Abstract

In the context of education, curriculum changes are often faced with diverse challenges. These include global demands, technological developments, and dynamic community needs. This research aims to analyze the problems that arise due to curriculum changes that occur every year, as well as their impact on the learning process and student competence. In addition, it aims to create students who are broad-minded, creative, critical, and innovative towards the problems that will be faced in the future. The method used in this research is a literature study and a survey of educators and students to identify gaps between curriculum policy and its implementation in the field. The conclusion of this study shows that although curriculum changes aim to improve the quality of education, often rapid and poorly planned changes result in learning difficulties and instability in the teaching and learning process, requiring a more structured and participatory approach to its design.

Abstract

Landslides are a natural phenomenon in the form of movement of land masses in search of a new balance due to external disturbances which cause a reduction in soil shear strength and an increase in soil shear stress. The main factors that influence the occurrence of landslides include rainfall, soil type, land use and slope slope. The aim of this research is to find out how the Pujon sub-district government handles landslides and identify factors influencing landslides. This research was carried out using a literature review research method which provides output on existing data, as well as an explanation of a discovery so that it can be used as an example for research studies in compiling or making a clear discussion of the content of the problem to be researched. The author looks for data or literary material from journals or articles and also references from books so that it can be used as a strong basis for the content or discussion.

Abstract

Every human activity, whether ordinary work activities, business, education, social activities, and so on, depends on the transportation sector. Considering that transportation is the result of the movement of people and objects, improving the transportation system requires comprehensive handling. This has resulted in the growth rate of urbanization flows from rural to urban areas being quite high. For example, the population of Malang City has increased in the last eight years, from 804,803 people in 2013 to 844,933 people in 2021. Public problems have also emerged, starting from the loss of green space, changes in urban planning design, to the phenomenon of traffic jams. This research uses a descriptive method with qualitative data analysis, namely a problem solving approach that seeks the best way to characterize the current state of the research object based on available facts. It is natural that Malang City, which is the second largest city in East Java, cannot be separated from the population explosion. From many angles, this causes traffic jams, which can impact the ability of these neighborhoods to carry out daily activities comfortably, safely and peacefully. After the construction and inauguration of the TUGGULMAS Bridge on February 24 2022, one of the traffic hotspots is on Jalan Raya Tlogomas. The discussion above shows that there is still room for improvement in the implementation of the TUGGULMAS Bridge construction program to ease traffic congestion in Malang City. seen from the various ways of implementing and monitoring the WTulmas Bridge Construction Program, from the way the Program is evaluated and influenced, and from the way the Program is supported and inhibited effectively and efficiently to achieve these goals. reduce traffic jams in Malang City

Abstract

The principle of Equilibrium (balance) in indigenous and tribal peoples is an ethical demand considering the moral, social, and legal values prevailing in society. This concept is closely related to the communal mentality of customary law. This writing aims to understand how the principle of Equilibrium (balance) is applied to the cosmological rights of indigenous and tribal peoples as an effort to implement Pancasila values. The method used in this research is normative legal research with a statutory approach, supported by observation and interviews, then analyzed prescriptively to achieve a clear understanding of the issues discussed. This principle of balance serves as a guide for creating a balance between rights and obligations which can be realized concretely through legal and non-legal norms in the context of customary law communities. This allows various rights owned by indigenous peoples to be recognized and respected. Therefore, the government needs to prioritize Pancasila values in development and pay attention to the cosmological rights of indigenous and tribal peoples. Thus, customary law can be a means to answer various legal problems faced by the people in their daily lives in certain areas while maintaining the cosmological rights of the indigenous peoples themselves.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decline in Indonesia’s economic growth in many sectors, including the tourism sector. As a result of this pandemic, the Government of Indonesia made a policy called Imposing Restrictions on Community Activities (abbreviated as PPKM) starting on July 3, 2021, until August 16, 2021. PPKM is a Government policy aimed at reducing the transmission of COVID-19 cases. Commonly, Tourism has significantly contributed to State and Regional economies. The objective of this research is to discuss the impact of the PPKM policy on decreasing the number of tourists and income at Selecta Recreation Park, Batu City. During the PPKM period, all tourist destinations were required to close. Still, the PPKM policy impacted delays in planning for the renovation of the Selecta market, strict government regulations regarding health protocols, cutting working days and employee salaries, and no flower garden maintenance costs and garden measures. Selecta's recreation deals with PPKM, such as showing Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment certificates, implementing strict health protocols, requiring tourists to scan the Peduli Lindungi application, and already having the second dose of the vaccine, and limiting tourist quotas. The method used in this research employed a qualitative approach, which aimed to research using existing targets to obtain as much data as possible regarding research targets; in addition to describing, exploring, and understanding the meaning that some individuals or groups of people ascribe to social or humanitarian issues. While the nature of the research was descriptive using an inductive analysis approach and case studies by approaching informants.
