Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan dalam kebijakan publik memerlukan landasan epistemologi yang kuat agar prosesnya rasional, transparan, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran rasionalitas epistemologi dalam filsafat ilmu sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan kebijakan publik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur review dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa epistemologi mampu menjembatani antara bukti ilmiah dan nilai-nilai normatif dalam proses pengambilan keputusan kebijakan publik, sekaligus memperkuat legitimasi publik melalui transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Selain itu, epistemologi terbukti relevan sebagai dasar rasionalitas dalam pengambilan keputusan kebijakan publik. Dengan demikian kesimpulannya epistemologi memberikan fondasi konseptual yang esensial untuk memperkuat kualitas pengambilan keputusan publik yang rasional, adil, dan berorientasi pada kepentingan masyarakat luas.

Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the relevance of the philosophy of science in facing the dynamics of the Society 5.0 Era, which is characterized by the dominance of artificial intelligence (AI). This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-philosophical approach and library research. Data were collected through a critical review of reliable primary and secondary sources. The research findings indicate that the philosophy of science still plays a crucial role as a reflective foundation for understanding the nature of knowledge, truth, and values ​​amidst technological advances. Artificial intelligence, although capable of expanding analytical capacity and data processing efficiency, is instrumental and cannot replace the role of humans as epistemic subjects with moral awareness and interpretative abilities. In conclusion, the integration of AI in Society 5.0 must always be accompanied by philosophical reflection that emphasizes the relationship between knowledge, values, and ethical responsibility, so as to create a society that is not only technologically intelligent but also based on human values.

Abstract

This study examines the urole of a local ulama in the development of the Naqshbandiyah order in Nagari Koto Baru, Sngai Tarab District, Tanah Datar Regency, with particular attention to Syekh Imam Mahyudin al-Khalidi. Previous studies have generally examined the order at the regional level or focused on prominent figures, leaving the role of nagari-level religious leaders in the contemporary period underexplored. This study traces Syekh Imam Mahyudin’s life and scholarly genealogy and analyzes his role in developing the order between 1978 and 2023. The historical method was employed through four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected from interviews with six informants, family documents, photographs, the Surau Talang endowment document, and relevant literature. The findings indicate that Syekh Imam Mahyudin assumed the leadership of Surau Talang in 1978 after receiving a mandate from his teacher, Syekh Abdurrahman Malin Batuah, whose scholarly lineage was connected to Syekh Abdurrahman al-Khalidi, known as Syekh Kumango. He maintained the order’s principal religious activities while developing adaptive forms of community engagement through Silat Kumango and the Al-Badriah shalawat group. These approaches enabled Surau Talang to engage congregants from diverse social backgrounds and supported the continuity of the Naqshbandiyah order and its religious activities until his death in 2023.

Abstract

Indigenous peoples are generally very familiar with their environment. Human nature as a culture being is understood ecologically as one of connected environments. Indigenous peoples' view that humans are an integral part of nature and act responsibly, respectfully and compassionately towards the survival of the universe. Local wisdom as traditional knowledge of nature conservation and environmental protection is regarded as highly valuable and brings many benefits to human life. Purpose of the study It is to describe the holistic and internal strategy to maintain the local wisdom of Tegal public city in the era of modernization. The methods used are qualitative literature or review literature. The Wisdom local of Tegal city exists to this day, the tradition of resident town Tegal for drinking tea, Muti tradition of Tegal city community, Upload tradition of Tegal city community, and Eid Al-Fitr is called Fitri in Tegal City parish. is traditionally used. Strategies are implemented to preserve the wisdom of field scores in an era of modernization: Instill a love of culture in society, host cultural festivals, promote culture, and create culture as an identity.
