Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the principal’s management functions in the implementation of inclusive education to create a child-friendly school in elementary school. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at SD Negeri 2 Jangkungharjo, Grobogan Regency. The research subjects consisted of the principal and classroom teachers. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis employed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the principal had implemented management functions, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, systematically in supporting inclusive education. In conclusion, the principal’s management functions play an important role in creating an inclusive, safe, and non-discriminatory school environment despite limited resources. Abstract

Kinerja guru merupakan faktor kunci dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, namun dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan variasi kinerja yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor manajerial dan lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, dan budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Populasi penelitian adalah guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Godong, Kabupaten Grobogan, dengan sampel sebanyak 189 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, dan budaya sekolah masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien determinasi berturut-turut sebesar 0,646; 0,588; dan 0,538. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 75,3% terhadap variasi kinerja guru. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja guru tidak dapat dilakukan secara parsial, melainkan memerlukan pendekatan yang terintegrasi melalui penguatan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang berkelanjutan, serta pengembangan budaya sekolah yang kondusif. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelola pendidikan dalam merancang strategi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran berbasis sistem manajemen sekolah yang holistik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the strategic role of school principals in planning, implementing, and evaluating inclusive education within the Adiwiyata schools framework (environmentally conscious schools). To achieve this, a qualitative case study approach was used, employing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, followed by data analysis using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results revealed that the principals act as transformative leaders who integrate inclusive values into the school's vision, motivate teaching staff to implement adaptive curriculum practices, and ensure the availability of disability-friendly facilities. Furthermore, the evaluation process involves continuous monitoring to synchronise environmental programs with inclusive policies, thereby creating a synergistic educational ecosystem. The primary objective and contribution of this study are to provide a comprehensive management model that bridges the gap between environmental education and inclusivity. By offering practical insights on how leadership can foster an environment that is "Rahmatan lil 'alamin" (blessing for the universe), this study contributes to the development of educational management literature, particularly in optimising human resources to build schools that are both ecologically conscious and socially just for all students.

Abstract

MGMP Matematika Kabupaten Batang telah berdiri sejak lama namun belum ada kesepakatan terkait pertemuan rutin dan rancangan kegiatan bagi pada anggotanya. Selain itu, para guru di MGMP Matematika Kabupaten Batang belum mengenal STEM-AR yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Urgensi dan fokus kegaiatn pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan aplikatif yang mengintegrasikan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) dan Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pembelajaran matematika sehingga guru dapat mengembangkan Modul Ajar berbasis Pendidikan STEM-AR dan menerapkannya di kelas matematika. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah membentuk Komunitas Belajar STEM-AR dengan fokus pada bidang sosial kemasyarakatan dan manajemen melalui metode pelaksanaan (1) memberikan pelatihan STEM, AR, dan pembuatan Modul Ajar berbasis Pendidikan STEM-AR, dan (2) penerapan hasil pelatihan dalam mengembangkan Modul Ajar berbasis Pendidikan STEM-AR. Kegiatan PkM Pendidikan STEM-SR bagi Guru Matematika di Kabupaten Batang telah terlaksana hingga pelaksanaan penggunaan teknologi tepat guna. Pada kegiatan pelatihan, Guru SMA di Kabupaten Batang telah memahami dengan baik terkait pendidikan STEM, AR, dan pengembangan modul ajar berbasis STEM-AR. Sudah 100% guru matematika di Kabupaten Batang telah mampu mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis STEM-AR. Guru Matematika Kabupaten Batang juga telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis STEM di kelas matematika, namun memang masih perlu ditingkatkan agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan lebih efektif. Siswa dalam kelas tampak antusias dengan pembelajaran berbasis STEM ini karena merupakan pengalaman baru bagi mereka. Perlu adanya perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga kelas menjadi lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to describe junior high school students' mathematical communication skills in Quadratic Function material. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were taken from 2 students each with high, medium and low mathematics abilities in class IX of SMP Negeri 6 Semarang 2023/2024. Data collection was carried out using mathematical communication tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking technique uses the triangulation method. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it was found that subjects with high mathematical abilities and subjects with moderate mathematical abilities were able to fulfill all the mathematical communication indicators given in the questions/problem solving. These indicators are 1) Ability to express problem situations in pictures or graphs (drawing) 2) Ability to express problem situations in the form of mathematical models (mathematical expressions) 3) Ability to explain the solution of ideas or situations from an image given in the model mathematics is in the form of mathematical writing (writing). Meanwhile, subjects with low mathematical abilities are unable to fulfill all the mathematical communication indicators given in the questions/problem solving.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of work environment and transformational leadership on teacher performance in public elementary schools in Limbangan District, Kendal Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of 221 teachers from 30 public elementary schools, from which 142 respondents were selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring teacher performance, work environment, and transformational leadership. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on teacher performance. The findings revealed that the work environment has a significant positive effect on teacher performance (r=0.733; R²=53.7%; p<0.001), indicating that a supportive work environment contributes substantially to improving teacher performance. Transformational leadership also demonstrated a significant positive effect (r=0.824; R²=68.0%; p<0.001), showing a stronger contribution than the work environment. Furthermore, work environment and transformational leadership simultaneously exert a significant influence on teacher performance and explain a substantial proportion of its variance. The results indicate that transformational leadership is the dominant predictor of teacher performance, highlighting the strategic role of school principals in enhancing teacher effectiveness. Therefore, efforts to improve educational quality should prioritize strengthening transformational leadership while fostering a supportive work environment to achieve sustainable improvements in teacher performance.
