Abstract

The number of reports of poor reproductive and sexual health in adolescents is enormous. Sexual education is very critical for adolescent health. Sexual education has shown more effective results when implemented in collaboration with adolescents. Lack of educational resources, issues considered taboo and cultural boundaries, and lack of trust in maintaining confidentiality cause ambiguity and misconceptions about sexual education. Implementing sexual education involves many parties, so this study aimed to analyze the stakeholders' perspectives on sexual education delivery for adolescents. This systemic review was conducted to find relevant articles in Scopus, CINAHL, Science Direct, and ProQuest databases—the research guideline using The PRISMA checklist. The eligibility criteria and The JBI Checklist were prepared as a guide in measuring article quality. In the final review, twelve articles were included. The articles mentioned parents, adolescents, teachers, and other stakeholders' perspectives. Parents' perspectives have who is responsible for educating adolescents, taboo and lack of communication skills between parent-child, contents of sexual education, and delayed sexual education. Adolescents' perspectives, such as sources and ideal versions of sexual education. Teachers' perspectives include people who should be responsible and skill-based teachers. Meanwhile, other stakeholders' perspectives have school-based, religious challenges, partnerships, and communication strategies with adolescents. This study shows the need for improvement in delivering sexual education. Keywords: Stakeholders; sexual education; skill-based teachers; parents care; communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to develop a clinical pathway for hemorrhagic stroke patients based on the 3S (SDKI, SLKI, SIKI). The method used is Research and Development with stages including literature study, observation evaluation, validity and reliability testing, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The research results show that developing a 3S-based hemorrhagic stroke clinical pathway is by clinical practice guidelines and service quality. The results of Pearson's product-moment correlation test are <0.514, and the reliability of the Cronbach alpha test is 0.906. Conclusion: The development of a 3S-based hemorrhagic stroke clinical pathway was prepared with nursing diagnoses, including ineffective airway clearance, decreased intracranial adaptive capacity, acute pain, impaired physical mobility, and risk of fluid imbalance. The development of a 3S-based hemorrhagic stroke clinical pathway is generally in good categories in terms of Functionality, Efficiency, and Usability so that it can be recommended for use by nurses and can improve the quality of hospital services. Four databases (Scopus, Science Direct, and Pubmed) were used in this study using the keywords assessment, smartphone, and dehydration management. Access to the quality of this study using a cross-sectional design from Joanna Briggs Institute. Use the PRISMA flowchart to summarize the study selection. Limit for the last eight years, namely 2017 – 2022. The results of this study met the inclusion criteria, including patients with dehydration caused by gastroenteritis problems and pediatric or pediatric patients. inclusion and exclusion criteria applied to the PICOS framework. Abstract

Women are considered to be the most common recipients of contraceptive methods. This study aimed to determine the most influential factors in family planning behavior among women in Samarinda, Indonesia. This study used a cross-sectional design and involved 384 women of childbearing age in the area of Samarinda Primary Health Care. Data were collected using a questionnaire to measure education, income, culture, parity, health workers, and family support for family planning. All variables were categorized and the data were analyzed using binary logistic regression. The significance level was set at 0.05. The study showed that generally respondents have good family planning behaviour (228 respondents; 59.4%) while parity, family support and culture are good in contraceptive use. It is presented that culture support (p=0.004; OR=2.081) become the most dominant factor of contraceptive use behaviour after controlled by education (p=0.047; OR=1.574), income (p=0.043; OR=0.632), parity (p=0.011; OR=0.575) and family support (p=0.025; OR=0.518). Women with a supporting culture will have better contraceptive use behavior than women who do not after controlling for education, income, parity, and family support. It is expected that harmonizing culture with health programs can encourage people to improve their health behaviors.
