Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and make colouring technic fashiondesign with Adobe Photoshop CS3 as the alternative of learning media and able to beused to give some helps in explain the materials in class or personally. The researchuse research and development method, which is designing an make a module ofcolouring fashion design with Adobe Photoshop CS3. Data collection in this researchuse validation and gave to the lectures and the questionnaire to the students about themodule. The questionnaire consists of form, contents, motivation and the practicalityof this module. Data analyzed using Likert Scale. Hoped this module can give theeasiness for the lecturer and other people in designing a learning media, so canmotivate the student, and the aim of the learning is gained.

Abstract

Riau Malay songket woven in Dumai City is a traditional cloth Melayu Riau Riau Malay cultural heritage. Current issues Malay songket weaving is not widely known outside the community of Riau, this study aimed to describe the Riau Malay songket woven In Kota Dumai which includes the type of thread, color, dye and dyeing yarnThe method used is descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data in this study is done by using observation, interviews and documentation. Source of data taken is shaped notes both written and non-written (recorded) derived from informants who were interviewed, documentation, literature study. Furthermore, the data reviewed and analyzed by the steps of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Data validation was done with the extension of observation, increase persistence and triangulation.The results showed that the type of thread used to weave songket in Kota Dumai Riau Malay is cotton yarn (CSM) with an assortment of colors,ivembroidery thread and gold thread for motives. Riau Malay songket woven color in Dumai city which initially predominantly use original colors (red, yellow, green) has developed into unlimited colors, so that the use of color today are very diverse. Dyes used for dyeing yarn dye is artificial (synthetic). Substances in the form of powder or powder color is called dye procion. Natural dye is not used as a reason for the creation of a long natural dyes and natural dye material limitations that exist. The process of yarn dyeing yarn bleaching done in advance, after the bleached yarn dyeing yarn made into a synthetic dye.

Abstract

This study aimed to documentation , analyze and describe data about wedding apparel designs Talang Mamak tribe as seen from the Bride Outfits design philosophy and meaning. This research is descriptive qualitative. The location of this study in the district of Kulim Raft Indragiri Hulu in Riau Province.  Data collection techniques using three techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study Talang Mamak tribe clothing Bridal bride and groom men wearing form perempuanya shirts, pants, and cap Salempang . Material shirts of cotton, wool, Salempang, cotton and velvet . Kundur florals and diamonds. Colors used red and black color hiasanya using woven hangings . Bride of using the short form of Kebaya , gloves , and tools Salempang andam, songket woven material , meaning the philosophy of the wedding dress is courage, sanctity became the bride dared to enter the gates of the household and cheerfulness lost all cocky arrogant, originated from the household life flows along to the grave . Abstract

The purpose of research is describe the form of suntiang mangkuto and analyze the inner meaning of suntiang mangkuto . This research is a descriptive kualitatif. Object this research is suntiang mangkuto. Data collection techniques with observation, interview and documentation. Analysis techniques with reduction data, display of data and conclusion. The results of resesearch obtained form suntiang mangkuto resembles a crown shape with a diameter of 17,1 cm has 4 support bars with a width of 2 cm has wide range of decorative flora and fauna materials used for the manufacture of suntiang mangkuto the original and the latest. The meaning of philosophy contained in suntiang mangkuto is that women in minangkabau should not uphold the heavy burden. Suntiang mangkuto show beauty and serves as a golden yellow colored flowers on suntiang mangkuto symbolizes custom rules and customary philosophy in minangkabau that is nature takambang be a teacher.2Keywords : Suntiang Mangkuto, clothes, Minangkabau

Abstract

Many of Bunda's Tourism Diploma graduates are still unemployed because some are less interested in becoming self-employed. It because students are not motivated to become entrepreneurs, and the family environment is not yet supported. This study aimed to measure: the relationship between entrepreneurial learning outcomes, entrepreneurial motivation, and family environment with interest in entrepreneurship. This type of research is descriptive correlational. This research population is all students of the Hospitality study program of the Bunda Padang Tourism Academy, batch 2017 and 2018, totaling 61 students. The sample in this study were 61 students using the total sampling technique. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire using a Likert scale and data analysis methods, including simple correlation and multiple correlations. Research is expected to increase students' entrepreneurial knowledge through attitudes, knowledge, and skills to overcome entrepreneurial tasks' complexity, providing real experiences for students to carry out entrepreneurial practices.

Abstract

Ekonomi digital menuntut perubahan dalam penerapan kurikulum pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Relevansi kompetensi dan kebutuhan industri menjadi dasar dalam melakukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan pada model pembelajaran berbasis proyek e commerce pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan, model memiliki 8 fase sebagai kerangka acuan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, validasi pakar menyatakan bahwa aspek rasionalisasi model, aspek teori pendukung, aspek syntax, aspek sistem sosial, aspek prinsip reaksi, aspek system pendukung, dan aspek dampak instruksional dan dampak pengiring memiliki kategori valid dengan skor > 0.60. Validasi ini dilakukan oleh lima orang para ahli sebagai validator. Penilaian yang dilakukan pakar selaku validator terkait dengan aspek instruksional dan aspek teknis untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran dengan isi dan struktur yang berkualitas tinggi. Model baik untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaaran Kewirausahaan berbasiskan produk e commerce untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berwirausaha mahasiswa di era ekonomi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe factually about Student Creativity in the Stage Makeup course, Department of Make-Up and Beauty, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University. This study uses a qualitative method. Research data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentary studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. Key informants are students in make-up courses and supporting informants are lecturers of stage make-up. The results showed that the creativity of the students in the Makeup and Beauty Study Program at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University was not optimal because the students did not demonstrate enough to realize high creativity. Learning runs effectively and efficiently but still does not lead to creative learning. Creative products produced by students are not satisfactory.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini berdasarkan pengembangan bahan ajar yang digunakan untuk pelatihan membatik pada program PPPUD UNP 2019, dengan judul “Pengembangan Kerajinan Batik Berbasis Budaya Lokal di Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat, Menuju Pasar Global”. Hal ini dilaksanakan,  seiring dengan usaha pemerintah daerah yang mendorong industri batik tumbuh dan berkembang di Sumatera Barat, salah satunya adalah UMKM Batik Minang Alam Takambang yang berlokasi di Nagari Batu Palano Kec. Sungai Puar Kab. Agam, Propinsi Sumatera Barat yang menjadi mitra dalam PPPUD UNP. Sebagai unggulan daerah UMKM Batik Minang Alam Takambang harus didorong untuk dapat berkembang sama dengan batik lainnya yang telah dahulu maju di pulau Jawa. Metode dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar ini adalah Research and Development dengan model penelitian 4D  yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap penyebaran. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan  dianggap telah dapat  digunakan oleh peserta pelatihan membatik dalam proses belajar, berdasarkan hasil penelitian data uji validitas dan praktikalitas, dengan hasil 83,35% kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan data uji praktikalitas dengan hasil 85,89% kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar batik tulis layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah analisis tekstil.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, pelatihan, membatik, budaya lokal.AbstractThis research is based on the development of teaching materials used for batik training in the 2019 PPP UNP PPPUD program, entitled "Development of Local Culture-Based Batik Crafts in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Towards a Global Market". This was carried out, along with the efforts of the local government to encourage the batik industry to grow and develop in West Sumatra, one of which was the Minangkabau Batik Minang Alam Takambang located in Nagari Batu Palano Kec. Sungai Puar Kab. Agam, West Sumatra Province which is a partner in PPPUD UNP. As the pre-eminent regional SME Batik Minang Alam Takambang should be encouraged to be able to develop together with other batik that had previously advanced on the island of Java. The method in developing this teaching material is Research and Development with the 4D research model consisting of the defining stage, the planning stage, the development stage and the deployment stage. Teaching material developed is considered to be able to be used by batik training participants in the learning process, based on the results of the validity and practicality test data, with the results of 83.35% the category is very valid. While the practicality test data with the results of 85.89% is very practical category. It can be concluded that the written batik teaching material is fit to be used as a learning medium in textile analysis courses.Keywords: teaching materials, training, batik, local culture.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya festival seni di Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang bertahan hingga beberapa kali pelaksaan dalam satu dekade terakhir. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya; tidak adanya manajemen dalam pengelolaan festival, sehingga terkesan terburu-buru dan tidak maksimal dalam pelaksanaanya. Diantara banyak festival seni yang pernah ada, terdapat satu festival seni yang berhasil bertahan hingga saat ini, ialah festival seni Pekan Nan Tumpah. Festival seni Pekan Nan Tumpah adalah festival seni yang diselenggarakan setiap dua tahun sekali oleh Komunitas Seni Nan Tumpah sejak tahun 2011. Festival ini menghadirkan berbagai macam seni, seperti seni pertunjukan teater, tari dan musik, pameran seni rupa, lomba baca puisi kreatif, workshop dan lain sebagainya. Namun, pada penelitian ini hanya difokuskan pada festival seni pertunjukan Pekan Nan Tumpah saja. Festival seni pertunjukan Pekan Nan Tumpah menampilkan beberapa karya seni pertunjukan dengan mengundang komunitas/group dan sanggar seni lain baik dari Sumatera Barat maupun luar Sumatera Barat setelah melewati sistem kurasi. Komunitas Seni Nan Tumpah menerapkan prinsip manajemen dalam setiap pengelolaan kegiatannya, termasuk dalam penyelenggaraan festival seni pertunjukan Pekan Nan Tumpah. Penerapan sistem manajemen dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi. Festival seni pertunjukan Pekan Nan Tumpah juga merupakan satu-satunya festival seni di Sumatera Barat yang berani menerapkan pertunjukan berbayar dengan menjual tiket kepada penonton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen serta menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada festival seni pertunjukan Pekan Nan Tumpah.  Kata Kunci: manajemen, festival seni pertunjukan, tumpah.AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of art festivals in the province of West Sumatra, which lasted several times in the last decade. This is caused by several factors, including; the absence of management in the management of the festival, so that it seems rushed and not optimal in its implementation. Among the many arts festivals that have ever existed, there is one art festival that has survived to this day, the Pekan Nan Tumpah art festival. Pekan Nan Tumpah arts festival is an arts festival held every two years by the Komunitas Seni Nan Tumpah since 2011. The festival presents a variety of arts, such as theater performance, dance and music, fine art exhibitions, creative poetry reading competitions, workshops and etcetera. However, this research is only focused on the Pekan Nan Tumpah performing arts festival. The Pekan Nan Tumpah performing arts festival features a number of performance art works by inviting other community / groups and art studios both from West Sumatra and outside West Sumatra after passing through the curation system. The Komunitas Seni Nan Tumpah applies management principles in every management of its activities, including the holding of the Pekan Nan Tumpah performing arts festival. The implementation of a management system starts from planning, implementation to evaluation. The Pekan Nan Tumpah performing arts festival is also the only art festival in West Sumatra that dares to implement paid performances by selling tickets to the audience. This study aims to describe management and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors at the Pekan Nan Tumpah performing arts festival.  Keywords: management, performance art festival, tumpah.
