Abstract

  Pendidikan di abad 21 menuntut para pendidik agar dapat mempersiapkan proses pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik dapat menguasai pembelajaran secara aktif, seperti pemahaman akan konsep-konsep fisika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan hakikat pembelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di salah satu SMAN Jakarta, yakni siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep fisika. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, maka perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengoptimalkan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika yaitu model pembelajaran REACT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika pada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran REACT Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental design berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berupa 2 kelas XI dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering (REACT) dan kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Dengan menganalisis perbedaan antara skor pretest dan posttest serta menghitung gain yang ternormalisasi, hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa pada materi Momentum dan Impuls.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya kesulitan peserta didik dalam mempelajari fisika pada materi gerak rotasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika yang interaktif dan layak digunakan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation atau ADDIE, tetapi pada penelitian ini dibatasi sampai dengan tahap development. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik terkait media pembelajaran fisika berdasarkan kuesioner yang disebar luaskan ke 118 peserta didik pada salah satu SMA di Jakarta. Hasil dari pengumpulan data menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 67 peserta didik (56,8%) menganggap materi gerak rotasi pada bab dinamika gerak kelas XI adalah yang paling sulit dipelajari serta sebanyak 112 peserta didik (94,9%) membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang berbentuk website untuk mempelajari materi tersebut. Peserta didik menganggap perlu adanya model pembelajaran selain ceramah dan diskusi agar lebih mudah memahami fisika, sebanyak 86 peserta didik (72,9%) belum mengetahui model pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension (ICARE) dan tertarik mempelajari fisika menggunakan pendekatan tersebut pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan Google Sites yang interaktif dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi gerak rotasi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a learning video on circular motion subject as a physics learning media for high school students. The developed video is prepared based on the guided inquiry learning stage and completed with the Student Worksheet. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method, with ADDIE model. The developed video has been through feasibility test with the achievement percentage of 91.8% from material expert, 96.8% from media expert, and 85.9% from learning expert with excellent interpretation. The product trial results show the percentage of achievement of 81.7% from educator and 89.4% from learner. There is an increase of result was 54.4 to 79.8 with a normalized gain test of 0.56 Based on the result of feasibility test and experiment, it can be concluded that instructional video using guided inquiry method in circular motion subject is worth to be used as physics learning media in senior high school and improved students’ learning outcomes in medium category.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran pada materi gerak melingkar sebagai media pembelajaran fisika untuk siswa SMA. Video yang dikembangkan disusun berdasarkan tahapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan dilengkapi dengan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), model ADDIE. Video yang dikembangkan telah melalui tahap uji kelayakan dengan persentase pencapaian 91.8% menurut ahli materi, 96.8% menurut ahli media, dan 85.9% menurut ahli pembelajaran dengan interpretasi sangat baik. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukkan persentase pencapaian 81.7% menurut pendidik dan 89.4% menurut peserta didik. Melalui uji coba kepada peserta didik, didapatkan kenaikan dari hasil pretest sebesar 54.4 menjadi 79.8 saat postest. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan dan uji coba dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran menggunakan metode inkuiri terbimbing pada materi gerak melingkar hasil pengembangan telah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika SMA.

Abstract

Surface and ground water pollution that occurs in DKI Jakarta shows an increasing trend. Efforts to develop centralized household domestic wastewater treatment which had been initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government since 1972 have been progressing very slowly. A lot of research has been carried out and can be used as a reference, but not much has discussed the sustainability of holistic domestic wastewater management. The concept of sustainable development is basically how to place ecological, economic and social aspects as an inseparable unit so that it can meet the needs of the current generation without reducing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The waste water management system implemented by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is still partial and not holistic. The research results show that waste water management in DKI Jakarta is at a less sustainable status. For this reason, determining priority strategies to achieve the objectives of the waste management development program and formulating strategies for developing domestic waste management, including reducing the level of water pollution, financing development, selecting technology, handling social problems, providing land, developing institutions and increasing community participation, needs to be carried out. for the sustainability of domestic wastewater management in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of applying the Case Based Learning (CBL)Model assisted by interactive videos in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes onoptical materials. The method used is Classroom Action Research with the subject of grade XIMIPA 5 students at SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang Regency for the 2023/2024 school year. Thisresearch was carried out in three cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, andreflection. The results showed that implementing interactive video-assisted CBL significantlyimproved students' cognitive learning outcomes. The average cognitive score of studentsincreased from 55.6 in the first cycle, to 70.4 in the second cycle, and reached 75.2 in the thirdcycle. In addition, the success rate of classical learning also increased from 28.7% in the firstcycle to 79.7% in the third cycle. This improvement shows that interactive video-assisted CBLis effective in actively engaging students in learning, improving conceptual comprehension, andmotivating students to learn physics. This study suggests the application of interactive video-assisted CBL as an alternative learning method that can improve the quality of physics educationin schools.

Abstract

Abstract. The research aimed to assess the improvement of students' creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Case Based Learning (CBL) model, supported by a Virtual Laboratory, in the topic of Optics. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 41 students from class XI MIPA 6 at SMA Negeri 6, Kabupaten Tangerang. The research was designed in three cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results indicated that the application of the CBL model, assisted by the Virtual Laboratory, significantly enhanced students' creative thinking abilities. The average percentage of students categorized as "Highly Creative" increased from 12.1% in the first cycle, to 29.2% in the second cycle, and reached 58.04% in the third cycle. Meanwhile, the percentage of students in the "Not Creative" category decreased from 24.3% in the first cycle, to 9.7% in the second cycle, and dropped to 0% in the third cycle. These findings suggest that integrating the CBL model with a virtual laboratory is not only effective in boosting creative thinking skills but also in deepening students' understanding of physics concepts visually. The implications of this research indicate that the use of Virtual Laboratory within the CBL model provides a strong framework for innovative teaching practices in physics education, which can enhance the effectiveness of learning and student motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to increase literacy using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by interactive modules on elasticity material. The study was carried out over three lessons with each lesson carried out in one complete cycle consisting of observation, reflection, design, and treatment. Data collection was carried out using an evaluation instrument in the form of a test using a questionnaire at the end of each cycle before the next cycle was carried out. The test instrument used contains indicators of science content aspects, science context aspects, and science process aspects. The results of the research showed that cycle III had the highest increase in each scientific literacy indicator with the science content indicator being 69.7%, the science context indicator being 68.7% and the science process indicator being 74.3%. So it can be concluded that increasing scientific literacy using the guided inquiry learning model assisted by interactive modules on elasticity material results in improvements in the good category.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena konsepnya yang abstrak, khususnya pada materi usaha dan energi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan website pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukasi menggunakan RPG Maker MZ yang dirancang dengan pendekatan Game-Based Learning (GBL) untuk kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), mencakup tahap concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian sangat layak dari ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli media. Selain itu, hasil uji coba terhadap siswa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, minat, serta pemahaman konsep siswa secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, website pembelajaran berbasis RPG Maker MZ merupakan alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi fisika, khususnya usaha dan energi.

Abstract

Problem-based learning is a student-centered educational method that aims to develop problem-solving, self-directed learning and teamwork also critical thinking abilities of students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on momentum and impuls material in improving students critical thinking abilities. This research was conducted using the action research method which was divided into four stages and three learning cycles and also a single case study descriptive research with a critical thinking abilities test instrument. The results of the increasing critical thinking abilities test were analyzed using the N-gain test and paired sample t test. The test results showed that there was an increase in students critical thinking abilities with N-gain score is 0.46 and 0.56 in medium criteria and paired t-test results with a significance level of 5% = 0.000 < 0.05 which shows that there is a different level of critical thinking abilities of students before and after the implementation of the PBL. So, based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the video-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by videos can improve students critical thinking abilities on momentum and impuls material.

Abstract

This journal reviews students' problem-solving skills after participating in a problem-solving-based learning process. This study aims to determine the student's problem-solving skills and social students who follow a cross-interest program in physics. The study utilized a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research subjects were 29 students in class X Social 4 at SMAN Sambungmacan, Sragen. In this study, students were asked to complete four question descriptions after studying temperature and heat material. Student problem-solving results were analyzed using a point system. The average and percentage of student achievement were calculated for each problem and its stages of problem-solving. Analysis of problem-solving skills data revealed that the average percentage of students' problem-solving skills reached 65.3%. Based on data analysis and results, all students' problem-solving abilities have improved since the pretest. It is hoped that students will continue to be accustomed to solving problems using the stages of problem-solving in the future.
