Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether the principal's leadership, work discipline, and teacher's work motivation can affect the performance given to the school. The method used in this research is quantitative research by measuring variables using a Likert scale and analyzing data using SPSS 21.0 for windows. This research involved 196 honorary teachers in public elementary schools throughout Mejobo District, Kudus Regency. The results showed that the correlation/relationship (R) was 0.913. It was explained that the large percentage of influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable was by testing the coefficient of determination which was the result of strengthening R (R Square) of 0.833, which means that the principal's leadership, work discipline, and motivation teacher work has an effect of 83% on teacher performance while other variables influence the rest. Whereas based on the t-test shows that the sig (one-sided) value is <0.01 out of 0.05, so H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted according to the decision in taking the t-test that if Ha is born, then the principal's leadership, work discipline, and work motivation partially have a positive effect on teacher performance honorary elementary school in Mejobo sub-district, Kudus district. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, significantly contributing to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, the shift in consumer behavior from traditional shopping to online shopping necessitates MSMEs to adapt to information technology, particularly e-commerce. This study aims to identify the factors supporting e-commerce adoption by MSMEs, including competitive pressure, entrepreneurial mindset, perceived benefits, and owner/HR knowledge. This research employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Square (PLS) methods to analyze data from 358 MSMEs respondents in Bandung, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, and Mataram. The results indicate that all independent variables (competitive pressure, entrepreneurial mindset, perceived benefits, and knowledge) significantly influence e-commerce adoption. These findings provide practical contributions for SMEs in developing effective e-commerce adoption strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, work motivation, and career development on teacher performance at Private Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Cepu District, Blora Regency. Teacher performance is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of education, especially in vocational schools which are required to produce work-ready graduates. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population in this study were all teachers in three private vocational schools in Cepu, with a total of 139 respondents obtained through the census method. Data collection was carried out through a closed questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale covering four main variables. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using the latest version of SPSS. The research results show that the three independent variables, namely work environment, work motivation, and career development, simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Work motivation is the variable that most dominantly influences teacher performance compared to the other two variables. These findings have the implication that efforts to improve teacher performance must be focused on improving the work environment, providing incentives and recognition to increase motivation, as well as structured career development. This research also emphasizes the importance of managerial strategies and educational policies that support the sustainability of teacher professionalism in private schools. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for school management and policy makers in improving the quality of education in developing areas such as Cepu.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the factors affecting employee performance, with career development as a moderating variable. Conducted at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (Kanwil DJBC) in Aceh, the research focused on a setting with similar phenomena. A quantitative approach was employed, and data from 116 employees were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings revealed that organizational culture significantly influences job performance, with a coefficient of 0.423 and a p-value of 0.002. In contrast, motivation (coefficient: 0.174, p-value: 0.215) and competence (coefficient: 0.136, p-value: 0.310) did not show significant effects. Additionally, career development did not moderate the relationship between the independent variables and job performance (coefficient: 0.089, p-value: 0.482). The results emphasize the critical role of organizational culture in enhancing employee performance and suggest the need for a more structured career development framework to further support workforce effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of psychological well-being and work-life balance on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The background to this research is based on the existence of an evidence gap or inconsistency in findings in previous studies regarding the relationship between psychological well-being and work-life balance on employee performance, as well as the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance. In addition, this research highlights the importance of managerial commitment as a mediator in the relationship between these variables. The study was conducted on 143 employees within the Directorate General of Protocol and Consular of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Variable measurements were carried out using a Likert scale, and data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method using the SMART PLS application. The research results show that psychological well-being significantly affects employee performance through organizational commitment with an estimated coefficient of 0.180, a T-statistic of 3.333, and a P-value of 0.001. Furthermore, work-life balance also significantly affects employee performance through organizational commitment with an estimated coefficient of 0.241, T-statistic of 2.805, and P-value of 0.005. These results confirm that organizational commitment mediates the relationship between psychological well-being and work-life balance on employee performance. These findings provide theoretical contributions to understanding the mechanisms of relationships between variables and practical implications for organizations in improving employee performance. Paying attention to employees' psychological well-being and work-life balance and strengthening organizational commitment can increase work effectiveness and productivity.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of personality, competence, and performance on organizational commitment in Islamic banks, with Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) serving as a mediating variable. Conducted in North Maluku, Indonesia, the research employs a quantitative explanatory design and utilizes structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24.0 to test the proposed relationships. Data were obtained through closed-ended questionnaires distributed to 175 employees selected via probability sampling across several Islamic banking institutions. The findings reveal that personality and performance have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment, whereas competence does not exert a direct influence. Furthermore, IWE significantly contributes to strengthening organizational commitment by embedding ethical values into workplace behavior. Personality and competence both positively affect the application of IWE, which in turn mediates their relationship with organizational commitment. These results underscore the strategic importance of fostering competence through conflict management training, enhancing the internalization of Islamic ethical principles, and promoting innovation in service delivery.
