Abstract

Model pembinaan penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam mahasiswa melalui program Ma’had Al-Jamiah di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo adalah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara intensif mulai hari Senin sampai dengan hari Kamis. Kegiatan tersebut diawali dengan melaksanakan Sholat Dhuhur secara berjamaah di Masjid. Kegiatan ini wajib di ikuti oleh seluruh mahasiswa semester I dan II. Model Pembinaan Ma’had Al-Jamiah terfokus pada materi baca tulis al-Qur’an, Akhlak dan Ibadah. Mahasiswa peserta Ma’had Al-Jamiah di bombing oleh para Instruktur Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) dan Dosen yang mengampu mata kuliah Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo yang terlibat dalam pembinaan Ma’had Al Jamiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembinaan yang diterapkan pada program pembinaan Ma’had Al Jamiah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan pembinaan secara aktif mengalami peningkatan dalam pengetahuan agama dan pengamalan ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan uraian ini, disarankan agar model pembinaan terus diperbaiki dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa agar dapat lebih optimal dalam meningkatkan nilai pendidikan Islam di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo.

Abstract

Background: Islamic education within the family is the primary foundation in shaping children's character and religious values. Amidst complex social and cultural challenges, women’s organizations such as Aisyiyah hold great potential in supporting family education based on Islamic principles. However, the strategic role of Aisyiyah in this context has not been thoroughly studied, especially at the local level, such as in Palopo City. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the role of the Aisyiyah organization in developing Islamic education within families in Palopo City, with a focus on implemented programs, family involvement strategies, and their impact on strengthening Islamic values in household life. Methods: This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a phenomenological design. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with Aisyiyah administrators and family members, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with triangulation validation. Results: Findings indicate that Aisyiyah plays an active role in Islamic family education through religious activities, Islamic parenting training, and the empowerment of housewives as primary educators. Formal programs such as TK Bustanul Athfal and non-formal activities such as family religious gatherings help increase collective awareness and create a domino effect within the community. The involvement of both parents, including fathers, signifies the success of Aisyiyah’s inclusive approach. Conclusions: Aisyiyah makes a significant contribution in forming religious and resilient families through a community-based Islamic education approach. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of synergy between religious organizations and educational institutions in reinforcing family spiritual resilience. Further research is recommended to explore replication models in other regions and to adopt quantitative approaches for broader impact measurement.

Abstract

Urgensi penguatan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam di kalangan mahasiswa semakin meningkat seiring dengan tantangan globalisasi, krisis spiritualitas, dan melemahnya karakter generasi muda. Dalam konteks ini, Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) melalui program Darul Arqam Dasar (DAD) hadir sebagai model perkaderan yang strategis dalam membentuk mahasiswa berkarakter Islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan Model DAD dalam penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam kepada mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo (UMPalopo). Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan secara induktif dengan reduksi dan kategorisasi tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model DAD mampu meningkatkan pemahaman keislaman, membentuk karakter akhlakul karimah, serta memperkuat kepekaan sosial dan kepemimpinan mahasiswa. Namun, masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, variasi motivasi peserta, dan metode penyampaian yang perlu diperbarui. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis organisasi mahasiswa dan menjadi rujukan dalam perancangan sistem kaderisasi yang lebih inovatif dan adaptif di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang DAD terhadap alumni dan kontribusinya dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore how animated educational videos, song clips, and audiovisual game-based learning support vocabulary acquisition, interaction, and active participation among fourth-grade students in an EFL classroom. Using a descriptive qualitative design, the research was conducted in a Thai elementary school with 22 students aged 9-10. Data were collected over seven English lessons through structured non-participant observations and detailed field notes, focusing on behavioral indicators of engagement, understanding, and peer collaboration. Research findings revealed that animated videos helped clarify abstract vocabulary through visual storytelling and repetition, while song clips promoted memorability and emotional involvement through rhythm and movement. Audiovisual games, on the other hand, encouraged sustained focus, classroom interaction, and vocabulary application through playful, feedback-rich activities. Each tool contributed uniquely to different stages of learning, highlighting the value of varied, multimodal media use. This study offers practical insights into how thoughtfully integrated audiovisual tools can enrich English instruction for young learners. It encourages educators to strategically align media types with lesson goals and learner characteristics, particularly in environments with limited access to authentic English use.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile represents a concrete manifestation of the national education goals and serves as a fundamental reference in formulating educational policies, including religious literacy. This study aims to identify the noble values of local wisdom in South Sulawesi that contribute to the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5), and explore the patterns of integrating local wisdom values into the implementation of P5. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection methods included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with the researcher acting as the primary research instrument. The research findings confirm that local wisdom values have been incorporated into the learning process to strengthen the P5 program in schools. Each dimension of P5 includes elements of local wisdom: D1 incorporates the values of mallise ale and mabbokong; D2 integrates sipakatau, sipakainge, and sipakalebbi; D3 reflects asunpololo; D4 includes agettengeng; D5 emphasizes amaccang; and D6 upholds the value of reso. These values are embedded through intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular activities. The intracurricular approach can also be implemented through project-based or problem-based learning models, encouraging students to think critically about local issues as a means of reinforcing national integration.

Abstract

Tolerance is needed in a diverse environment with different religions, ethnicities, customs, and cultures. So tolerance requires a culture that is done from an early age. Religion has fundamental values that teach its adherents to respect people of different faiths and beliefs so that it can be used as a guide for parents to provide assistance and develop tolerance at home. This research aims to investigate how the involvement and role of parents in cultivating the value of patience at home; do they provide support or hinder? The location of this research is Luwu Raya, a fertile area in Indonesia. This is qualitative research where the researchers chose 105 parents who had early childhood and lived together at home. Interviews were conducted via telephone, and several statements and questions were provided via Google form. The research analysis found that most of the early childhood children have parents who are still intact, live together and are given assistance that supports the cultivation of tolerance values at home. The religious-based tolerance values instilled are moderate (tawassuth), tolerant (tasamuh), balanced (tawazun), equality (musawah), peace (islah), and fair (i`tidal). In addition, the role of parents is mainly done by setting an example and, to a lesser extent, by applying rules and respect. This support is also related to the teachings of the Islamic religion, which emphasises the enormous responsibility of parents. The role of parents in cultivating the value of tolerance is a distinctive feature of a Muslim family, which strongly emphasises the solid relationship in parenting between parents and their children. This condition must be continued in school institutions and the environment, dramatically determining these efforts.

Abstract

Perilaku agresif di kalangan pelajar merupakan masalah yang seringkali menjadi fokus perhatian dalam bidang pendidikan dan psikologi. Dalam upaya untuk mengatasi dan mencegah perilaku agresif, penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara kontrol diri dan kebiasaan game online dengan perilaku agresif pelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelajar kelas XI IPS I, XI IPS II, XII IPS I, XII IPS II SMAN 10 Luwu dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 122 siswa. 122 populasi akan diplih secara acak oleh peneliti. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dalam penelitian ini ialah bahwa kontrol diri relative tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa. Kebiasaan game online memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa SMA. Ketika siswa mempunyai kemampuan kontrol diri yangh baik, maka dapat mengurangi perilaku agresif yang timbul akibat terlalu sering bermain game online. Abstract

The goalkeeper is a position in soccer where the player is allowed to use their hands to catch or deflect the ball, as long as it is within the penalty area. The goalkeeper’s role is crucial to the team, as they are responsible for preventing the ball from entering the goal, which is the main objective of the game. This research was conducted with the aim of improving the goalkeeper’s reaction time in handling match situations that often require quick and accurate decision-making. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The research revealed that there was a significant improvement in the goalkeeper’s reaction time after modifying the training equipment used. At the pre-test stage, the goalkeeper recorded an average score of 29.50, while at the post-test stage, the average score increased to 54.33. This increase indicates that the modification of the training equipment has a significant effect on improving the goalkeeper’s reaction. This improvement in reaction ability is very important because it can improve goalkeepers’ performance in real matches, helping them make faster and more precise decisions in decisive situations, so the effectiveness of the training tool modification used in this study can be recognized as one of the important factors in goalkeeper skill development.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of family support on the career interest tendencies of students at SMAN 1 Palopo. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with twelfth-grade students. Holland's Career Theory is used as a theoretical foundation to understand the relationship between students' personalities and their career choices. The research results show that family support has a significant impact on students' self-confidence and motivation in determining their career paths. Some students, like FFR, receive positive support from their families, which encourages them to pursue careers aligned with their personal interests, while students like FF face pressure from their families to choose careers that are considered safer. This research also found that schools play an important role in providing career counseling services, which help students explore their interests. In conclusion, cooperation between families, schools, and students is very important in the career decision-making process, where constructive family support can enhance students' confidence, while excessive pressure can lead to confusion and dissatisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to (1) provide an overview of how progressive muscle relaxation techniques and group counseling services affect student learning stress, (2) provide an overview of students' learning stress levels both before and after progressive muscle relaxation technique treatment, and (3) determine How progressive muscle relaxation techniques affect student learning stress. This type of quantitative research, pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design approach, consisting of one treatment group. The research sample was 15 class VIII Tahfidz students who were identified as experiencing learning stress. Data collection was obtained using observation and the student learning stress scale, then analyzed using the Shapiro - Wilk test analysis which is used to test the normality of data distribution in a sample, especially in small to medium samples. The results showed that (1) students used the progressive muscle relaxation technique for learning stress in accordance with procedures that had been designed with several implementation stages, (2) the level of student learning stress before using the progressive muscle relaxation technique was high, and the level of student learning stress after using it Progressive muscle relaxation technique is low, and (3) Progressive muscle relaxation technique has the effect of helping students reduce learning stress. The results of this study indicate that the application of progressive muscle relaxation techniques can significantly reduce students' learning stress levels, providing empirical evidence that group counseling interventions are effective in improving students' psychological well-being.
