Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the impact of giving High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Oregon Circuit Training on cardiorespiratory endurance abilities. This study used an experimental method with a two group pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of 20 people, the sample was determined by the total sampling method so that a sample of 20 people was obtained, the sample was then divided into two groups, the HIIT group (10 people) and the Oregon Circuit Training (10 people). The instrument used was the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). Data analysis using Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test. The results showed that there was an effect of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on the increase in VO2 Max (ρ value = 0.001), there was an effect of Oregon Circuit Training on the increase in VO2 Max (ρ value = 0.002) and, there was no significant effect comparison between High Intensity. Interval Training (HIIT) and Oregon Circuit Training (ρ value = 0.759), the conclusion is that the increase in cardiorespiratory endurance ability is influenced by the provision of both types of exercise but there is no significant comparison of the effects between the two, as well as the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) training method. ) showed more effective results (39, 69%). From these results, the HIIT training method or Oregon Circuit Training can be an alternative exercise to increase VO2 Max and can be used for further research with different variables.

Abstract

Abstract Physical Education, Sports and Health still uses conventional approaches, such as lectures, discussions and assignments, but teachers have not used technology to improve their learning. The aim of this research is to create pencak silat learning media that students can use via an Android application. Research and development (R&D) is carried out using the ADDIE model, which consists of several stages: 1) Analysis (Analysis), 2) Design (Designing), 3) Development (Development), 4) Implementation (Application), and 5) Evaluation (Evaluation). This research used a sample of students from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Cilacap and Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen High School. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. Based on the assessments of several experts—material, media, and language—it can be concluded that the learning media created is very suitable for use. The media expert's score was 87% with "very feasible" criteria, the material expert's assessment was 94% with "very feasible" criteria, the language expert's score was 100% with "very feasible" criteria, and the small and large scales test score was 91% with "very feasible" criteria.

Abstract

Datar Village is one of the 19 villages in the Sub-District of Sumbang, Banyumas Regency. The village is located in a mountainous area so that this area is an area for tourism and education development. The Datar Village area has a fairly high vulnerability to disasters, especially volcanic eruptions, namely Mount Slamet, in addition to several impacts that may occur as a result of the rainy season, namely landslides and tornadoes. For this reason, the solution offered to solve problems in Datar Village is to develop a business that aims to encourage community participation in natural disaster management independently through a Datar Village Development Program, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency as a Disaster Resilient Village. The method of activity is carried out in collaboration with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Banyumas Regency with a socialization approach, limited discussion, and playing a role in disaster management. The activity was attended by 30 participants of Disaster Management Volunteers from representatives of each RT, Community Control Unit (Linmas), and village officials. The results of community service activities consist of the formation of a Datar Village Disaster Management Volunteer board chaired by Rilam Azis, an increase in volunteer knowledge of the concepts of Disaster Resilient Families (Katana) and Disaster Resilient Villages (Destana), and volunteers have disaster management action skills.Desa Datar adalah salah satu desa dari 19 desa di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas. Desa tersebut berada di daerah pegunungan sehingga wilayah ini merupakan daerah wilayah pengembangan wisata dan pendidikan. Wilayah Desa Datar memiliki kerawanan yang cukup tinggi terhadap bencana terutama bencana erupsi gunung berapi yaitu Gunung Slamet, disamping beberapa dampak yang mungkin terjadi akibat dari musim hujan yakni tanah longsor, dan puting beliung. Untuk itu solusi yang ditawarkan untuk memecahkan permasalahan di Desa Datar adalah mengembangkan sebuah usaha yang bertujuan mendorong peran serta masyarakat dalam penanggulangan bencana alam secara mandiri melalui sebuah Program Pengembangan Desa Datar Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas sebagai Desa Tangguh Bencana. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui kerjasama dengan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Banyumas dengan pendekatan sosialisasi, diskusi terbatas, dan bermain peran dalam penanggulangan bencana. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 peserta Relawan Penanggulangan Bencana berasal dari perwakilan tiap RT, satuan Pengendalian Masyarakat (Linmas), dan perangkat desa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari terbentuknya pengurus Relawan Penangulangan Bencana Desa Datar yang diketuai oleh Rilam Azis, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan relawan terhadap konsep Keluarga Tangguh Bencana (Katana) dan Desa Tangguh Bencana (Destana) , dan relawan memiliki ketrampilan tindakan penanggulangan bencana.
