Abstract

IntroductionLampung Province consists of heterogeneous tribes and ethnicities. The majority is Muslim, followed by Protestants, Catholics, Hindus, and Buddhists. This makes Lampung Province known as the earth of ruwai jurai. This condition makes Lampung Province a miniature of the State of Indonesia.ObjectivesThis study investigates the religiosity and determinants of consumption of urban and sub-urban communities in Lampung Province.MethodThis study uses a quantitative research approach with a sample of 262 participants.ResultsThe findings revealed that there was no significant difference between rural and urban communities in purchasing food. Further, it was revealed that the respondents who made the object were consumers in the modern market with ages between 21-40 years old at 64.9% and with high school and Strata 1 education at 89.7%. Education level and age are the main factors in public consumption both in urban and rural areas. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the better understanding of religion a Muslim community has, the more selective they will be in purchasing the products they need. Therefore, it can be concluded that urban and rural communities consume research variables from the aspect of religiosity and economic determinants in the same condition so that modern markets as research locations provide an equal impact on urban and rural communities in consumption. ImplicationsStakeholders need to expand permits for the operation of modern markets by paying attention to the economy of traditional economic actors. Other factors, such as improving the quality and equitable distribution of education and increasing information about products both by producers and the government through mass media and social media, are also actively carried out carefully.Originality/Novelty This study provides an additional understanding of how religiosity contributes to consumption in societies with differing religious backgrounds.

Abstract

Counselor skills are a counselor’s ability to provide guidance and counseling services. Skills are one of the main assets that a counselor must have because skills occupy a vital position in the counseling service process. Counselor skills are not only seen in terms of material mastery skills (intellectual) and attitudes (emotional), but the skills that have an important role that counselors must have are religious (spiritual) experience skills. One of the stories in the Qur'an that contains social-spiritual value is the story of the Prophet Yusuf a.s. The story of the Prophet Yusuf is described in a flexible manner in Surah Yusuf verse 4-101. It contains the struggle, strategy and patience of Prophet Yusuf in living his life both personally, as a family and within the wider community (social public). This type of research is qualitative library research. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used is the content analysis method. The research results illustrate the implementation of patience in the story of the Prophet Yusuf in counselor skills, namely the processes of attending, leading and following up, which are basic units that are interrelated and systematically sequential so that the counseling process is well directed KEYWORDS: Prophet Yusuf, Counselor, Patient, Al-Qur’an

Abstract

Tapandullu Beach, located in Mamuju Regency, is a stunning tourist destination, renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. With its fine white sand and crystal clear waters, the beach is an ideal choice for visitors seeking a tranquil and relaxing nature experience. Around the beach, a number of MSME players are trying to capitalize on the existing tourism potential. They offer a variety of specialty products, ranging from local food to handicrafts that reflect regional culture. These businesses not only add value for visitors, but also contribute to the economic growth of the local community. However, challenges cannot be ignored. MSME players must compete with products from outside that often have better variety and quality. This study examines the management strategies of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing global competition, with a sharia-based approach. Sharia Enterprise Theory (SET) is used to understand the sharia-based approach. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving MSME players in Tapandullu Beach, Mamuju Regency. The results showed that the application of sharia principles not only increases the competitiveness of MSMEs in a sustainable manner, but also helps in maintaining ethical values and social responsibility. MSMEs and managers have three groups of stakeholders that must be taken into account in every accountability. FGD participants identified key challenges such as limited capital, poor marketing, and product quality. Proposed solutions included access to Islamic financing, digital cooperation, and skills training. The findings are expected to guide other MSME players in formulating suitable strategies, so that they can improve their position and contribution in the global market more effectively.

Abstract

This article endeavors to conduct a comprehensive legal juxtaposition of moral and economic rights within the contexts of Indonesia and France. Intellectual property rights, specifically copyright, constitute the focal point of analysis, safeguarding various forms of creative expression encompassing literary, artistic, and scientific works. Within the realm of copyright, a fundamental distinction exists between economic rights, which are subject to arbitrary transfer, and moral rights, which inherently vest with the creator or artist and resist divestiture. Employing conceptual and normative approaches, supplemented by data procured from library resources, this research adopts qualitative data analysis techniques, encompassing both traditional and online research methodologies. The findings of this investigation illuminate dissimilarities in the legal frameworks governing intellectual property rights protection between Indonesia and France. France accentuates the significance of cultural and moral rights, prioritizing the intrinsic connection between the creator and their creation. In contrast, Indonesia places greater emphasis on economic considerations and the protection of economic interests. These disparities manifest in the divergent regulatory structures governing industrial design and copyright in each jurisdiction. Notwithstanding these distinctions, the article contends that achieving harmonization and fostering a nuanced understanding of these regulations is imperative to facilitate cross-border collaborations within the global economy and creative industries. Such harmonization is pivotal for advancing the collective interests of nations and creators alike.
