This study aims to give learning alternatives to underachiever students using CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning strategies to increase learning outcomes and understanding concepts on statistics topics. The development of this learning is done by analyzing the needs of the underachiever students. Performance objective and learning outcomes are adjusted to the instructional event. The results of this study indicate that CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning is recommended to help underachiever students in improving learning outcomes and understanding concepts on statistics topics.

Selain pentingnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, juga terdapat hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan di zaman sekarang yaitu karakter positif siswa. Nilai budaya yang menjadi landasan karakter merupakan hal yang penting untuk ditanamkan dalam setiap diri individu. Dalam implementasi pelajaran matematika salah satu yang dapat menjembatani antara budaya dan Pendidikan adalah etnomatematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran terhadap karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review. Dari 64 artikel setelah diseleksi sesuai dengan kriteria seleksi sehingga diperoleh 15 artikel yang terkait erat dengan kata kunci dan sesuai dengan kriteria seleksi. Melalui etnomatematika peserta didik memperoleh Pendidikan budaya serta Pendidikan karakter, melalui pengenalan budaya local menjadikan peserta didik lebih menghargai budaya mereka dan dapat mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang ada didalamnya yang akan memberi kontribusi dalam membentuk karakter bangsa.

This paper presents the development of the learning design for the Two Variable Linear Inequality System (SPtLDV) material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model for high school students. To find out the suitability of the learning model with the teaching material, student analysis, needs analysis, and task analysis are discussed in detail. PBL stages consist of 5 phases, namely 1) student orientation to problems; 2) organize students to learn; 3) guide individual and group investigations; 4) develop and present the work; and 5) analyze and evaluate the problem solving process. The results and discussion are discussed in detail to determine the suitability of the selection of teaching materials with the chosen learning objectives and how the learning activities support the learning objectives. Then to determine the effectiveness of the PBL design, it is necessary to evaluate both formative evaluation and summative evaluation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peranan teori konstruktivisme dalam berbagai pembelajaran mataematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode telaah pustaka sistematis dengan mengumpulkan 20 artikel yang relevan dan kemudian dipilih untuk memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan kriteria penilaian kualitas hasil studi. Ditemukan informasi tentang berbagai macam variasi hasil belajar matematika menggunakan pendekatan ini, mulai dari SD, SMP, SMA, dan Perguruan Tinggi. Pendekatan teori konstruktivisme dinilai efektif dan memiliki manfaat yang cukup baik, serta dinilai berhasil dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran di kelas, adapaun teori ini dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan modul pembelajaran, pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan bahkan dapat digunakan sebagai model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dan dapat meningkatkan komumikasi matematis siswa dalam berbagai bidang pendidikan matematika.

The role of prior mathematical knowledge and interest in mathematics as internal factors that can influence the mathematical concept understanding ability in learning mathematics in schools is important to consider. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of prior mathematical knowledge and interest in mathematics to mathematical concept understanding ability. This study uses a quantitative research approach with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The participants in this study totaled 91 students who were all students of class X MA As-syafiiyah 02 Kota Bekasi for academic year 2022/2023. The results of this study were obtained: 1) Students' prior mathematical knowledge had a significant effect on students' mathematical concept understanding partially 2) Students' interest in learning mathematics had a significant effect on student’s mathematical concept understanding partially 3) prior mathematical knowledge and interest in learning mathematics simultaneously had a significant influence to the mathematical concept understanding ability. This can be interpreted that the acquisition of students' mathematical concept understanding ability can be increased by considering the factors of prior mathematical knowledge and students' interest in learning mathematics.

Pendidikan menjadi salah satu sektor yang harus beradapatasi akibat pesatnya perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan agar tercipta proses dan hasil pendidikan yang berkualitas dan sesuai perkembangan zaman. Virtual reality sebagai salah teknologi yang sedang dikembangkan dalam dunia pendidikan. tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran teknologi virtual reality yang digunakan sebagai media untuk membangun kemampuan dialogis siswa di dalam pembelajaran matematika. metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka. data diambil dari berbagai literatur yang relevan berupa buku, artikel, jurnal, maupun sumber-sumber tertulis lainnya. data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan dikaji sedemikian memperoleh hasil kajian yang disajikan secara deskriptif. hasil kajian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa teknologi virtual reality dapat berperan untuk membangun kemampuan dialogis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peran tersebut akan maksimal bilamana guru mampu membuat dan menyajikan konten pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulus siswa untuk mengkritisi sebuah masalah dan mendorong siswa membangun dialog serta berargumen dengan siswa lain.

There are factors that influence the success of mathematical solution to problem abilities namely is self-regulated learning. This’s an internal factor that must be possessed by students which is still not optimal and needs to be studied. This study aims to explore and describe solving mathematical problems in SPLDV material, namely the elimination method and the substitution method. The population of class VIII students at modern female Islamic boarding school At-taqwa Bogor are all female students. Mixed method is the step used in this study with a concurrent embedded design. Experimental class VIII.C and 6 subjects were selected, divided into 2 student cognition of regulation, 2 students Motivation of regulation, 2 students Behavior of regulation. Data collection was carried out by tests, questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study; 1) The MMP learning model is more successful in the ability to solve problems in the KKM score; 2) The average value of the problem-solving ability test in the MMP class is better than direct learning; 3) the factor of self-regulated learning is concluded that; (a) students' problem solving skills with very good cognitive regulation; (b) Problem solving skills with good predicate motivational regulation and sufficient checking of answers; (c) The ability of students with affective regulation in the three steps is quite sufficient.

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kecakapan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Kompetensi ini dibutuhkan untuk mendukung siswa dalam berpikir dan menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Diperlukan identifikasi awal mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa untuk dapat menjadi acuan dalam merancang model atau strategi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika pada materi lingkaran, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampPemilihan subjek penelitian didasari oleh hasil observasi peneliti terhadap masalah yang ada di lapangan yang kemudian didiskusikan dengan guru mata pelajaran. Hasil pekerjaan siswa ditelaah dengan mengacu pada indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti, yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa berada pada kriteria rendah, dengan kata lain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum memenuhi indikator yang optimal, yaitu interpretasi sebesar 38,24%; analisis sebesar 49,02%; evaluasi sebesar 47,3%; dan inferensi sebesar 26,47%.

This study discusses the meaning and indicators of mathematical understanding concepts. The research method used is library research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the ability to understand a concept mathematically is the ability to absorb and understand an idea or mathematic concept and relates one concept to another, and being able to represent it with mathematic form and create mathematic problem-solving algorithms in a precise, accurate and efficiently applied in everyday problems using own language.

This research discusses the implementation of the Socratic method in modern education. The purpose of this research is to improve the critical thinking skills of eighth grade students when they study the Pythagorean content in mathematics through the use of the Socratic approach. The Socratic technique is one of them. The Socratic dialogue learning strategy is based on the idea that knowledge and higher-order thinking skills can be developed through collaborative question and answer sessions between students and instructors and between students, making use of verbal and non-verbal cues. The results of research conducted at SMAN 15 Bandarlampung show that compared to students who are taught using more conventional methods, students who are exposed to the Socratic approach have a much greater increase in critical thinking skills. More than 75% of students are actively involved in the learning process, and most of those who participate do so effectively. It was found that the Socratic method was effective in eliciting thoughtful responses from the class
