Abstract

Blood type is important for human life and is very useful in medical matters such as determining the blood type of parents and children, the success of medical procedures such as blood transfusions and organ transplants. Transfusion of blood from an incompatible group causes an immunological transfusion reaction resulting in hemolytic anemia, kidney failure, shock and death. Most of the students of Al-Fityan School Aceh's tahfiz program do not know their blood type. Apart from that, the students of the Al-Fityan School Aceh tahfiz program have minimal knowledge about blood types. The aim of this community service is to increase students' knowledge about the urgency of checking blood types and its application in everyday life. The target of this community service is the female students of the Al-Fityan School Aceh tahfiz program, consisting of 47 people. The implementation begins with education first and continues with a blood type check. Examination Results: The blood group of the female students of Tahfis Al- Fityan School Aceh is blood group O, namely 70% (31 people), while blood groups A and B are 12.8% (6 people) respectively and the smallest blood group frequency is blood group AB, namely 8.5% (4 people).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the da’wah carried out by Kiai Fauzan in ‘Pohon Keramat’ short story by Dawam Rahardjo. Kiai Fauzan’s da’wah has an unexpected impact, reflecting the dynamics between faith, society, and the environment. This study uses text analysis methods and an interdisciplinary approach to explore the implementation of his da’wah. The results indicate that his da’wah, which adheres to absolute belief in the principles of faith (monodisciplinary), without ecological, ethical philosophy, and sociological considerations (multidisciplinary) actually causes environmental damage (nature and society). This study indicates the need for a more holistic da’wah approach, paying attention to “local wisdom” and ecological-sociological impacts so that da’wah does not only focus on changing faith, but also on environmental sustainability and social welfare. Thus, it suggests an inclusive and adaptive da’wah model, which is able to embrace society without ignoring environmental aspects that are vital to life.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to find out the students’ difficulties in developing a paragraph and to understand the students’ difficulties in implementing the writing elements in writing their undergraduate thesis proposals. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used in this research were interviews, documentation, and Oshima & Hogue’s Paragraph Rubric. The research subject was 7 eighth-semester students of UINSI Samarinda. The data were collected from the background of the study of the student’s undergraduate thesis proposals and analyzed with the Miles and Huberman Model. The result showed that the difficulties in developing a paragraph experienced by the students were related to too specific and too general topic sentences, poor supporting sentences, the absence of concluding sentences, inconsistent topic discussion, and inharmonic sentences. At the same time, the students’ difficulties shown in implementing the writing elements were found in the organization (the failure to run the sentences smoothly), vocabulary (informal phrases, redundancy, unclear word), grammar (singular and plural error, wrong word choice errors, missing word error, article error, subject-verb agreement error, fragment error, conjunction error, wrong word form error, wrong word order error, and preposition error), and mechanics (capitalization error, punctuation error, and spelling error). The causes of these problems were the interference of students’ native language and the lack of knowledge about the rules of the development of paragraph and writing elements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in clinical symptoms, Total Hemocyte Count (THC), and Differential Hemocyte Count (DHC) in healthy vannamei shrimp and those infected with AHPND. The research was conducted in May 2024 at the Biota and Environmental Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The method used was sampling with two treatments (T1 and T2) observed at seven time intervals: 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hours. The results showed that clinical symptoms of AHPND-infected vannamei shrimp included reddening of the body, red swimming legs, pale hepatopancreas, and abnormal tilted swimming patterns. THC values obtained in both treatments (T1 and T2) across all time intervals showed no significant differences (P>0.05). DHC analysis revealed that the highest hyaline cell count in T1 occurred at 6 hours (64.59%), while in T2, it occurred at 0 hours (65.97%). The highest granular cell count in T1 was observed at 3 hours (29.17%), while in T2, it was at 72 hours (47.67%). The highest semi-granular cell count in T1 was recorded at 0 hours (27.38%), while in T2, it was at 48 hours (54.38%).

Abstract

This community services activity aims to support environmental conservation activities by Amabilis Lestari Forest Farmer Group and Pantai Baru Forest Farmer Group in Sabuhur village, Jorong District, Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan. Partners in this program carried out the rescue of local Kalimantan Orchids and ulin wood around the village. The problem is that the kept orchids have not been indicated and inventoried. In this activity, exploration of orchids into their habitat and identification of the types of orchids kept by partners. There are 58 families of orchids maintained by partners with a total of 1.636 plants. Types of orchids are named using a QR-Code attached to the orchids to make it easier to identify the type of orchids. The information contains photos of orchids, identification, habitat, and how to care for them. This service activity can help partners identify all types of orchids that are kept and display them in the form of information that is easily accessible to visitors.

Abstract

Lobak merah (Raphanus raphanistrum) merupakan tanaman semusim berupa perdu berakar tunggang yang bisa dikonsumsi sebagai sayuran, dapat juga dimanfaatkan sebagai obat-obatan dan digunakan sebagai bahan kosmetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari dosis terbaik dari interaksi pemberian bokasi lidah buaya dan pupuk fosfat pada tanah podsolik merah kuning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) factorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu faktor bokasi lidah buaya (b) dan pupuk fosfat (p) terdiri dari 3 taraf dengan masing-masing perlakuan sebanyak 3 kali dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman sehingga terdapat 81unit sampel penelitian. Perlakuan tersebut yaitu: u b1 = 25 g/polybag, b2 = 50 g/polybag, b3 = 75 g/polybag, p1= 0,5 g/polybag, p2 = 1 g/polybag dan p3 = 1,5 g/polybag. Pelaksanaan penelitian meliputi persiapan bokasi lidah buaya, persiapan tempat penelitian, persiapan media tanam, persemaian benih, penanaman, pemeliharaan dan pemanenan. Variable pengamatan meliputi: jumlah daun (helai), Panjang umbi (cm), diameter umbi (cm), berat segar umbi (g), berat segar tanaman (g) dan berat kering tanaman (g). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil bahwa jumlah daun terbanyak berjumlah 2 helai setelah 2 mst.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan yang menekankan kesadaran lingkungan sangatlah penting, khususnya di tingkat sekolah dasar. SDN 1 Padamara menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan sampah karena fasilitas pembuangan yang tidak memadai sehingga menimbulkan penumpukan sampah yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan kenyamanan siswa. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kebersihan lingkungan sekolah melalui pembangunan tempat sampah berbahan batu bata yang juga berfungsi sebagai insinerator. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi survei penilaian kebutuhan, pendekatan partisipatif, dan praktik konstruksi berkelanjutan. Hasil survei menunjukkan kebutuhan mendesak akan fasilitas pembuangan limbah yang memadai, dan keterlibatan komunitas sekolah dalam proses pembangunan menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab kolektif. Tempat sampah tersebut, dibuat dari batu bata merah yang tidak diplester, dirancang untuk tahan terhadap suhu tinggi dan beroperasi secara efisien, sehingga memfasilitasi pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, SDN 1 Padamara diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengelolaan sampah yang efektif dan ramah lingkungan serta mendorong lebih lanjut program pendidikan yang berfokus pada daur ulang. Kata kunci: pengelolaan sampah; tempat sampah; kesadaran lingkungan AbstractEducation emphasizing environmental awareness is critical, particularly at the elementary school level. SDN 1 Padamara faces significant challenges in waste management due to insufficient disposal facilities, resulting in waste accumulation that negatively impacts student health and comfort. This project aims to enhance the cleanliness of the school environment through the construction of waste bins made from bricks that also function as incinerators. The methodologies employed include needs assessment surveys, participatory approaches, and sustainable construction practices. Survey results indicate an urgent need for adequate waste disposal facilities, and the involvement of the school community in the construction process fosters a collective sense of responsibility. The bins, constructed from unplastered red bricks, are designed to withstand high temperatures and operate efficiently, thereby facilitating improved waste management. Consequently, SDN 1 Padamara is expected to serve as a model for effective and environmentally friendly waste management and to promote further educational programs focused on recycling Keywords: waste management; trash bin; environmental awareness

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made to improve the problem of low pH and low peat soil fertility is by providing ameliorant materials and organic fertilizer. Ameliorant is a material that can improve soil fertility and overcome soil acidity, one of which is red mud as a soil conditioner because it has a very alkaline pH. The objectives of this research are: 1. To assess the availability of N, P, K, Ca and Mg nutrients in peat media that is ameliorated with red mud and vegetable waste. 2. To assess the nutrient uptake of N, P, K in white radish  grown in peat media with amelioration of red mud and vegetable waste bokashi.This research was carried out at the Experimental Field, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRD) with 2 factors. The first factor is red mud dosage (R) and the second factor is vegetable waste bokashi (B), Each factor consist of 3 level of dosage,  Red mud dosage levels are: 16 tons/ha; 18 tons/ha; 20 tons/ha, the bokashi dosage level for vegetable waste is: 15 tons/Ha; 20 tons/ha and 25 tons/ha. Observation variables include the availability of nutrients N, P, K, Ca, Mg, uptake of nutrients N, P, K, dry weight and fresh weight of white radish. The research showed that the application of red mud and  vegetable waste bokashi to peat soil was able to increase pH, base saturation, availability of the nutrients P, Ca, Mg, K and Na. However, the application of red mud and bokashi vegetable waste reduced the CEC and Organic C values of the soil. The uptake of the nutrients N, P and K was relatively the same between treatment combinations, the absorption of the N element was the greatest, followed by the elements K and P. The application of 18 tons/ha of red mud and 15 tons/ha of vegetable waste bokashi was an effective dose for the growth and yield of white radish on peat soil. Key words: peat, red mud, vegetable waste bokashi, radish INTISARI          Satu di antara upaya yang  dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kendala pH rendah dan kesuburan tanah gambut yang rendah yaitu dengan pemberian bahan amelioran dan pupuk organik. Amelioran merupakan bahan yang dapat memperbaiki tanah dan mengatasi kemasaman tanah, salah satunya yaitu lumpur merah (Red mud) sebagai pembenah tanah karena memiliki pH yang sangat basa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1. Mengkaji ketersediaan hara N,P,K,Ca dan Mg pada media gambut yang diameliorasi dengan red mud dan bokasi limbah sayuran. 2. Mengkaji serapan hara N,P,K pada tanaman lobak yaang ditanam pada media gambut dengan ameliorasi red mud dan bokashi limbah sayuran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Faktorial Pola Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor.  Faktor pertama yaitu dosis red mud (R) sebanyak 3 taraf dan faktor kedua yaitu Bokasi limbah Sayuran (B) sebanyak 3 taraf sehingga terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Taraf dosis red mud adalah: 16 ton/ha; 18 ton/ha ; 20 ton/ha, taraf dosis bokashi limbah sayuran adalah: 15 ton/Ha; 20 ton/ha dan 25 ton/ha. Variabel pengamatan meliputi ketersedian unsur hara N,P,K, Ca, Mg, serapan unsur hara N,P,K, berat kering dan berat segar tanaman lobak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian red mud dan bokashi limbah sayuran pada tanah gambut mampu meningkatkan pH, Kejenuhan Basa, ketersediaan unsur hara P, Ca, Mg,K dan Na. Namun, pemberian red mud dan bokashi limbah sayuran  menurunkan nilai KTK dan C Organik tanah.  Serapan unsur hara N, P dan K relatif sama antar kombinasi perlakuan, penyerapan unsur N paling besar diikuti okeh unsur K dan P. Pemberian red mud 18 ton/ha dan bokashi limbah sayuran 15 ton/ha merupakan dosis efektif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil lobak  pada tanah gambut.Kata kunci: Bokashi limbah sayuran, Gambut, Lobak,  red mud

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of katuk leaf decoction on the smooth production of breast milk in PMB R Year 2024. The research design was quantitative with a pre-experimental design using the one group pretest-posttest desaign approach. The population amounted to 15 postpartum mothers, the technique of taking using total sampling. Data analysis using Univariate Analysis and Bivariate Analysis. Hypothesis testing using Paired T-Test Test. The results of the study before giving the decoction of katuk leaves less breast milk 12 (80%) and smooth breast milk 3 (20%). Whereas after giving a decoction of katuk leaves, breast milk was smooth as much as 11 (73%) and less breast milk 4 (27%). The results of giving cotton leaf decoction before being given treatment in the intervention group obtained an average pretest value of 4.20 to the average posttest value of giving cotton leaf decoction to breast milk production 6.93, the significant value or p value is 0.000 (p < 0.05) so it is concluded that there is an effect of giving cotton leaf decoction on the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum women in PMB R in 2024. In this case, the decoction of katuk leaves will have a gradual effect on the frequency of breastfeeding the baby, and if the decoction of katuk leaves is consumed regularly and regularly, it will be able to increase the milk production of nursing mothers and affect the frequency of breastfeeding the baby.

Abstract

Rubber fruit shells are found as agricultural waste. Many farmers have not used rubber fruit shells. Therefore, the researchers made alternative fuels from rubber fruit shells containing 60-80% cellulose and 5-20% lignin. The research objective was to analyze the calorific value and burning rate of rubber fruit shell charcoal. The combustion rate test is carried out by burning charcoal and measuring how long it takes to turn into ash, and the mass of the burned ash. The heating value is done by making a simple furnace from a can filled with charcoal with a mass of 5g, 10g, 15g, 20g, 25g and 30g. 200ml of water is placed on the stove until it boils, measure the time and temperature when it boils. The result of the longest burning rate is 2.12g / minute. The heating value that results in high temperatures and large coals is 332.4 kJ. The conclusion of this study is that rubber fruit shells which have a large mass are very good to be used as an alternative fuel with a very high combustion rate and calorific value.
