Abstract

This article is entitled typology of learning the meaning of hadith according to Yusuf Al-Qardhawi in his book entitled Kaifa Nata'amal Ma al-Sunnah Al-Nabawiyah. In understanding a hadith text, al-Qardhawi also often uses several approaches in explaining the meaning of sentences both in text and context. This article examines how al-Qardhawi applies methods to differences in understanding hadith, and how al-Qardhawi's method resolves dualism of opinion in one hadith text and meaning in its interpretation. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, this article examines the basic concepts of different ways of understanding hadith, looks for the roots of the character's thoughts, explains the advantages and disadvantages of the method including its implications. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the patterns used include studying the meaning of hadith according to the instructions of the Qur'an, analyzing the opposite of a hadith with the Qur'an, collecting hadith in one theme, merging and interpreting hadith, understanding hadith historically, paying attention to the meaning of haqiqi and majazi and ascertaining the meaning and connotation of words in the hadith.

Abstract

Adil adalah suatu konsep yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia, adil dalam arti sama, adil dalam arti seimbang, adil adalah perhatian terhadap hak-hak individu dan memberikan hak-hak itu kepada pemiliknya, adil yang dinisbahkan kepada Allah. Ubay bin Ka’ab adalah penduduk Yatsrib (Madinah) yang sangat cerdas, gemar membaca dan pandai menulis Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep adil dalam Surah Al-Bayyinah dengan pendekatan kisah Ubay bin Ka’ab, seorang sahabat Nabi Muhammad ﷺ yang dikenal sebagai ahli Al-Qur’an. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis tafsir dan kajian historis terhadap riwayat Ubay bin Ka’ab yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai keadilan dalam Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keadilan dalam Surah Al-Bayyinah mencakup aspek keadilan dalam keimanan, sikap terhadap kebenaran, serta dalam hubungan sosial. Kisah Ubay bin Ka’ab memberikan ilustrasi konkret tentang bagaimana seorang Muslim harus bersikap adil dalam memahami dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam, Beliau pernah mengeksekusi putranya sendiri, karena melakukan perbuatan zina. Dalam soal hukum beliau tegakkan tanpa pandang bulu, serta beliau putuskan secara adil  meskipun terhadap dirinya sendiri.

Abstract

This article discusses a Phenomenological Study of Al-‘Afwu in Contemporary Qur’anic Exegesis and its Relevance to Trust Issues. This research is motivated by the phenomenon that modern-era society is starting to forget the true meaning and nature of forgiveness. That's why the problem of forgiveness (Al-‘Afwu) is underestimated, so it is very easy to forgive someone but still hold a grudge against that person, resulting in many people being hit by a crisis of trust (Trust Issues). The Trust Issues here is not human belief in God, but rather the belief that arises as a result of interacting with other humans. This research focuses on discussing the relationship between Al- ‘Afwu and the Trust Issues phenomenon. This type of research is library research using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely reading and analyzing study objects related to research. The study object in question comes from primary data and secondary data. The primary source for this research is contemporary Qur’anic Exegesis books while the secondary sources come from books, journals, articles and other written sources related to the research. The research results show that without Al-‘Afwu, Trust Issue sufferers will have difficulty trusting other people again, making it difficult for themselves because humans cannot be separated from other humans. There are many ways and methods for healing Trust Issues, but if the sufferer has not forgiven themselves and the people who have hurt them, it will be in vain. That is why Allah Swt. commands his servants to have a totally forgiving nature (Al-‘Afwu), namely forgiving others and erasing mistakes that have been made by the person who hurt them without any intention of revenge so that the ties of friendship are maintained and remain harmonious.
