Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan e-Modul berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Medan T.A 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan motode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi eksperimen design. Sampel dalan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-7 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan e-Modul berbasis Problem based learning dan kelas kontrol hanya menggunakan buku paket pengangan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes dan angket. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara deskriptif menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 22 for windows dan dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test. Dari pengolahan dan analisis data diperoleh hasil yaitu persentase rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen kelas kontrol yaitu 81,60% 74,60%, dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test diperoleh signifikasi data 0,05 (0,000); H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh penerapan e-Modul berbasis Problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together learning model on grade VII mathematics learning outcomes as well as the difficulties or weaknesses of students learning by using the Numbered Head Together learning model. This research is quantitative research with experimental research type, the research used pretest-posttest control group design. In this study the population was all class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei Tuan and the sample used consisted of two classes namely VII-6 (experimental class) and class VII-7 (control class). The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Based on the results of the pretest data, the average value of the experimental class was 29.59 and the control class was 31.5. While the posttest results obtained an average experimental value of 77.40 and a control class of 71.34. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test, it is concluded that there is a significant effect of the Numbered Head Together learning model on the learning outcomes of seventh grade mathematics students at SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei Tuan. The Numbered Head Together model can reduce students difficulties in understanding and solving linear equations of one variable and increase students’ active participation in learning.

Abstract

Cognitive ability is one of the substantial things in learning mathematics so that textbooks which act as the main source of learning should encourage the development of students' cognitive abilities and learning goals. The aim of this research is to describe the results of the cognitive level analysis of junior high school mathematics textbooks for class VII semester I based on the revised Bloom's Taxonomy and numeracy. The type of research used is descriptive research. Data was collected by recording and coding the contents of the book which focused on example questions, Let's Practice questions and Competency Test questions. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that there are several existing literature studies that the cognitive level analysis of competency test questions in mathematics books must be revised so that students can understand the mechanism of questions according to the reading material regarding the contents of the book. The questions contained in textbooks do not contain a good proportion between each cognitive level, and there are still few numeracy questions involving personal, social or scientific contexts.

Abstract

Keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi penting diluaskan pada diri peserta didik, karena mereka memainkan peran penting dalam memahami masalah. Pembelajaran mengutamakan proses pemodelan matematika berdasarkan kondisi lingkungan siswa, sehingga pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dapat mengembangkan daya pikir tingkat tinggi. Analsis ini merupakan tentang penelitian kualitatif interpretatif yaitu suatu studi yang datanya diberikan secara wajar atau apa adanya dengan menerapkan tata kerja yang terstuktur, terpaku dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan agar tidak kehilangan sifat ilmiahnya. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginformasikan kepada pengajar atau pendidik bahwa dalam mengimplementasikan RME (Realistics Mathematic Education) dapat meningkatkan pola pikir murid sehingga meningkatkan keterampilan HOTS pada muatan bidang studi pada SD. Pola didalam analisis ini menggunakan metode mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengevaluasi, menginterpretasikan penelitan. Berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka, didasarkan pada beberapa indikator kemampuan berpikir siswa tinggi: interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Selanjutnya, pengembangan beberapa langkah pembelajaran pendidikan matematika realistik (RME): persiapan, inisiasi, sistem proses pembelajaran, dan penyelesaian.

Abstract

The role of school leadership in improving teacher performance is an important thing to do to produce professional teachers. School principals must have the necessary skills to fulfill their roles effectively and efficiently, maximizing school resourcesThis study employs a purely quantitative methodology. The research subjects include the school principal and three teachers from SD Negeri 5 Juli. Regardless of the method, data collection is carried out through observation, conversation, and documentation. The information is then analyzed by means of data editing, data presentation, and the drawing of conclusions and verification. The purpose of this study is to provide a detailed description of the role of the school principal in boosting teacher performance.  Research findings indicate that the role of the head can be improved through teacher competence enhancement (both formally and informally), extensive academic supervision, the development of a productive school culture, and the provision of rewards based on performance. In addition, it's crucial to have resources that aid instructors in their teaching.

The principal as the main leader in elementary schools has a very important role in managing the school and leading all members of the school. Abstract

The research aims to develop teacher and student handbooks for realistic mathematics lessons for elementary schools. The development of this handbook is based on the reality in the field where the handbook of teachers and students especially the subjects using the 2013 curriculum still do not exist, and in daily learning activities teachers and students still use books that use themes. This research uses development research (Developmental Research). The subjects of this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 163085, H.A Bilal Tebingtinggi City and SD Negeri 106162, Medan Estate District, Deliserdang Regency. In the initial stage, observations were made during the learning process at the two schools and continued with interviews with students and teachers. From the results of these observations and interviews a primary school realistic mathematics teacher and student handbook was prepared. Furthermore, the realistic elementary school mathematics teacher and student handbook is validated by a team that aims to see and assess the quality of the realistic elementary school teacher and student mathematics handbook in order to arrange an effective handbook that will be used by teachers and students in learning. The validation results show that realistic mathematics teacher and student handbooks are developed in both categories and can be used in teaching and learning. The media book test was conducted on grade V students of SD Negeri 163085 Tebingtinggi city and SD Negeri 106162 Medan Estate Deliserdang Regency. The trial results show that the elementary school teacher and student mathematics handbook is effective and can help facilitate understanding of mathematical concepts at the elementary school level. This can be seen from the number of students who can reach the KKM from the two schools is increasing. For SD Negeri 163085 HA Bilal, Tebingtinggi City, if at the time of the pre-test only 1 student (3%) was able to reach the KKM, then after being given the learning process using a teacher and student handbook developed the number of students who could reach the KKM increased to 24 students (82.7%) while those under the KKM were only (17.3%) or 5 students. The same thing was seen in SD Negeri 106162, Medanestate Subdistrict, Deliserdang Regency. If at the time of the Pre-test only 2 students (6.6%) had scored above the KKM, after the post-test there was an increase in students who achieved the KKM score of 25 students (83.3%). Abstract

Strengthening literacy, numeracy and character skills is an important effort to improve the quality of human resources in the Digital Age and the Era of Disruption. As a teacher or education personnel, developing students' activeness so that they can apply numeracy skills well is a big responsibility. The numeracy skills in question are number concepts and arithmetic operation skills used for daily life skills. This service activity aims to provide numeracy literacy-based learning process assistance to junior high school teachers in Medan City to improve the ability of teachers to create Numeracy Literacy HOTS questions. This activity is carried out in several stages, namely the team preparation stage, school observation, making modules/materials to be delivered to mentoring activities. In delivering the material, the community service team used various methods, questions and answers, discussions, lectures and assignments.  All of these methods are used as needed. The result of the activity is that teachers can develop HOTS-based questions in groups according to their respective subjects. The group was chosen in order to provide a positive stimulus to teachers who do not know and understand the preparation of HOTS-based questions on Numeracy Literacy to be encouraged to be able to compile independently and apply in preparing evaluation questions to students.

Abstract

Penelitian berlatar belakang karena rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dengan diterapkannya model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra di kelas VIII SMPN 5 Mandau. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII-1 SMPN 5 Mandau yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan lembar observasi guru dan siswa, serta tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tes dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali, yaitu tes awal, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis I dan II. Pada tes awal sebelum diberikannya tindakan, terlihat bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masuk kedalam kategori sangat tidak kritis. Setelah diberikannya tindakan pada siklus I dan II, terlihat suatu peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara tes awal dengan tes kemampuan I, serta ke tes kemampuan II. Pada siklus I hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara klasikal sebesar 62,96%, dimana terjadi peningkatan sebesar 62,96% dari 0%. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 22,22% yaitu 85,18%. Dengan meningkatnya rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan tercapainya kriteria ketuntasan klasikal maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMPN 5 Mandau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran kontekstual untuk meningkatkan perilaku dan kemampuan berpikir kiritis siswa pada materi bangun sisi datar. Berdasarkan observasi di sekolah MTs Al – Ittihadiyah, diketahui dengan jelas ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung, peserta didik belum mencapai ketuntasan, terutama dalam berpikir kritis dan prilaku karakter. Jenis Penelitian ini berbentuk design eksperimen berbentuk desain faktorial yang merupakan modifikasai dari design true experimental dimana memperhatikan kemungkinan mempengaruhi perlakuan (independent variabel) terhadap prilaku karakter dan kemampuan berpikir kritis (dependent variable). populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik MTs Al – Ittihadiyah Dalam hal ini sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas VIII. Satu kelas dijadikan kelas eksperimen I dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual dan kelas berikutnya dijadikan kelas eksperimen II dengan menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori (konvensional) yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 peserta didikTeknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes esai dan angket skala Likert dan teknik analisa data menggunakan IBM SPSS 22 for windows, dengan uji General Linier Models. Hasil Penelitian ini diketahui bahwa (a) Ada perbedaan signifikan prilaku karakter dengan pembelajaran kontekstual dengan peserta didik yang belajar dengan pendekatan ekspositori, (b) ada perbedaan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan pembelajaran kontekstual dengan peserta didik yang belajar dengan pendekatan ekspositori dan (c) Terdapat ada interaksi pembelajaran kontekstual dengan prilaku karakter  terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VIII Semester II MTs Al – Ittihadiyah pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar.
