Abstract

PT PLN Nusantara Power Pembangkit Paiton Unit 1 dan 2 adalah salah satu pembangkit listrik tenaga uap terbesar di Indonesia. Pembangkit ini memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan pasokan daya dan menyalurkannya untuk konsumen wilayah Jawa Timur dan Bali. Dengan cakupan konsumen yang sangat luas di kedua wilayah ini, permintaan akan daya listrik sangat bervariasi tergantung pada aktivitas mereka. Akibat dari variasi permintaan ini, beban pada pembangkit listrik tidak pernah tetap, melainkan selalu berubah dari waktu ke waktu. Namun, karena energi listrik tidak dapat disimpan dalam jumlah besar maka pembangkit harus menghasilkan daya sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen. Generator memainkan peran penting dalam menyediakan pasokan daya tersebut, tetapi adanya fluktuasi beban yang berubah-ubah dari waktu ke waktu dapat memengaruhi efisiensi generator. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menganalisis bagaimana fluktuasi beban yang dialami oleh generator unit 1dan 2 PT PLN Nusantara Power Pembangkit Paiton berdampak terhadap efisiensi generator tersebut. Metode regresi akandigunakan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara fluktuasi beban dan efisiensi generator. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalahfluktuasi beban memiliki pengaruh terhadap efisiensi generator. Berdasarkan analisis hubungan antara efisiensi terhadap perubahan beban pada generator unit 1 dan 2 PT PLN Nusantara Power Pembangkit Paiton, ketika beban generator fluktuatif pada rentang 50% hingga 90% dari beban nominal generator, ditemukan bahwa efisiensi generator relatif konstan sekitar 98%.Efisiensi tertinggi yang dicapai oleh generator unit 1 mencapai 98,27%, yang terjadi pada saat beban 319,061 MVA pada tanggal11 April 2023 pukul 06.00, dan efisiensi terendah sebesar 98,09%, yang terjadi saat beban 235,805 MVA pada tanggal 16 April 2023 pukul 22.00. Sedangkan, efisiensi tertinggi yang dicapai oleh generator unit 2 mencapai 98,3%, yang terjadi pada saat beban 341,458 MVA pada tanggal 14 April 2023 pukul 14.00, dan efisiensi terendah sebesar 98,09%, yang terjadi saat beban 231,864 MVA pada tanggal 15 April 2023 pukul 14.00. Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH) Kali Jari berlokasi di Desa Gadungan, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Blitar. Distribusi beban masing-masing fasa pada jaringan listrik tegangan rendah pada PLTMH Kali Jari masih belum merata, dimana beban berlebih pada fasa R sedangkan beban fasa T hanya dimanfaatkan untuk penerangan rumah pembangkit saja. Jatuhtegangan pada jaringan PLTMH Kali Jari mendekati batas toleransi yang diizinkan oleh PLN . Maka dari itu diperlukan rekonfigurasi atau penataan ulang jaringan dan usaha penyetimbangan beban tiap fasa untuk memperkecil nilai rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada jaringan PLMTH Kali Jari. Analisis aliran daya dengan metode Gauss Seidel dan simulasi dengan ETAP19.0.1 dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada jaringan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan simulasi didapatkan total rugi daya pada jaringan lama yaitu 119.19 W atau 5.96%, lalu jatuh tegangan pada masingmasing fasa yaitu, fasa R 13.07 V, fasa S 10.28 V, dan fasa T 0.01 V atau dalam bentuk persen yaitu, fasa R 5.94 %, fasa S 4.67%, dan fasa T 0.01%. Sedangkan total rugi daya pada jaringan baru yaitu 86.68 W atau 4.41%, lalu jatuh tegangan pada masing-masing fasa yaitu, fasa R 8.00 V, fasa S 8.35 V, dan fasa T 7.84 V atau dalam bentuk persen yaitu, fasa R 3.64 %, fasa S 3.80%, dan fasa T 3.56%. Setelah penyetimbangan beban, terjadi peningkatan kualitas listrik pada jaringan baru PLTMH Kali Jari, dimana terdapat penurunan totalrugi daya sebesar 32.5107 W dan terdapat penurunan nilai jatuh tegangan pada fasa R dan S, namun terdapat kenaikan nilai jatuhtegangan pada fasa T. Jatuh tegangan fasa R pada jaringan lama masih lebih tinggi dibanding fasa S dan fasa T, sedangkan jatuhtegangan masing-masing fasa pada jaringan baru sudah merata di 4%. Ketidakseimbangan beban pada jaringan lama masih sangat besar, yaitu 54.52%, sedangkan pada jaringan baru sudah kecil, yaitu 0.62%. Abstract

Susut energi merupakan salah satu ukuran efisien atau tidaknya suatu pengoperasian suatu jaringan sistem distribusi. Susut energi adalah kerugian energi akibat masalah teknis dan non teknis pada penyaluran energi listrik. Biasanya perhitungan susut energi pada sistem jaringan distribusi dilakukan dengan menggunakan selisih energi terjual dengan yang diterima pada setiappenyulang. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan susut energi teknis yang lebih rinci, yaitu dengan menghitung susuttransformator distribusi dan susut konduktor pada penyulang dan juga susut non teknis yang dihitung melalui selisih antara susut energi total penyulang dan total susut energi teknis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Penyulang Novotel Gardu Induk Kuta PLN UP3 Mataram. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan susut energi teknis pada Penyulang Novotel adalah sebesar 34.896,22 kWh dansusut energi non teknis sebesar 1.396,778 kWh, sehingga susut energi total dari Penyulang novotel sebesar 36.293 kWh atausebesar 7,3 %. Susut energi pada Penyulang Novotel masih berada pada standar PLN dimana menurut Standar PLN (SPLN)D3.002-2 2008 yang menyatakan bahwa susut energi boleh terjadi dengan nilai maksimal 5% s.d 10%.Susut energi PenyulangNovotel dalam jangka waktu satu tahun diperkirakan sebesar 441.557,83 kWh. Abstract

One device that is a nonlinear load is AC (Air Conditioner) or air conditioner. This can happen because of the use of induction motors in AC which work using the principles of electromagnetic induction so that they have saturation properties or conditions where the current is not proportional to the voltage. In the manufacture of train carriages by PT INKA on the 612 SS New Generation Train Unit project, two units of AC with specifications of 20,000 kCal, 10 kW are used in each carriage. The use of thisload has the potential to produce harmonic distortion in it. This research focuses on the effect of using AC on the quality of voltage and current waves that occur in K3 train carriages. The research process was carried out by taking in 3 conditions, namely without AC load, AC load, and overall load. The tools used are a Hioki CM3286-50 clamp meter and an oscilloscope. From the test results, it is known that the AC used in K3 train cars produces a THDv of 1.71% R phase, 1.67% S phase and 2.17% T phase. Meanwhile, THDi is 4.94% R phase, 6.37% S phase, and 6.79% T phase. The use of AC load does not have a significant effect on voltage harmonics but has a big effect on current harmonics which when there is no AC load produces a THDi of 59.49% R phase, 29.98% S phase, and 118.14% T phase. However, after using an AC load it produces a THDi of 4.31% R phase, 4.75% S phase, and 6.35% T phase. Because AC has a large current, the THDi value tends to be similar to AC load conditions only. It can be concluded that energysaving lamp loads containing power converter components produce higher harmonics than induction motor loads on AC. Apart from that, the THDv and IHDv values from various load conditions meet the IEEE 519-2014 standard, namely a maximum of 8% for THD and 5% for IHD. The THDi and IHDi values at full load conditions also meet IEEE 519-2014 standards, namely a maximum of 8% for TDD and 7% for IHD orders 3 to 11. Keywords: Harmonics, AC, Non-linear, Voltage, Current

Abstract

Stroke is a focal or global neurological disorder that occurs acutely and is related to cerebral circulation disturbances. It occurs when blood cannot reach the brain to supply oxygen and nutrients and to remove waste products, which can lead to brain cell death. Stroke recurrence can be prevented by controlling risk factors such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes mellitus. More than 50% of stroke cases are related to hypertension, while 1 in 4 cases are related to high levels of bad cholesterol (Low-Density Lipoprotein/LDL). The aim of this research is to design a wireless sensor system that can measure heart rate, oxygen level, and blood pressure non-invasively, which can be integrated with a microcontroller for transmission to monitoring devices.Photoplethysmography (PPG), as a non-invasive tool for monitoring various cardiovascular parameters, has become popular due to its easy integration with wearable devices and its uniform properties. This research proposes the development of an advanced PPG sensor design using three LED light variants as a light source with fixed wavelengths. The proposed sensor will be integrated with a smartwatch capable of operating in the Internet of Things (IoT) network, creating a more holistic and digitally connected monitoring system. From the testing results of the PPG sensor on the noninvasive smartwatch for measuring heart rate, bloodpressure, and oximeter with selective wavelength sensor based on IoT, the accuracy level of blood pressure readings was found to be 99.8%, heart rate 99.48%, and oxygen levels 99.96%. Testing was performed by comparing the reading data with reference data from commercial sphygmomanometers and oximeters. The smartwatch uses Bluetooth Low Energy communication protocol tocommunicate with Android device applications. The received data is processed and stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. Abstract

Electrical power loss is a crucial issue for PLN. To avoid a total blackout on the system, rotating blackouts are often carried out. This causes the electrical power supplied to consumers to be smaller than it should be. This power loss always exists because the equipment used does not have a 100% efficiency level. There are developments in the electricity distribution network which is becoming more complex with an increase in consumers, the addition of new branches, and variations in load additions. More systematic methods are needed to calculate and manage these losses. In this research, the Modified Carson calculation process and simulation were carried out using the ETAP 19.0.1 application which aims to determine the power loss in the Graha Kota feeder. In this feeder there are 2 types of phase cables, namely 150 mm2 and 240 mm2 phase cables, and a load of 15391.26 kVA, then this data is entered into the Modified Carson calculation to get the Modified Carson impedance value. Then a simulation is carried out on the ETAP 19.0.1 application to get the results of existing losses and Modified Carson power losses. From the results of the analysis carried out, the percentage of total power loss to the existing system power is 7.49%. Meanwhile, the percentage of total power loss on the power of the Modified Carson system produces a total power loss percentage of 10.69%. The percentage difference between the two methods is 3.2%. Referring to SPLN 1:1987, the permitted power loss is only 10%, so the calculation results of the Modified Carson method which involves more accurate impedance do not meet the established standards, so efforts are needed to reduce losses on the Graha Kota feeder. Abstract

Stabilitas transien terjadi saat sistem tenaga mempertahankan frekuensi, tegangan, arus tetap stabil atau konstan jika terjadi gangguan seperti gangguan hubung singkat. Semakin cepat sebuah sistem kembali pulih pada keadaan steady state semakin kecil kemungkinan adanya kerusakan pada sistem. Untuk itu diperlukan analisis pada sistem dan alternatif tambahan yang dapat mengurangi waktu transien. Penilitian ini membahas mengenai respon transien saat ada gangguan hubung singkat pada sistem kelistrikan Madura 150kV. Dengan tiga rangkaian berbeda yaitu rangkaian AC, rangkaian dengan windfarm dan rangkaian HVDC VSC-LCC yang disimulasikan dengan software DIGSILENT. Hasil simulasi menunjukan perbedaan tegangan, serta respon arus dan frekuensi pada bus Sumenep 2 setelah gangguan hubung singkat. Abstract

This research aims to determine the appropriate OCR settings to handle potential short-circuit currents in the distribution network of Unit 3A at Paiton Power Plant under existing load conditions. This study focuses on the Overcurrent Relay (OCR) protection device. The short-circuit current calculations are performed mathematically using the per-unit method and sequence impedance circuit. The OCR resetting calculations in this study apply the British Standard BS-142 for relay current settings, the IEC 60255-151 standard for inverse relay operating time, and the IEEE 242 standard for relay coordination time delay. In this study, short-circuit current simulation and OCR operation simulation are conducted using the ETAP 12.6 application. The results of this research indicate the OCR relay settings as follows: Extremely Inverse with a Pickup of 0.88 and TMS of 0,425, Very Inverse with a Pickup of 0.4 and TMS of 0.1, Long Time Inverse with a Pickup of 0.75 and TMS of 0.025. Additionally, relay coordination with a time delay of 0.2-0.4 seconds is achieved. Based on the simulations, the OCR operates effectively and in compliance with the standards. Abstract

The conversion of high voltage with continuous input and output is a crucial requirement for current applications such as electric vehicles and renewable energy. In this research, a converter is proposed based on the Cuk converter by modifying the components into two switches, three inductors, three diodes, and four capacitors. The duty cycle and pulse signals on both switches are the same. The circuit analysis process is carried out using the continuous conduction mode method, assuming eachcomponent is in an ideal state. The analysis is conducted in two modes: when the switch is on and when the switch is off. Simulation and circuit analysis are shown to convert an input voltage of 12 volts to 156 volts on the output side. Simulations are conducted to analyze the input voltage, input current, output voltage, output current, voltage on the capacitor, current on the inductor, and then compare the changes in duty cycle to the output voltage, changes in duty cycle to efficiency, changes in duty cycle to the voltage stress on the switch and diode, and voltage stress on the switch relative to voltage gain. The results of these comparisons indicate that this converter can provide higher efficiency and a wider voltage gain capability with lower voltage stress value. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain the setting of the overcurrent relay (OCR) and the right coordination to protect the Jetis feeder network from 3-phase and 2-phase short-circuit current levels. The addition of OCR is also done on the Jetis Feeder to improve network reliability. To set OCR, it starts by calculating the 3-phase and 2-phase short-circuit currents in each protection zone based on the impedance of the equipment that supports each protection zone. The calculation of OCR settings uses the British BS-142 standard guideline with OCR working time using the IEC 60255-151:2009 standard with the OCR curve type standard inverse. ETAP software in the study was used to simulate short-circuit currents and also OCR work analysis. The output of the ETAP simulation is in the form of short-circuit current values for each protection zone and also the OCR working time curve of each protection zone. The result of this study is OCR resetting from the existing value that the OCR coordination condition of zone 1 and zone 2 is still overlapping. Therefore, OCR zone 1 and OCR zone 2 were reset with the TMS result in zone 1 being 0.4 and TMS zone 2 being 0.225. The trip time distance between zone 1 and zone 2 is 0.397s. The analysis of the addition of OCR in Zone 3 to improve reliability by sharing the load. The addition of OCR in zone 3 results in a TMS of 0.1. The trip time distance between zone 2 and zone 3 is 0.283s which is in accordance with the IEEE std 242-1986 standard for the working time limit between two relays is 0.2s-0.4s. Therefore, the delay time distance in zone 1, zone 2 and zone 3 relays has worked well according to existing protection guidelines.
