Abstract

Technological developments in the 4.0 era are currently growing rapidly, one of the advantages is that it makes it easier for users to control electronic equipment remotely. Only with a device, users can access all information through connectivity called the Internet of Think. The Internet of Things is a technological concept where all electronic equipment is interconnected with internet media so that it can be controlled or monitored from wherever the user needs it. The purpose of this research is to create a room condition control system based on the Internet of Think, where the device can be operated either automatically according to the schedule we set or manually. This system also has a monitoring system via a web server so that we can control and monitor the device without having to approach the device to turn it on or off. The device made in this study utilizes a temperature sensor and a smoke sensor as a sensor input medium to the controller. As an output, it utilizes a servo that is used to open and close the window so that the condition of the room can be controlled. To control the device remotely, the device is connected wirelessly by using wifi media which is one of the features of the nodemcu controller. The output of this research is the servo status on the window, fan, and air content displayed on the device and the web so that comfortable room conditions can be created according to the predetermined set point.

Abstract

Wind Power Plant (PLTB) has received a lot of attention from the public, researchers, and the government because of its advantages and role in reducing the causes of environmental damage due to the generation of electrical energy. Unlike power plants that use primary energy from fossil fuels, PLTB uses wind kinetic energy to generate electricity. Many problems arise because the wind speed is always changing every time. The resulting output voltage instability in the generator can affect the electric power system where the output electricity of the generator is injected. This paper describes how to analyze the generator output voltage control at PLTB. The generator used is a type of induction generator with two inputs (Double-Fed Induction Generator, DFIG). while the method of analysis is carried out using the PSIM simulation tool from Powersim, Inc. Control is carried out both on the rotor side (Rotor Side Converter, RSC) and on the grid side (Grid Side Converter), with the aim of maintaining the output voltage injected into the power grid with a certain level of voltage oscillation. The control results show that the generator output voltage can be maintained as desired.

Abstract

Accurate long-term electricity load forecasting was essential for efficient energy planning and infrastructure development. This study addressed forecasting challenges in rapidly growing regions, such as East Java, where electricity demand was influenced by both linear and non-linear patterns. Conventional forecasting models, such as the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) effectively captured linear trends but failed to model non-linear dynamics, whereas networks with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) excelled with non-linear data but were often less effective when used alone. This research developed and evaluated an ARIMA-LSTM hybrid model optimized with the Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm to forecast electricity load until 2026. The model was trained and validated using historical daily load data from 2021 to 2023 from PT PLN UP2B East Java. This hybrid methodology first used ARIMA to model the linear components of the time series. The resulting residual errors, which contained non-linear patterns, were then modeled using an LSTM network. The DE algorithm was used to automatically optimize hyperparameters for both the ARIMA (p, d, q) and LSTM (units, learning rate, drop out etc.) components. The suggested hybrid model's performance was contrasted with that of the independent LSTM and ARIMA models. The results showed that the DE-optimized hybrid model achieved higher accuracy, yielding a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 3.97 %, which was significantly better than the ARIMA model (12.39 % MAPE) and the LSTM model (4.50 % MAPE) on the validation set. According to these results, the suggested hybrid model was a dependable and extremely accurate instrument for predicting long-term loads, offering a solid basis for strategic energy planning.

Abstract

Dusun Begawan, Pandansari Lor, Kecamatan Jabung, Kabupaten Malang memiliki aliran sungai yang panjang, sehingga sungai tersebut berpotensi dimanfaatkan untuk pembangunan PLTMH. Beberapa faktor yangdiperlukan untuk pembangunan PLTMH ini adalah head dan debit air. Besar head didapatkan dari pengukuran menggunakan meteran, besar debit air didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode pelampung. Dengan rancangan head sebesar 2,9 m dan debit air sebesar 64,6901 ??⁄ . PLTPH ini menghasilkan output daya sebesar 1,1244 kW. Kapasitas PLTPH sebesar 1,1244 kW cukup untuk menyuplai kebutuhan listrik penerangan jalan sebanyak 59 buah lampu yang beroperasi dari pukul 17:00 hingga 05:00 dan 1 buah pemanas air yang beroperasi dari pukul 06:00 hingga 18:00. Abstract

Penggunaan Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) telah menjadi pilihan utama dalam mengalirkan berbagai jenis fluida, terutama cairan berat atau kental dan pengoperasian pada fluktuasi tekanan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kemampuannya untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengalirkan fluida dengan viskositas tinggi dan pengoperasian pada tekanan yang berfluktuasi, serta kemampuannya untuk memberikan aliran yang stabil dan berkelanjutan. Motor penggerak yang umum digunakan dalam aplikasi PCP adalah motor induksi 3 fasa. Motor induksi 3 fasa banyak digunakan untuk menggerakkan rotating equipment di industri karena keandalannya, efisiensinya, konstruksi yang sederhana, harga yang lebih murah, dan mudah dalam perawatannya. Namun, pengoperasian motor induksi 3 fasa untuk aplikasi PCP memiliki kebutuhan akan pengaturan kecepatan serta dapat mempertahankan kecepatan dan torsi motor dalam kondisi yang dinamik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis penggunaan sebuah Variable Speed Drive (VSD) dengan metode Direct Torque Control (DTC) untuk aplikasi PCP menggunakan MATLAB dan Simulink. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya metode DTC dapat mencapai kecepatan yang diinginkan serta mempertahankan kecepatan pada kondisi dinamik pada motor induksi 3 fasa berbeban PCP dengan mengontrol torsi motor dan fluks stator secara langsung. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kinerja rangkaian snubber pada rangkaian inverter full-bridge SPWM unipolar. Dalam merancang rangkaian inverter, salah satu faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikan adalah masalah kerugian daya yang terjadi pada sakelar elektronik yang digunakan. Kerugian daya pada sakelar elektronik itu sendiri terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu pada kondisi ON dan pada kondisi peralihan. Alternatif untuk mengurangi kerugian pensakelaran adalah dengan menambahkan rangkaian snubber pada sakelar elektronik. Selain itu manfaat lain dari rangkaian snubber adalah untuk melindungi sakelar elektronik yang harganya relatif lebih mahal dibandingkan dengan harga komponen-komponen yang ada pada rangkaian snubber tersebut.Kata Kunci: Rangkaian Snubber, Rangkaian Inverter, THD, Karakteristik Switching.

Abstract

Makalah ini menyajikan hasil evaluasi selektivitas dan keandalan Overcurrent Relay (OCR) dan Ground Fault Relay (GFR) dalam sistem proteksi distribusi tenaga listrik 66/11 kV menggunakan simulasi perangkat lunak ETAP dan pengujian lapangan dengan CMC 356. Sistem yang dimodelkan terdiri atas trafo 100 kVA dan beban 10 kVA dengan konfigurasi jaringan satu garis, dan disimulasikan untuk menangani gangguan antar-fasa dan satu-fasa ke tanah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa OCR lebih cepat merespons gangguan antar-fasa karena arus gangguan yang lebih besar, sedangkan GFR lebih efektif mendeteksi gangguan satu-fasa ke tanah yang berarus lebih kecil. Kinerja dan waktu operasi keduanya dipengaruhi oleh besar arus dan lokasi gangguan. Koordinasi yang tepat antara OCR dan GFR terbukti penting untuk menjamin selektivitas dan keandalan sistem proteksi. Pengujian di lapangan mengonfirmasi bahwa pengaturan relai telah sesuai standar IEC 66255, mencakup sensitivitas dan waktu tunda yang optimal. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya desain proteksi yang cermat dan evaluasi berkala guna meningkatkan keandalan dan keamanan distribusi tenaga listrik pada level 66/11 kV.

Abstract

This research introduces an adaptive improved particle swarm optimization (AIPSO) approach for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) approach designed to enhance energy harvesting from photovoltaic (PV) systems under dynamic irradiance conditions. The proposed AIPSO algorithm addresses the challenges associated with traditional MPPT methods, particularly in scenarios characterized by fluctuating solar irradiance, such as step changes and partial shading. By incorporating a robust reinitialization strategy along with updated velocity and position equations, the algorithm demonstrates superior performance in terms of convergence accuracy, tracking speed, and tracking efficiency. This modification enables the algorithm to effectively escape local maxima and explore a wider search space, leading to improved convergence and optimal power point tracking. Furthermore, the adaptive nature of the PSO enhances the algorithm’s ability to respond to real-time changes in environmental conditions, making it particularly suitable for large- scale PV systems subjected to varying atmospheric factors. Here, “adaptive” denotes coefficient scheduling (C3) and a re-initialization trigger that responds to irradiance regime changes; “intelligent” denotes robust regime shift detection and safe duty ratio clamping. Across uniform, step change, and partial shading conditions, the proposed AIPSO achieves fast reconvergence and high tracking efficiency with negligible steady state oscillations, as summarized in the results. Building on this contribution, future research will focus on evaluating its scalability across different PV architectures and large-scale grid integration with real hardware setup.
