Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how early childhood cognitive ability development occurs in case 1) Memory 2) Recognize numbers and their sequences, and 3) Application of educational materials in everyday life. The research method and approach are qualitative descriptive, with data collection instruments including observation sheets, interviews, attitude scale questionnaires, and documentation studies. Qualitative analysis was used to supplement descriptive statistical analysis. Ten individuals participated in the research, six (six) boys and four (four) girls from group B TKQ Mutiara Qolbu Cihampelas West Bandung Regency. The research revealed that: 1). The use of hand movement method can help children improve their memory. This is evident in the increasing amount of food and drink that the child recalls. Initially, the child could recall only three materials adab eating and drinking in two weeks. After two weeks, the child could recall six materials. 2) Children can recognize numbers and classify movements according to direction, whereas previously the child was restricted to knowing the numbers and the order of movement. 3) The child can recall previously taught material but has been unable to apply it in his daily life. The study's findings indicated that hand movement method was effective at improving early childhood cognitive abilities. This study suggests that when combined with learning media, repetition, and habituation at home with parents, hand movement method may be more effective. Along with being easily remembered, the material can also be applied optimally on a daily basis.Keywords: early childhood, hand movement method, cognitive abilitiesAbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat bagaimana perkembangan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini dalam hal 1). Daya ingat, 2). Mengenal angka dan urutan, serta 3). Pengaplikasian materi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode dan pendekatan penelitian yang diambil adalah deskriptif kualitatif, di mana lembar observasi, wawancara, angket skala sikap, dan studi dokumentasi menjadi instrument dalam pengumpulan datanya. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif yang dilengkapi dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 10 (sepuluh) orang, yang terdiri atas 6 (enam) orang anak laki dan 4 (empat) orang anak perempuan di kelompok B TKQ Mutiara Qolbu Cihampelas Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Dari hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa 1). Penggunaan metode gerakan tangan dapat meningkatkan daya ingat anak, hal ini dapat dilihat dari bertambahnya materi adab makan dan minum yang diingat anak. Yang asalnya anak hanya mampu mengingat 3 (tiga) materi adab makan dan minum dalam dua minggu menjadi 6 (enam) materi dalam dua minggu. 2) Anak dapat mengenal angka dan mengurutkan gerakan sesuai arahan, dimana pada awalnya anak masih terkendala dalam mengenal angka dan urutan gerakannya, 3) Anak dapat mengingatkan orang sekitar materi yang telah diajarkan, namun belum dapat mengaplikasikan materi tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Implikasi dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa metode gerakan tangan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah metode gerakan tangan akan lebih efektif apabila disertai dengan media pembelajaran, dilakukan pengulangan, dan pembiasaan di rumah bersama orang tua, sehingga selain materi dapat diingat dengan baik, dapat juga diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan optimal..Kata Kunci: Kemampuan kognitif, metode gerakan, anak usia dini

Abstract

This study aims to examine innovative learning methods based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) to stimulate the formation of mental entrepreneurship for young children so that in the future they become independent entrepreneurs. This study uses several theoretical studies that are used as a basis, namely the theory of out of school education, critical pedagogy, and entrepreneurship. The qualitative approach with the case study method is used by the writer as a research approach. The results showed that the application of STEAM learning methods in early childhood students can stimulate the formation of their entrepreneurial spirit for their future.Keywords: Out-of-School Education; Critical Pedagogy; Entrepreneurship. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji metode pembelajaran inovatif berbasis Science, Technology, Enginering, Art, dan Math (STEAM) dalam rangka menstimulasi pembentukan mental entrepeneur bagi anak usia dini supaya di masa depan menjadi wirausaha mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa kajian teoretis yang dijadikan landasan, yakni teori pendidikan luar sekolah, pedagogi kritis, dan kewirausahaan. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan penulis sebagai pendekatan penelitian. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran STEAM pada peserta didik anak usia dini dapat menstimulasi pembentukan jiwa wirausaha mereka untuk untuk masa depannya.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Luar Sekolah; Pedagogi Kritis; Kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian dosen kepada masyarakat ini adalah (1) Untuk memetakan keberadaan para guru di Kabupaten Bandung Barat terutama terkait dengan kehidupan ekonomi dan kemandiriannya, (2) Untuk mengetahui kegiatan lain yang dapat menunjang para guru sehingga mendapatkan income tambahan. (3) Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan profesi guru dengan mendapatkan income tambahan dari aktivitas lain yang menunjang. Kajian teori yang dipakai adalah teori pemberdayaan masyarakat, konsep pelatihan, kewirausahaan dan bisnis online.. Lokasi Pengabdian dilaksanakan di SDN Kayu Ambon Kecamatan Lembang dengan objek sasaran adalah para pendidik di Lembaga Pendidikan formal dan non formal.Metode Pengabdian dengan melakukan tindakan secara langsung berupa pelatihan pelatihan kewirausahaan sebagai upaya meningkatkan income tambahan guru-guru. Adapun langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam pengabdian ini adalah (1) Mengidentifikasi Masalah (2) Studi Literature (3) Menyusun Desain Pengabdian (4) Membuat pedoman observasi dan wawancara (5) Melakukan Analisa dan (6) Menulis Laporan Hasil Pengabdian.Hasil dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat merespon positif terhadap kegiatan pengabdian dosen ini yang ditunjukan dengan keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Mereka menunjukkan ekspresinya baik dari aspek kognisi dengan aktif bertanya, aspek afeksi melalui antusiasnya sikap, maupun psikomotor menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan keterampilan. Mereka berharap dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang didapatkan untuk memulai merintis usaha secara online.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the description of students' self-efficacy towards online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Students who have high self-efficacy will have a passion for learning and be able to survive when facing many school assignments. The phenomenon that occurs during learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some students who experience low self-efficacy. This can be seen from the lack of enthusiasm in learning, easily stressed when many tasks and tend not to do school assignments that have been given. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation studies. The results obtained showed that three students of class XI had low self-efficacy towards learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: Student, Self efficacy, Online learning, Covid-19

Abstract

Residents of learning package c in addition to requiring academic knowledge and provision of skills relevant to their living environment so that residents studying package c can immediately work according to the skills they can have while attending education which is called life skills education or life skills education in PKBM Girisewu District  Cisewu. The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts of life skills education in growing entrepreneurship for learning citizens package c.  The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, using data collection techniques by means of observation and interviews. The research subjects are one manager, one tutor and three study residents PKBM Girisewu.  The results show that growing entrepreneurship is formed from life skills education with the planning used in growing entrepreneurship through life skills education, the positive impact for residents learning package c following life skills education is that learning citizens are able to analyze entrepreneurial opportunities and take advantage of the potential around them as entrepreneurial commodities in the form of  goods or services. The conclusion is that the role of PKBM is very supportive in community empowerment through PKBM's flagship program, namely life skills education programs that help improve the community's economy.

Abstract

The background of this research is that child development requires a family that acts as a center for children, where interactions between children and other families can make a foundation for children's attitudes towards other people and the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the implementation of the parenting program to increase the capacity of parents in instilling healthy lifestyle behaviors for early childhood based on Ala Rasul. This study uses a qualitative descriptive emethod, with the number of samples in the study being one manager, one teacher, and 6 representatives of parents. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of parenting to increase the capacity of parents in instilling healthy living behavior for early childhood based on the Ala Rasul has been going well following the purpose of this activity, namely increasing the capacity of parents in instilling healthy living behaviors in children, parents of students. gain knowledge that can be used at home where parents are examples when children are at home.

Abstract

The learning process will run well if students have good motivation. This study aims to determine the illustration of student motivation in class VIII at Nurul Hidayah Middle School, Pasundan, Cianjur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative case study. The data collection is using interview, observation and documentation techniques. From the results of the data analysis, group guidance services have been provided with role playing techniques through several stages and are going well. In this problem the counseling guidance service used is group guidance service. The description of group guidance service activities with role playing procedures or role games is a learning strategy as part of a coordinated recreation in creating various opportunities for social-social change, creating real events or events that may arise in the future. By using the process of imagination, all students can be involved in the execution, besides the strong developments made by students will make it easier for students to understand the core of the material given.Keywords: Group Guidance, Role Playing Techniques, Learning Motivation

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in SMA Negeri 1 Margaasih where some students experience social media addiction. As a from effort made to deal with these problems group guidance services with self-management techniques can be an alternative to reduce social media addiction behavior. Because it aims to make students able to determine the implementation of group guidance services with self-management techniques for students who are addicted to social media. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection instrument used observation, intervews and documentation. The subjects of this study amounted to 6 students who experienced addiction to social media can be reduced. So that the implementation of groups guidance services with self-management techniques is effective for class XII students of SMA Negeri Margaasih who are addicted to social media. Keywords:      Group Guidance, Self-Management, Social Media Addiction

Abstract

Guru PAUD di era digitalisasi ini dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang memadai, baik dari segi wawasan maupun penggunaan teknologi digitalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kompetensi digital guru PAUD. Pendekatan dan metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara pada 10 orang guru PAUD di Kecamatan Babakan Ciparay, Kota Bandung. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tingkat kompetensi digital guru PAUD pada area pembuatan konten dan pengetahuan, evaluasi dan problem solving serta teknis pengoperasian masih rendah. Sedangkan pada area kolaborasi dan etika serta tanggung jawab sudah lebih tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya tuntutan kebutuhan mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan relasi dan menjadi bagian dari komunitas online. Dibutuhkan pelatihan dengan materi wawasan dan penggunaan teknologi digital terutama di dalam mengakses, mengelola informasi, dan menjadikannya sebuah konten dalam pembelajaran di PAUD
