Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat cepat telah memberikan dampak pada globalisasi, persaingan bisnis, tuntutan pekerjaan, dan tuntutan gaya hidup menjadi semakin meningkat. Abstract

SDN Tambakrejo 01 Semarang, under the leadership of the Principal, is known to have faced serious challenges, such as the impact of flooding that damaged facilities and physical book collections. This innovation not only overcomes logistical challenges but also changes the literacy culture in the school. This study uses a qualitative case study design that aims to describe and interpret the role of the principal as an innovator in developing a digital library program at SDN Tambakrejo 01 Semarang. Starting from this reality, this study aims to explore the role of the principal as an innovator in the development and implementation of school digitalization through a digital library program at SDN Tambakrejo 01 Semarang. The results of this study The Principal of SDN Tambakrejo 01 initiated the Digital Library program after reflecting on two main problems: book damage due to flooding and low student literacy scores (around 50). An innovative solution resulting from joint reflection by teachers and parents was the creation of the Digital Reading Corner (Subadi) application and the One Student One Book (SASI SABU) program, where students create and upload their own digital books. This program is implemented routinely using available resources (Chromebooks) and supported by close collaboration from all parties, successfully increasing student literacy scores from 50 to 87 in one year, and its sustainability is maintained through regular evaluations and annual competitions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the discovery learning approach for teaching mathematics has an effect on students' learning outcomes. This study is quantitative descriptive research with a pre-experiment, one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research subjects consisted of 31 students from class IXA at junior high school 36 Semarang. The students took a pretest before the implementation of the discovery learning model, and then a posttest was given after the implementation to measure the enhancement of students' learning outcomes. Pretest and Posttest findings revealed an increase in the average scores, which were 47.41 and 80.90, respectively, and the N-Gain test results showed a score of 0.61 in the moderate category. The study's findings shed light on the usefulness of the discovery learning approach in increasing the learning outcomes of class IXA students at junior high school 36 Semarang, particularly in the field of geometry transformation. From the results of the pretest, it was found that 31 students were in the low category. After learning with the discovery learning model, a posttest was carried out with the results of 7 students who were in the low category, 17 students in the medium category, and 7 students in the high category. There were significant changes in the participants' pretest and posttest scores, validating the efficacy of discovery learning strategies. Students who received instruction using the discovery learning model, in particular, had considerably higher posttest results as compared to their pretest scores. This demonstrates a significant increase in their comprehension and application of geometry transformation ideas following participation in the discovery learning technique. Through the discovery learning approach, teachers play a critical role in promoting student-centered learning. While the discovery learning model has been shown to be helpful in improving student learning outcomes, it is critical to investigate other instructional strategies and the use of educational technologies in future research and teaching practices. Additional study should be conducted to explore the usefulness of instructional technology and to establish best practices for its integration in order to improve student accomplishment in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of principal leadership and work culture on the work discipline of elementary school teachers in Tembalang District, Semarang City. This study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was 382 teachers with proportional random sampling techniques to 195 elementary school teachers in Tembalang District, Semarang City. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used classical assumption tests, namely normality tests, linearity tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear analysis, T-test (Partial), F-test (Simultaneous) and coefficient of determination (r2) tests. The results of the first test are a positive and significant influence of principal leadership on the work discipline of elementary school teachers in Tembalang District, Semarang City. The results of the second test are a positive and significant influence of work culture on the work discipline of elementary school teachers in Tembalang District, Semarang City. The results of the third test are a positive and significant influence of principal leadership and work culture simultaneously on the performance of elementary school teachers in Tembalang District, Semarang City. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Hasil pengujian kedua adalah adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan budaya kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Hasil pengujian ketiga adalah adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Abstract

Teacher performance is a crucial indicator in improving the quality of primary education. The 2025 Education Report data show that 34.48% of public elementary schools in Brati District fall into the low category in the learning quality dimension. Supervision reports also indicate that 53% of teachers have incomplete learning administration and 65% have not implemented varied teaching methods. These conditions are presumably related to suboptimal principal leadership, particularly in supervision, innovation, and motivation functions. This study aims to analyze the effect of principal leadership on teacher performance in public elementary schools in Brati District, Grobogan Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of elementary school teachers in Brati District, with samples selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that principal leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The more effective the principal’s leadership, the higher the teacher performance. This study emphasizes the strategic role of principals as supervisors, motivators, and innovators in improving teacher performance. Abstrak Kinerja guru merupakan indikator penting dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar. Data Rapor Pendidikan Tahun 2025 menunjukkan bahwa 34,48% Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Brati berada pada kategori kurang dalam dimensi kualitas pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil supervisi menunjukkan 53% guru belum melengkapi administrasi pembelajaran dan 65% belum menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang variatif. Kondisi tersebut diduga berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang belum optimal, terutama dalam fungsi supervisi, inovasi, dan pemberian motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Brati Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Brati, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Semakin efektif kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, semakin tinggi pula kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor, motivator, dan inovator dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar.
