Abstract

Agro Eduwisata Organik (AEWO) Mulyaharja di Kota Bogor merupakan destinasi wisata edukatif berbasis pertanian organik dengan potensi besar dalam pertanian berkelanjutan, konservasi lingkungan, dan wisata berbasis masyarakat. Namun, pengelolaan wisata edukatif masih menghadapi tantangan. Melalui Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM), dilakukan pemberdayaan Pokdarwis melalui penguatan kompetensi komunikasi, penyusunan modul edukasi, pengembangan sarana edukasi, dan strategi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan selama tiga bulan ini melibatkan 18 anggota Pokdarwis melalui sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan penyusunan modul edukasi dengan nilai N-Gain 55,11 (kategori sedang) serta peningkatan signifikan pada strategi promosi digital dengan N-Gain 72,25 (kategori tinggi). Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi modul edukasi, buklet paket wisata, video promosi pertanian organik, dan pembangunan Eco Agro Station sebagai sarana edukasi. Program ini memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan, meningkatkan kemandirian Pokdarwis, memperluas jangkauan promosi digital, serta mendukung ekonomi kerakyatan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pengembangan agroeduwisata organik berbasis masyarakat.

Abstract

One of the major challenges in biology education is students’ limited understanding of abstract and interconnected concepts, particularly in the topic of the immune system, which requires higher order thinking skills. Teacher centered learning and the limited availability of engaging instructional materials often make it difficult for students to recognize the relationships among concepts within a system as a whole. Therefore, innovative learning media are needed to develop students’ systemic thinking skills. This study aims to develop a problem based e-module to enhance students’ systemic thinking abilities on the immune system material. The research employed an R&D approach using the ADDIE model. In the analysis stage, needs assessment was conducted to examine learners’ needs, curriculum requirements, and learning characteristics. The design stage produced an e-module prototype equipped with interactive components such as videos and QR codes. The development stage involved creating the e-module and carrying out validation by content experts, media experts, and language experts. In this study, the development process was limited to the development stage because the primary focus was to produce a learning medium that was judged to be feasible by experts. The validation results indicated that the content experts assessed the e-module as highly feasible for use. The media expert also concluded that the graphical design, content presentation, and language use were categorized as highly feasible. Although media validation was conducted only once, several suggestions for improvement were provided, including adding game based quizzes, embedding hyperlinks to support QR code features, and providing clearer instructions for accessing the embedded learning videos. It can be concluded that the developed e-module is highly feasible for classroom use and is recommended for broader implementation in biology learning.

Abstract

Development of E-magazine with Fliphtml5. The utilization of digital media in learning is one of the innovations to increase effectiveness and student engagement, especially at the elementary school level. This study aims to develop a FlipHTML5-assisted e-magazine on the material “How I Grow Up” for fifth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam Kota Bogor. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media was developed using the Canva application and converted into an interactive flipbook through the FlipHTML5 platform, then validated by material, media, and language experts, and tested on 22 students. Data analysis was done descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The validation results showed that the e-magazine was in the “very feasible” category with an average expert score of 98%. The trial results showed an increase in students' understanding of the material. This media is considered interesting, easy to use, and able to support thematic learning independently or in groups. In conclusion, FlipHTML5-assisted e-magazine is an effective, interactive, and innovative learning media to be used in MI. It is recommended that teachers integrate digital media such as e-magazine in the learning process to enrich teaching methods and improve the quality of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study develops an E-Encyclopedia for the sub-topic "How Breathing Helps Me Perform Daily Activities" within the IPAS subject to enhance interactive learning. Using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the research was conducted at SD Negeri Citeureup 03, Bogor, involving three experts as validators and 34 fifth-grade students. Data collection included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Results showed significant improvement in students' understanding, with an N-Gain score of 67% and increased pretest (76) and posttest (93) scores. Expert validation confirmed the media's high feasibility, receiving positive feedback from teachers and students. The E-Encyclopedia effectively enhances the quality of science education by making learning more interactive and engaging.

Abstract

School leadership plays an important role in shaping organizational culture in educational environments. However, in practice, leadership in schools is often understood merely as the activity of giving instructions, so that teacher participation and collaboration have not developed optimally. This community service activity aims to strengthen school leadership by improving participants’ understanding of strategies for influencing organizational members in order to support the formation of a sustainable school culture. The activity was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Rangkasbitung and involved principals, teachers, and educational staff from several schools in the Rangkasbitung area. The approach used was a participatory approach. The activities were carried out through counseling sessions, interactive discussions, as well as reflection and mentoring related to leadership. The results of the activity show that participants gained a better understanding of influence strategies in leadership and the importance of communication, role modeling, and collaboration in building a sustainable school culture.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a local wisdom–based educational game using the Educaplay platform for the topic “My Roles and Responsibilities in the School and Community Environment”. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study was conducted in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at SDN Bantarkemang 6 Bogor, involving 23 fourth-grade students as participants. The initial stage involved a needs analysis through classroom observation to identify learning problems and requirements. The next stage included designing and developing the educational game by considering both content and interface aspects. The developed product was then validated by experts before being tested with students. The implementation stage involved applying the educational game in classroom learning activities. The findings indicated that the developed educational game achieved a feasibility score of 96%, which categorized it as highly appropriate for classroom use. In addition, students’ responses to the use of the Educaplay educational game were positive, with a response percentage of 89%. These results indicate that the local wisdom–based Educaplay educational game developed in this study is valid and feasible to be used as a learning medium to enhance students’ learning motivation and understanding of the subject matter. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa game edukasi berbasis kearifan lokal dengan memanfaatkan platform Educaplay pada materi “Peran dan Tugasku di Lingkungan Sekolah dan Masyarakat”. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 di kelas IV SDN Bantarkemang 6 Bogor dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 23 peserta didik. Tahap awal penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran menggunakan observasi. Tahap berikutnya adalah perancangan dan pengembangan produk game edukasi yang disesuaikan dengan aspek tampilan serta isi materi pembelajaran. Produk yang telah dikembangkan selanjutnya melalui proses validasi oleh ahli sebelum dilakukan uji coba kepada peserta didik. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan mengujicobakan media pembelajaran tersebut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media game edukasi yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 96% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan game edukasi berbasis Educaplay juga menunjukkan hasil positif dengan persentase sebesar 89%. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta pemahaman materi peserta didik.

Abstract

Learning Science and Social Studies, particularly the topic of landforms, remains challenging because classroom instruction is largely dependent on textbooks, limiting students' opportunities to experience meaningful and contextual learning. Since landform concepts are more easily understood when connected to the surrounding environment, this study aimed to develop an animated learning video based on the local environment of Bogor and examine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving students' conceptual understanding of IPAS. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was tested on 26 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest assessments. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to evaluate the product, while its effectiveness was determined using the N-Gain score. The results indicated that the animated video achieved excellent feasibility, with validation scores of 100% from media experts, 98% from subject matter experts, and 100% from language experts. Positive responses were also obtained from teachers (94.67%) and students (98%). Students' conceptual understanding improved, as reflected by the increase in the mean score from 61.54 on the pretest to 88.62 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.649, categorized as moderate. Therefore, the developed animated video is considered valid, practical, and effective as an alternative instructional medium for IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Low conceptual understanding among students regarding earth surface changes in West Java's geographical context stemmed from limited learning media. Textbooks and two-dimensional images dominated the learning process, making it difficult for students to understand dynamic and abstract phenomena. This study aimed to develop AI-based Animated Flashcards and test their feasibility and effectiveness in improving students' conceptual understanding. The Research and Development (R&D) method was employed using the ADDIE model. The subjects consisted of 17 fifth-grade students. The research instruments included validation sheets for subject matter, language, and media experts, as well as a conceptual understanding test administered via pre-test and post-test. Validation results showed that the developed media achieved 98.5% from media experts, 98% from material experts, and 98% from language experts, categorizing it as highly feasible. The effectiveness test demonstrated an increase in the students' average score from 64.5 in the pretest to 88 in the posttest. The N-Gain analysis yielded a score of 76, falling into the high category. Thus, the AI-based Animated Flashcards on earth surface changes in West Java's geography were highly feasible and effective in enhancing student understanding.
