Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik program paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman. Dalam penelitian ini terlihat bahwa tingkat keaktifan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar yang rendah sehingga tingkat kehadiran peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bisa dibilang sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk melihat gambaran efektivitas komunikasi tutor paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman. (2) Untuk melihat gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman. (3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan efektivitas komunikasi tutor dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik di paket C di PKBM Amanah ST kota Pariaman. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang diteliti, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di ambil sebanyak 40 peserta didik yang terdaftar pada program paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70% yaitu sebanyak 30 peserta didik, penelitian ini menggunakan metode stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah berupa daftar pernyataan. Teknik dalam analisis yang digunakan ialah dengan rumus presentase dan rumus rank order. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Efektivitas komunikasi tutor di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman dikategorikan kurang baik. (2) Motivasi belajar peserta didik paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman dikategorikan rendah. (3) Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara hubungan efektivitas komunikasi tutor dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Diharapkan tutor dapat meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi pembelajaran yang digunakan sehingga dapat dikategorikan sebagai komunikasi yang efektif. (2) Diharapkan kepada peserta didik meningkatkan motivasinya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga materi pembelajaran bisa dengan mudah dikuasai dan dipahami. (3) Diharapkan terjadi komunikasi yang efektif antara tutor dengan peseta didik sehingga hal itu dapat meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar Paket C di PKBM Amanah ST Kota Pariaman

Abstract

The background of this research is due to the phenomenon of not yet developing early reading skills in children. The purpose of this study is to find out factors that caused the lack of parental participation in stimulating The ability to read early children in families in the city of Padang. This study is descriptive quantitative study. The sample of this study is parents who have children aged 4-5 years old who live in Padang city. There are 20 people. Taking sample is used purposive random sampling techniques, that is parents of children who show symptoms of underdeveloped early reading skills. Data Collection uses interview techniques, with interview guidance tools, while for Data processing researchers use a percentage formula. The result of this study is that there were three dominant factors that led to a lack of parental participation in stimulating children’s early reading abilities, there are (1) Parent’ s lack understanding about the tasks and Functional of Paud institutions, (2) The limited time that parents have because they are must work to meet the family’s economic needs, (3) Limited sharing and characteristics of parents about The characteristic and learning styles of early childhood.

Abstract

The era of 4.0, following the advancement of technology especially digital media, has challenged the existed learning activity of kindergarten students. Due to the pandemic situation, learning activity must be conducted from home. Hence, this research aims to observe the teachers’ strategies in preparing digital media to develop children’s literacy skills during online learning. This research used a quantitative approach using the survey method. Findings showed that 90.48% of teachers have planned their strategies properly to develop children’s literacy skills using digital media. Meanwhile from the implementation, 45.24% was not conducted optimally, and from the evaluation, only 53.28% of the children have developed their literacy skills using digital media in online learning. The benefit of this research is to provide an explanation that education in the pandemic era must prioritize coordination between teachers, parents and their children.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang yang diduga ada hubungannya dengan ketegasan pembina. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menggambarkan ketegasan pembina dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka, 2) menggambarkan kedisiplinan siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka, 3) mengetahui hubungan antara ketegasan pembina dengan kedisiplinan siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, adapun populasinya yaitu kelas XI yang berjumlah 261 siswa, dan populasi diambil sebanyak 30% sebagai sampel, dengan teknik pengambilan proportional random sampling, sehingga sampel berjumlah 80 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus presentase dan product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: a) ketegasan pembina dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka tergolong kurang, b) kedisiplinan siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka berkategori kurang, dan c) ada hubungan antara ketegasan pembina dan kedisiplinan siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang, terbukti dari hasil analisis yaitu nilai rhitung besar dari rtabel.

Abstract

Education underwent changes during the emergency period of Covid-19 spread, including Equivalency education in taking measures in response to and anticipation of Covid-19 spread, not having face-to-face learning activity, and changing to online learning. This research aimed to examine the impact of distance/online learning on Equivalency education in Indonesia. This research used quantitative method and survey approach to collect information of distance learning in equivalency education. The respondents were tutors and students of package A, package B, and package C in Sumatra Island, Java Island, and Nusa Tenggara. The research sample consisted of 129 equivalency tutors and 148 equivalence students. The data were collected via online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by presenting the frequency distribution. The research results show that the preparation for distance learning in the facilities and infrastructures aspects in support of learning was not optimal, as shown with low-power and uneven internet network. The learning components were prepared based on the standard determined by tutors themselves referring to the curriculum. The ability of using learning information technology was still a problem because of low digital literacy. Learning was carried out through various platforms of learning management system and social media and the seTara Daring platform prepared by the ministry of education was not used for uniformity of distance/online learning. Assignment was dominant in the learning method. Learning evaluation was carried out through presentation, questions and answers, practice, daily quiz, mid-term exam, and final exam. The inconsistent connectivity between teachers, students, and parents led to students’ affective achievement not in line with learning objective. Therefore, improvement is needed in the implementation of distance/online learning covering improved facilities, application with user friendly platforms, and efficient, continuous and integrative online socialization.

Abstract

The development of early childhood in social behavior in RT 03 RW 06, Sapih Sungai Kelurahan, Kota Padang, in low low category. This is allegedly due to the low social control in the community. This study aims to reveal the picture of social control of society, the image of social behavior of early childhood, and the relationship between the two variables. This research is correlational type research. The population of this study was 68 people and 60% were sampled, with stratified random sample technique. Data collection tools used questionnaires and analysis techniques using the formula percentage and product moment. The results of the study included: (1) community social control in the low category, (2) early child social behavior in low category, (3) there was a significant correlation between social control of society and social behavior of early child. Suggestions in this study other than to the parents, the community needs to improve social control of the community so that children have social behavior that can be accepted well in the community.

Abstract

Health is one of the conditions for a realized generation that is ready with a variety of future competition. Health affects development. Intake of nutritious food from an early age is a solution to health and avoid various diseases. Parents as full responsibility for the sustainability of children's growth and development need to have good knowledge about this and can provide the best service for children. But not all of them can fulfill it. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kepedulian sekelompok masyarakat memberikan bimbingan belajar secara gratis kepada anak-anak SD dari keluarga kurang mampu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peningkatan belajar anak oleh KBSI melalui materi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari subyek penelitian dan informan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini, yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa memperpanjang keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa materi yang diajarkan di KBSI adalah Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, Budaya Alam Minang Kabau (BAM), Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA), dan Bahasa Indonesia. metode yang digunakan oleh KBSI, yaitu metode ceramah, praktek, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Media yang digunakan pada pembelajaran di KBSI adalah media papan tulis, infokus, dan media untuk praktek. Evaluasi pada pembelajaran di KBSI yaitu melalui pengamatan kepada peserta didik untuk melihat kemampuan daya tanggapnya ketika proses belajar.

Abstract

This study background is the success of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) at Balai Betung Payakumbuh. This is proved by the decreasing of Drop Out students, the increasing of the toddler nutrition’s quality, and the decreasing of PKH’s member. This study supposes the impact of the Assistance Function in the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). This study goal is to observe the description of assistance function in the PKH’s members at Balai Betung Payakumbuh. The type of this study is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is all of PKH’s members that are 25 persons. The technique sample of this study is cluster random sampling. The sample is 82% of the population is about 20 persons. The data collecting is using a questionnaire. The data collection tool is a list of statements. The data analysis technique is using a percentage formula. The study result shows the Assistance Function based on the PKH’S member's statement are a) problem-solving consultations in PKH’s activities carried out well. b) the Assistance Function as source management during PKH’s activities carried out well. c) the Assistance Function as an educator in the PKH’S activities carried out well. These show by the members of PKH’s answered often. Based on the study the assistance function suggested to be continued ideally and maintain the activities that have done.Keywords: Function, Assistance, Success, Program

Abstract

This study is based on the effectiveness of learning outcomes pf high learning citizens, motivation and high learning activeness. This condition is suspected because of the excellent professional competence of the instructor. The purpose of the study is to see the competence of the instructor in 1) planning the lesson, 2) carrying out the learning, 3) evaluating the learning, 4) developing the learning of the English course. The population is forty-six people and the sample is forty-six people determined based on sampling technique that is the sensus method. Data collection techniques used questionnaire data collection tool-using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use percentage calculations. The results showed that the professional competence of the instructor was very good seen from 1) planning the learning, 2) implementing the learning 3) evaluating the learning, 4) developing the learning. Conclusion instructors have excellent professional competence. The professional competence of this instructor will influence the improvement of the learning outcomes of the learners.Keywords: Competence, Professional Instructor
