Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan metode praktikum pengukuran terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode quasi-eksperimen, di mana desain menggunakan satu grup pretest dan posttest. Dalam penilitan, 49 siswa mengikuti tes, menggunakan instrument soal esai. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS 27. Hasil pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mendapatkan data belajar. Hasil dari uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai pretest 63,77 dan nilai posttest rata-rata 88,34. Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara variabel awal dan variabel akhir; nilai signifikansi pretest adalah 0,901 di atas 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai tersebut juga berdistribusi normal. Nilai signifikansi posttest adalah 0,851 di atas 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai tersebut juga berdistribusi normal. Ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel awal dan akhir berpengaruh satu sama lain secara signifikan. Dengan menggunakan SPSS 27, ukuran efek ditemukan nilai 1,8 dengan tingkat efektifitas 96 persen. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1,8 lebih dari 0,8 dalam kategori yang lebih tinggi. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dengan menerapkan metode praktikum.

Abstract

Background: Poor milk production is one of the causes contributing to limited exclusive breastfeeding. Edamame and Oxytocin Massage is a non-pharmacological pain management technique that is anticipated to boost the production of breast milk.Objective: to ascertain the impact of oxytocin and edamame massage on postpartum women's production of breast milk at Karanganyar Health Center. Methods: There is only one group used for the pretest and posttest in this quantitative, pre-experimental study methodology. This study included 32 respondents who were all postpartum mothers on days 2–8 at Puskesmas Karanganyar, Demak Regency, from August 23 to September 3, 2024. Twenty responders made up the research sample. Purposive sampling was the method used for sampling in this investigation. Wilcoxon is used for both univariate and bivariate data analysis.Results: The median amount of breast milk produced at Puskesmas Karanganyar prior to receiving an oxytocin and edamame massage was 22.4 milliliters. The median amount of breast milk produced at Puskesmas Karanganyar following an oxytocin and edamame massage was 41.9 milliliters. At Karanganyar Health Center, postpartum women's breast milk supply is impacted by oxytocin and edamame massage (0.0001 <0.05).Conclusion : At Karanganyar Health Center, postpartum women's breast milk production is impacted by oxytocin massage and edamame feeding. According to the study's findings, midwives can massage postpartum ladies using edamame and oxytocin to boost their supply of breast milk.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal and analyze the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in integrating religious values to improve student discipline at the Salafiyah Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pajarakan, Probolinggo. This madrasa plays an important role in forming students' character based on the teachings of Salafiyah Islam. Through a qualitative approach, this research involves observation, interviews and document analysis to understand in depth how PAI teachers use religious values as a basis for achieving the goal of improving discipline. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research, case studies at MA Salafiyah Pajarakan, Probolinggo. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation and in-depth documentation integrating religious values: pai teacher strategies for improving student discipline. The research results show that PAI teachers at MA Salafiyah Pajarakan adopt a holistic and integrated strategy in integrating religious values in daily learning. They not only deliver teaching material, but also act as role models for students. The instillation of religious values is integrated into every aspect of school life, from formal lessons to extracurricular activities. Teachers' activeness in providing guidance, advice and religious approaches also plays a role in shaping students' character and discipline.

Abstract

Based on the amount of discharge or current, the river flows in Central Kalimantan have the potential to produce electrical energy. The purposes of this study were to design an undershot type of floating waterwheel and to test the effective bending angle at the radius of the grasshopper elbow in producing the most optimum power. This research uses experimental methods. The tools used are: mobile phone, multimeter, the gate of light, timer counter, flow rate, and the dimensions of the waterwheel diameter is 6 meters. Grasshopper angles vary from 0°, 30°, 45°, 60o, and 90° with a submerged blade depth of 0.24 m. The results showed that the undershot waterwheel with a flexible pinwheel (like a grasshopper's elbow) produced a faster and more effective rotation than a wheel with a fixed pinwheel and blades. Because the waterwheel has a flexible pinwheel and the butterfly blades experience little resistance when moving in water, the wheel generates more electrical energy than a wheel with fixed pinwheels and blades.At the angle of bending of the radius of the grasshopper blade 30º with the butterfly blade, it produces more optimal electrical energy than angles 0°, 45°, 60o, and 90°. Suggestions for further research are to test the waterwheel in weak and medium current rivers

Abstract

Keterbatasan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi energi terbarukan menjadi alasan perlunya pengembangan dan analisis instrumen secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis butir soal instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi energi terbarukan secara keseluruhan menggunakan Rasch Model. Pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif diterapkan sebagai metode penelitian dengan mengambil subjek sebanyak 34 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes berupa soal essay sebanyak 12 soal. Hasil data dianalisis menggunakan Rasch Model berbantuan software Winsteps 5.9.0. dengan beberapa parameter uji: unidimensionality, item fit, DIF, reliabilitas, separation, wright maps, dan tingkat kesukaran soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan unidimensionality, dengan nilai raw variance explained by measures sebesar 46,9% (baik), dari 12 soal yang dianalisis, 6 soal fit dengan model, sementara sisanya perlu direvisi. Tidak teramati bias terhadap butir soal berdasarkan hasil DIF (p>0,05). Namun, 2 butir soal dengan nilai logit ekstrem (2<logit<-2 ) tergolong sulit sekali dan mudah sekali sehingga perlu perhatian lebih lanjut. Nilai Cronbach’s Alpha senilai 0,62 tergolong cukup dalam pengukuran. Hasil indeks separation (H) item (4), dan person (2) menunjukkan kemampuan instrumen dalam membedakan tingkat kemampuan siswa dan tingkat kesukaran soal secara jelas. Sebaran kemampuan siswa berdasarkan wright maps, berada pada logit 0 hingga -1. Instrumen ini memiliki kualitas yang cukup valid dan reliabel sebagai alat ukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi energi terbarukan dan dapat digunakan oleh pendidik. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya perlu mengembangkan instrumen dengan indikator berpikir kreatif secara merata, memperluas sampel uji coba instrumen, serta mengombinasikan pendekatan analisis lainnya agar kualitas instrumen lebih akurat.

Abstract

Environmentally friendly agriculture is an urgent necessity amid increasing soil degradation and farmers' dependence on chemical fertilizers, which incur high costs and reduce land quality. This condition also occurs in the Hikmah Farmer Group in Majalengka, where the majority of farmers still rely entirely on chemical fertilizers, while knowledge and skills regarding organic and biological fertilizers are still very limited. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to increase farmers' capacity to produce and utilize organic and biological fertilizers, thereby reducing their dependence on chemical fertilizers and supporting the realization of sustainable agriculture. The implementation methods included counseling on the concept of environmentally friendly agriculture, training in the production of solid and liquid organic fertilizers, as well as biological fertilizers based on local microorganisms, and direct assistance in their application on agricultural land. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in farmers' knowledge and skills, with more than 70% of group members able to produce organic fertilizers independently, and more than 60% successfully applying biological fertilizers on their land. In addition, the use of chemical fertilizers can be reduced by 20-30% without reducing crop yields, while improving soil fertility and increasing soil biota activity. Thus, this program not only has a positive impact on farmers' economic efficiency, but also contributes ecologically to the sustainability of environmentally friendly agriculture. Future recommendations include strengthening institutional support and replicating the program among other farmer groups in Majalengka to ensure its benefits can be sustained and expanded.

Abstract

The Sekura Festival custom in West Lampung is one of the many fascinating acculturation phenomena that Indonesia has to offer, given its rich cultural heritage and predominately Muslim populace. However, as modernization advances, traditions may lose their relevance. Because of this, people may view these customs as merely amusement without appreciating the Islamic principles they represent. There will be a conflict between adhering to Sharia principles and preserving culture as a result. Examining how Islamic ideals are represented in the symbols and customs of the Pesta Sekura tradition practiced by the residents of West Lampung is the aim of this study. Relevant literature content analysis was used to perform library research. According to the study's findings, the Sekura Festival is full of Islamic principles that are internalized through seven key elements: friendship (ukhuwah islamiyah), thankfulness, tolerance and cooperation (ta'awun), joy within the bounds of Sharia law, education and cultural da'wah, simplicity and unity, peace and reconciliation, and gratitude. Sekura symbols (Betik and Kamak) and the ritual system as a whole are excellent means of conveying these principles. According to this study, the Sekura Festival is a tangible illustration of cultural da'wah (dakwah bil hikmah), which is the integration of Islam with regional culture while adhering to Sharia law. In the face of modernity's problems, it is also a crucial means of preserving cultural legacy and fortifying the community's Islamic identity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the revitalization of vocational education through edupreneurship in promoting the economic independence of vocational high school students in the era of society 5.0. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling techniques, with criteria for vocational high schools that have integrated the edupreneurship program into their learning processes. Data collection techniques were carried out through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The analysis process was conducted through data reduction stages, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that vocational education, particularly in vocational high schools (SMK), plays a strategic role in producing a generation that is job-ready while also capable of creating jobs independently. However, various structural and cultural challenges such as competency mismatch, weak technology integration, and low entrepreneurial spirit remain major obstacles in achieving the economic independence of graduates. In the era of Society 5.0, which demands technological proficiency and sustainable innovation, a more adaptive and transformative educational approach is needed. In this context, edupreneurship emerges as a strategic solution to revitalize vocational education to make it more contextual, productive, and highly competitive.

Abstract

In the era of modern learning that increasingly emphasizes high-level thinking competencies, various innovative learning methods continue to be developed to improve the quality of education. One important aspect of the learning process is critical thinking skills that need to be developed early on in students, especially in subjects that require in-depth analysis such as physics. This study examines the impact of the STEM-integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach on students' critical thinking skills, especially in the context of rotational dynamics content. The PBL model is integrated with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach, where STEM elements are applied consistently throughout the learning process. The experiment is a type of research. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only non-equivalent control group design. The study sample consists of a control and an experimental group. The essay assessment used for examination was validated through hypothesis testing using SPSS 27 software. The data collection technique used a posttest given to the control and experimental classes after treatment. Posttest results indicated improvement in both the experimental and control groups. Based on independent test results, the two-tailed significance level, 0,006 < 0,05, and the t-value of 2,79 > 1,663 (t table) show that the experimental and control groups differ significantly. A considerable difference exists in the performance offered at the student critical thinking level when the t count value is bigger than the t table. It can be inferred from applying the Problem-Based Learning paradigm in education that there are serious drawbacks.
