings indicate that the ethnomathematics-based e-comic learning media are valid and practical. Furthermore, the e-comics meet the effectiveness criteria, as they enhance students' numeracy skills after the learning process. Therefore, the e-comics developed in this study can serve as a reference for mathematics learning media that meet current student needs.
